The boy next door.Star of my teenage fantasies. My tormentor. After serving as an army doctor in some of the most dangerous places on Earth, Brandon has finally come home. And he’s brought his cocky, alpha attitude and rugged good looks with him. To my hospital. He’s still a loose cannon and I’m right in his sights. But instead of begging for him to stop, this good girl is having to stop herself … instead of begging for him to stop, this good girl is having to stop herself from begging for more.
I thought I put my obsession with this moody bad boy to bed.
It now appears that’s right where he wants me.
I’ve always made good choices.
But this time I’m worried I’ll pick the one that’s bad for me, even if Brandon feels oh so right.
‘Bad for You’ is a sweet and sexy romance featuring a bully turned military hero and a smarty-pants girl next door on a twisted road to happily ever after. It stands alone with no cheating, cliffhangers, or nonsense.

Aimee was bullied in high school but had a crush on one of the boys, Brandon. But he never reciprocated so that went nowhere. But the bullying really impacted her. So when she finds out that Brandon has returned and is now working at the same hospital. So she thinks she can avoid him. That wasn’t as easy as she thinks. Plus he doesn’t seem to think no means no. These two have issues which runs deep. Yet they are drawn to each other and can’t seem to fight it.

This is the third installment of this hospital series from the author, and so reading this book really wrapped up some lingering questions I had when reading the other two. With that in mind, this book can definitely be read as a standalone. Both Aimee and Brandon grew up together, but had very different up bringings. When their lives intersect again as adults, its no wonder that they hate each other (and really, Aimee detests Brandon). At the same time, its all the more reason why they are likely to fall in love. Even though they both have different agenda’s from their working together, they end up having each others’ backs in the end, and learn to get along and more. At times the writing can be a bit choppy, however it doesn’t detract from the story and I did overall enjoy this book and look forward to more from this author.

The last time Aimee saw Brandon he was mean, cruel and a bully – her crush on him turned to hatred and stayed that way for years… when he suddenly and shockingly returns as an employee under her supervision, she has to learn to tolerate him, and the intense attraction that hits them both. Brandon has returned to his hometown – and his father’s hospital – but not by choice. He’s angry and taking it out on everyone – including Aimee. They can’t deny their chemistry though – and soon enough, emotions are involved as they work through their painful past and current secrets, on their way to a potential future… I enjoyed this intense and emotional story with a HEA, would recommend!!
Wow! What a phenomenal new book form Taylor Holloway. Brandon is an army doctor who returns home. Aimee is an ER doctor who was always book smart and a pain in Brandon’s rear end. As teenagers Brandon makes Aimee’s life a nightmare now as adults and colleagues their enemies relationship has turned lovers. Bad for You is a sexy captivating must read that readers won’t be able to get enough of with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. I absolutely loved this new book from Taylor Holloway, it was filled with an angered high school bully turned honored military doctor and a wall flower turned confident doctor, passion, grudges, health secrets, and love. I can’t wait to read more from Taylor Holloway.

Brandon and Aimee have a past, a very uncomfortable and unfortunate past. She was a child prodigy way ahead of her class in school and he was a spoiled rich kid. Her mother took care of his mother so they were thrown together at every turn. Aimee had a huge crush on him but Brandon was pretty awful to her. Even though he bullied her, he didn’t let his friends do it, until it all went wrong. Thirteen years later and both are doctors practicing in the same hospital. There are strong feelings between them but can Aimee trust that his intentions are good? After all, he’ll do just about anything to antagonize his father. Bad For You is a wonderfully crafted book that creates and holds its mood, pace and form from the first page to the last. Enjoy!
The storyline was well written and the characters were so well detailed that as I turned each and every page I felt like Aimee and Brandon jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
I very much enjoyed this book. Both Brandon and Aimee drove me crazy with their back and forth but you see them slowly start to breakdown the hurt and grab their HEA. I’m excited to see what happens with Lucy.
Bad for you is a delightful, interesting and moving story. This story was well developed and well written. It has a wonderful storyline. I enjoyed reading about Brandon and Aimee. This story will pull you in and it is a page turner.
I have read and reviewed an Advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
ONE ENTHRALLING WONDER!!!
Kaboom baby! Taylor weaves a tangled web until we’re cacooned so thoroughly riding a razors edge that hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration. Combating the trials and tribulations along with a multitude of plot twists and turns that leave you breathless craving more. Sparks fly as the chemistry sizzles, intense drama and intrigue propel this spinning bad boy to life beautifully. Throw in distress and turmoil and you have the recipe for one block busting, prize winning dynamo. This bad boy showcases 100% on point realism, kicking up a churning vortex chocked-full of vexing circumstances and a slew of surprising events that keep you flipping page after page. The characters personalities are authentic and realistic with depth and traits that rock this baby to its core. The scenes are described so colorfully you have no trouble interpreting each scenario as they play off one another smoothly. Remarkable job Taylor, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
I absolutely adore a wonderfully crafted romances, and The Lone Star Lovers Series is jam packed with nothing but superbly designed books.
Bad For You is Ms. Taylor Holloway’s latest installment to this series. I found it exceptionally easy to envision these characters and the storyline was full if ups & downs & emotional highs & lows. I was compelled from the first page, to keep on reading; finding myself engrossed in Brandon and Aimee’s quest to their happily ever after. He was her bully & now he’s back and cockier then ever. These two Doctors are about to steam up your e-reader with their heat & chemistry. Can they let go of the past & obtain their future together? Find out right here, in this superbly designed book.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader’s copy of Bad For You in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I couldn’t recommend it more. I truly love this Series & can not wait for the next installment.
Enemies to Lovers Storyline Works!
A great story with relevant issues included in the storyline. The characters, Aimee and Brandon are doctors caught up in a love/hate relationship. Throw in Brandon’s father who is the CMO of the hospital who is mentoring Aimee to take over and is not fond of his own son and there’s twists and turns abound.
The writer does an excellent job at holding the reader’s interest from cover to cover and includes a sneak peak into the next book, which is always a plus.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.
I received this ARC from “Bad Boy Update” for my honest review so I’m leaving this for your consideration. Peace.
Aimee Ford has made it no secret she loathes Brandon with a passion. In past books we have been on the sidelines of their battles, but now we finally get to learn why. As teenagers Aimee and Brandon were forced together under tense and devastating circumstances and Brandon made it his goal in life to make Aimees life as miserable as possible. Now 13 years later they are once again thrust together when Brandon is sent to Texas to work at Aimees hospital. Things are definitely tense with these two and past hurts are hard to get over. Their chemistry is electric and soon impossible to ignore but not everything is easy for these two between outside influences trying to destroy Aimee and Brandons return to the army looming will they be able to learn to love and trust one another or will fear keep them from their hea? This was a sweet book about growing up and getting a second chance at something real. I can not wait to ready Lucys story.

Taylor Holloway was a new-to-me author when I picked up Bad for You. I always go into books by new-to-me authors a little jaded. Sometimes I win. Sometimes I lose. Bad for You was an absolute winner!
Brandon and Aimee shared a past. For her, it was a past full of bullying, degradation, and at times bordered on sexual assault all because she was a child prodigy in a school full of spoiled rich kids. And because she wasn’t in the same economic/social class as her schoolmates. Brandon, however, was the golden boy. And Aimee’s not-so-secret crush.
Fast forward 13 years and Brandon and Aimee are forced to work together in the same hospital. They still pretty much loathe each other, but like we know…there’s a thin line between hate and love. Which side will they end up on?
It’s always a good sign when a book has me hooked by the end of the prologue, and Bad for You had me hooked by about the 2nd paragraph. The writer’s voice really resonated with me. And at the end of the prologue, I just wanted to scoop Aimee up and give her a big hug and tell her one day those guys would eat their words! And as far as Brandon…I was kind of on the fence between giving him a good smack to the back of the head and cheering for him. At times I really did want to do a little of both.
NICUnurse’s Rating: I’ll admit. I could not put this book down. I’m a fixer by nature and this book was uber angsty to me because I wanted to jump in and fix everyone and everything. Thankfully, the author did it for me or there may have been a toddler-like temper tantrum! These two characters were just meant to be together but there were literally decades of hurt, as well as abandonment issues and hostility, to have to work through. If you love enemies to lovers romance books that are chocked full of angst, this book will be your next favorite! I give Bad for You by Taylor Holloway 4.75 out of 5 stars!
I loved Aimee and Brandon’s story! Brandon tormented Aimee when they were younger. She think she is just cruel and insensitive, but she doesn’t realize the turmoil inside him. Fast forward 13 years later and he shows up at the hospital where she, and his father, work. His is a Major and a DR in the Army and is posted to Texas for what he thinks is only 6 months. To him it will be six months in hell, especially if he has to report to his father. He had no idea Aimee became a Dr and will be working there too. All of a sudden the 6 months isn’t that totally awful. He just has to make her see that is sorry for being an total jerk to her and get her to admit the attraction that is there. This is a story about regret, guilt, forgiveness and a love that can’t be denied. Loved it!!!
If laughter is the best medicine, Bad For You has just the right amount to keep readers on their toes. Holloway brings the humor with a hint of heartache to a dazzling duo of complicated. What happens the bully from your youth becomes the bane of your adult existence? Sparks fly, temptation flares and drama ensues. Sweet and sassy meets hot and bothered. Deliously, tasty bad romance.
Awesome!!! Full of all sorts of tension, drama, action packed! Great characters and intense storyline.

An absolutely fabulous fun read! This story is full of excitement, ups and downs, and back and forth! So well written with dialogue that is sharp and witty; with a plot that is well developed and consistent. The amazingly hot chemistry between Aimee and Brandon will melt your kindle. This is one book you will not regret reading. A MUST READ!

This is a wonderful well-written story, the storyline is fast-paced and emotional, my heart went out to a the young Aimee, was delighted to see she grew up to be a strong independent woman. Brandon was also a great character, he grew up to be a strong man. He has some serious family issues with his father but getting together with his childhood enemy has made him change in ways he didn’t know he could.
Highly entertaining story, definitely recommended.
