Sugar Jennings has a problem and Bad Panther has the purr-fect solution. Dr. Sugar Jennings is an Archaeologist and an Ancient Earth Historian. She’s also the host of an ancient artifact of enormous power. Now everyone wants Sugar dead because of it. They want the power she possesses, but she can’t let them get it. Desperation drives her to seek help but no one is willing to risk their life in … willing to risk their life in the job of protecting hers. Or no one did until a mercenary panther shifter decided she might be worth the trouble. Now all she has to do is convince the ancient artifact she carries not to kill her panther guardian for trying to help her.
Axel Rodu is a rogue panther shifter and the Guardians of Earth heir to the Lyran throne. His work for the paranormal agency is a special contract only, but even their toughest problems barely keep his boredom at bay. Has he earned the name Bad Panther? Depends on who you ask so long as you don’t ask his newest client. Ironically though, Axel has no intentions of using Dr. Sugar Jennings to worsen his reputation. He has one job to do concerning the nosy archaeologist and one job only. By order of his queen, whatever it takes, he must make sure Dr. Jennings stays alive until the artifact is done with her.

This is Book 1 in the Alien Guardian series. Dr. Sugar Jennings is running for her life. She’s the host of an ancient power and bad people want that power. This is where Axel Rodu comes in. He is a bored rogue panther shifter and he’s going to protect Sugar. The chemistry between them is hot, like really hot. There’s so much happening in this book that you are holding on to the edge of your seat all the way through the book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series! I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Net Galley.
I loved this story. It is the kind that you can identify with the characters and immerse yourself in the story. Very well written and characters to win the heart make this book a must read.

Bad Panther by Donna McDonald is the first book in the Alien Guardians of Earth series. In this book, an archeologist named Sugar finds an alien blade named the Protector. The Protector blade begins to merge with her which causes her all types of problems and causes all types of people to try and capture her to gain access to the blade. During the search for someone to keep her safe she meets Axel, a Lyran prince who is a member of a group of aliens who are the Lyran protectors of Earth. This is the beginning of a fascinating story full of danger, exciting adventure, and a compelling love story between two very different people who are meant to be together. I loved reading this story with its compelling characters and unique plot. Bad Panther is a phenomenal human alien love story.
Bad Panther (Alien Guardians of Earth #1) by Donna McDonald is an amazing story that I have read and fell in love with. This is book number one in this amazing start to a brand new series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters, Sci-Fi and paranormal romances in their stories.

Bad Panther by Donna McDonald
Alien Guardians of Earth #1
Introducing a new paranormal fun-filled action-packed series with shifters, ancient relics, aliens, romance and a whole lot more. This book begins the quest to find two more “blades” and the hosts they will reside in while telling a bit of the history of the two “blades” already found. Dr. Sugar Jennings is an intelligent, strong, curious woman who gets a bit more than she bargained for when searching in a cave one day. When she meets Axel her life changes…and so does his. I am curious about Maxwell, a wolf-shifter, and wonder if he will show up in future books of this or another series and have a feeling some of Axel’s siblings may have their stories told, too. Perhaps we will hear more about Axel’s parents and their backstories as the story unfolds as they seem rather interesting and pertinent to the story, too.
