From the New York Times bestselling author of Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls comes a stylish thriller about the darkness that lurks inside all of us. When I looked up, his smile was wide and real. “Ready?” he said. I faked a smile back. I had gotten so good at faking things. I thought: You brought this on yourself, Sasha. He squeezed my hand again. He couldn’t begin to imagine what this actually was. He had no idea what I’d done. What any of us had.

**Book Review of Bad Girls With Perfect Faces ** Thanks to @bookishhq for a copy of the book.
What starts off as teen rivalry kind of stuff, quickly turns into something much darker and sinister. It’s a psychological thriller in my opinion.
Sasha wants to protect her best friend Xavier from basically anything that would cause him harm either physically or psychologically, especially from something horrific he may have done. She does this, however, at her own peril and at the risk of her own sanity for goodness sake! Xavier seems like he’s been treated like a baby just a bit too much. You know what I mean? Sasha should have never protected him because she put herself in the middle of a horrible situation. We’re talking life altering major consequences, and it’s just not worth it. Let him live with his actions and their consequences instead of shielding him. Xavier needed a reality check long before he actually got one. And, possibly a good slap across the face for just checking out and putting a giant burden on Sasha. Now, she forever feels responsible for him. Seriously, this guy is oblivious to what’s actually happening in reality all around him. He also plays dumb and ignores everything. Honestly, I started to hate Sasha for her stupidity and Xavier for his naivety and ignorance. But, the story was redeemed! I was genuinely surprised by that twist at the end. No spoilers. I really didn’t consider that situation at all. That was a great way to wrap things up quite neatly. I was sad, though, at where everyone ended up. Kind of wished for more after the fact, so to speak. Anyway, it’s a very intriguing story overall. I recommend it. Bad Girls With Perfect Faces is a fast and thrilling read.

This was an entertaining read. Although I really liked the plot twist at the end of the story, this was just one of those books that I will probably soon forget I read.
I definitely liked the characters, I thought they were unique and different and intriguing. I thought the author did a perfect job with Ivy, she was the most compelling character of all.
I thought the plot was a cool concept, and definitely took twists that I didn’t see coming.
The writing was good, there was a lot of quotable moments throughout the story and a lot of analogies that I could relate to.
I didn’t find anything bad with this book… but I also didn’t find anything extraordinary. Would I recommend it? I mean yeah sure it’s definitely a time killer, and the story isn’t rip-your-eyes-out boring. I would shelve this as just a good book, and leave it at that. Nothing more, nothing less.
I absolutely loved everything about this book!
It’s my new favorite, I read it in only a couple of hours.
Bad Girls with Perfect Faces is the type of story that’s hard to summarize without giving away details so I’ll just say if you’re a fan of psychological, thriller, YA, and suspense check it out! You will not be disappointed!
