The man had seemed so innocent in the bar—okay, not innocent, per se. He’d been hot, hard, and possessed a butt that I wanted to bite like the last chocolate chip cookie in my stash. He’d also skipped out of town faster than a villain in a B movie, leaving me woefully unsatisfied. I’d chalked the whole incident up to a bad night stand and moved on with my life. That was before the news of a failed … the news of a failed IUD. Before the plus sign. Before Jordan showed back up determined to make that night up to me.
I didn’t want a baby or a payday or a sexy, stubborn man in my life. I wanted to go back in time and pretend none of it had happened.
Unfortunately, my life had become all about that plus sign . . . and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it.

After a one night stand Abigale and Jordan go from lover to enemies to parents. When Abigale ends up pregnant after a one night stand, she has no idea that her baby daddy happens to be the son of her fathers greatest enemy. Jordan has just signed off on the biggest deal of his life, but when he finds out his one night stand is pregnant she must be after his money right? Mistaken identity, and lots of laughs Bad Night Stand is one hell of an entertaining read. Elise Faber’s beautiful and emotional writing will have you hooked! I could not put this book down and I cannot wait for more!
An excellent rom-com, with a heroine who always prepares herself for the worst possible outcome and a hero that can’t seem to get things right with her.
From the moment Jordan approached Abby at the bar, he got off on the wrong foot. She assumed he was there to hit on her friend. When he finally convinced her otherwise, she took him home for the night. Which siding turn out to be as long as she expected. Before she gets that spectacular finish she’s expecting, he’s out the door, not to be heard from for another two months.
When he finally reappears, he blunders again, but ends up coming to the rescue when she passes out on him. At the hospital, they find out together that their lackluster one-night stand combined with a failed IUD has resulted in a consequence neither of them is prepared for.
And the hits keep coming. Jordan, accustomed to gold diggers and all sorts of tactics to extort money out of him or his Father, assumes the worst and fumbles big time. Soon enough he realizes his mistake: Abby doesn’t need him, and now she doesn’t WANT him, either. But, despite the obstacles between them, several of his own making, and more from their damaging childhoods, he can’t seem to stop wanting her. In fact, feisty Abby Roberts might be just what he needs in his life.
Now, if only he can convince Abby of that before she writes him off entirely, or her lawyer badgers him into removing himself from the picture.
Bad Night Stand has moments that will leaving you laughing, crying, and swooning in turn. The characters are utterly relatable and completely unforgettable. And if you don’t believe me, pick it up and check it out for yourself. You won’t want to put it down until Jordan and Abby sort themselves out, and they’ll keep you on tenterhooks until the very end!
Bad Night Stand by Elise Faber is the First book in the Billionaire’s Club series. This is the story of Jordan and Abby.
Jordan and Abby meet and have a quick encounter so much so that she doesn’t ‘finish’ before he gets a phone call and leaves. They end up meeting again and slowly she learns there was an emergency as to why he left. That night had lasting impact on them both mentally and now physically.
Really enjoyed reading their story.
What a sweet, complicated, love-turned-on-its-head romance. I loved Abby’s character and her strong friendships with Seraphina and Bec. The romance is filled with ups and downs that will have you cheering for the couple while also empathizing with the challenges they have to navigate. Hunter is also such a special part of the story and will warm your heart. The story is well-written and she has a way of capturing all the little moments that really bring the story to life. I really enjoyed the story and look forward to the possibility of Cecilia’s in the future.
My first by Faber, this was a good story, slightly far fetched in some areas, him getting up and leaving without a word…yeah,no! It had a bit of humor, a bit of drama…eh! I put it aside several times to read other books, so not sure if I will give this author another try.
I think this is my new favorite book by Ms Faber!!!! I don’t want to post spoilers so all I will say is the misunderstandings and the interactions between the H/h made me laugh and kept me very interested in the story. I can’t wait for book 2!!!
