From New York Times bestselling author Shanora Williams comes a deliciously sinful standalone Motorcycle Club romance with twists you won’t see coming…There’s a myth that floats around in my city. They say the president of the local biker gang is ruthless, heartless, and that once you cross him, you’ll spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder. There are whispers that he was once … are whispers that he was once lost in a forest, and when he was found, he was surrounded by a pack of wolves that were protecting him.
Many will tell you he’d never let his guard down for a woman, and that if he ever did, it would be bad for her.
The one thing this city doesn’t know about me is that I’m not your average woman. I’m a fighter, and when someone messes with my family, I will fight, and when my freedom is stolen, I will do whatever it takes to get it back.
When I’m done with him, the rumors will come to an end because I’ll be the woman who tamed this infamous biker president.
I’ll be the woman who, in the end, was bad for him.

So I love I the author’s writing in general, but I was totally intrigued because MC books are normally not her genre. I loved the dance between both of these characters. Wolf who is so badass Alpha, holds the respect of his own and the neighboring clubs leaves you to know that his story is deep, that title doesn’t come easy. I loved how feisty Nova is and importance of family is not only your blood but those who are not blood and just how similar it really is, life in the club means everything to the members.. I could never imagine the spin to the story and how all these characters go together. It is intense but I feel this was written with the right amount of angst, heat, and honestly a bit of a thriller.. You do not expect what these people have been through to be in into each others’ lives.. I love the ladies of this club, they made the atmosphere so awesome to read you wouldn’t mind hanging out with these girls…. I hope there is more to come with a few of the other club members. This book is standalone, but I hope there is more to come of this group. I received a copy in exchange for a honest review.
Shanora Williams brings her A-game in this new genre for her: the incredibly raw and gritty world of MC.
With a divine Prez in Wolf, Nova tries her hardest to tame the wild beast and finds herself in more trouble than she ever bargained for. Nova is one bada$$ heroine, always pushing the limits which in turn makes Wolf want to both devour and throttle her. She has no fear of the big bad Wolf and that just drives him more to attempt to keep her at bay, which might just be the only fight he ever considers losing. His heart simply never stood a chance with Nova and her feisty ways and for that, you can’t help but adore her.
There is plenty of excitement and a whole ton of intensity as these two enjoy a battle of wills all the while falling for the other, something neither one ever wanted. But their insane chemistry leads to a passion that is undeniable and full of heat that had me fanning myself and often.
With the Lords of Chaos and the club girls rounding out this story, there is plenty of action both in and out of the bedroom and clubhouse with jaw-dropping revelations and crazy a$$ situations that kept me riveted with every turn of the page.
I love that Williams wrote something a bit out of her usual and created this book the way she wanted to, seemingly having one heck of a good time telling this tale.
Bad For Me is one wild ride and yet, I am not ready to let go of Wolf, Nova and the rest of this crew. I look forward to more since those Lords of Chaos clearly have taken my heart hostage.
5 stars!
3.5 stars
Bad For Me was my first book by Shanora Williams but with my addiction to MC novels, I felt somewhat confident going in. I understand this is Ms. Williams’ first MC book, as well. While the backstory was layered and complex, the book missed the mark on some of my favorite elements of MC books, specifically the brotherhood and family that permeates most club books. In Bad for Me, these bikers don’t even seem to like each other, with constant challenging of the president (who honestly wasn’t much of a leader, IMO), constant infighting, etc. The lack of brotherhood and camaraderie was a critical miss for me. While most MC novels are dark and gritty, they’re generally layered with family, loyalty (beyond obligation) and cutting up (laughter). In my humble opinion, the darker the subject matter, the more those elements are needed. In addition, the story between Wolf and Nova took too long to develop (it was around the 80% mark before any true feelings were involved)so while I felt badly for all they’d experienced, I wasn’t invested in their happily ever after.
I know that Ms. Williams is an accomplished and sought after author. To me this was a good freshman effort into the MC genre. With her storylines and characters, I’d be interested in seeing what else she creates down the line.

You would never know this was Shanora’s first MC Romance. It was fantastic.
I really loved Wolf’s character and the club backstory was well written. Nova was a definite handful. We got plot twists and violence you’d expect in your MC Romance. Definitely hoping we get more stories from these characters. I had a particular soft spot for Sniper.
This book – Shanora Williams has another amazing book on her hands that will make you hot and squirmy! This book is unlike anything she has written and it will enthrall you from the first word. It was a definitely a book that was devoured and not able to be put down.
The characters – Wolf is such a butthole – Nova is sweet and naive – but will be one Badass woman that stands up for what is right. Let me put it this way – no one messes with her family. What starts as trying to manipulate turns into so much more. This story was hot and dirty and everything in between.
Shanora Williams is amazing when it comes to writing any kind of romance book!!
A must buy and a 5 star read that will blow your mind!!
Shanora Williams is so talented! Bad for Me took me on a ride for sure!
4.5 stars. I love the MC world Shanora created. Nova is a photographer and Wolf is a motorcycle club leader. They are very different people that have come together because of an unusual circumstance. Wolf doesn’t have much to say, but the budding romance is palpable and you are rooting for them to be together. The book is action packed and takes some very surprising turns. I was so shocked with some of the plot twists! Very well done.
BAM! She does it again! Another great book released into the book world.
Shanora Williams is what I consider one of my great finds of 2019!
Took a little detour into the MC world…I’ll admit I’m walking away from this book in awe. I never doubted her ability to write from a world she hasn’t written from before but I am shocked that I loved every little thing about this book. MC isn’t really my thing but Shanora Williams books definitely are! So no way was this beauty going to slip by without me diving into it and I’m so glad I did. She didn’t dive as deep into this world as many authors do but added just enough emotion into this gripping MC Romance novel to suck me in.
Nova has dealt with all the people in her life disappointing and abandoning her little brother Silas and her. Even though he’s technically an adult she still feels very responsible for him and she’s okay with that. She’s made it her mission to never abandon him or make him feel that way after them both dealing with it their entire lives. This is exactly how she finds herself in a bad position because of Silas. A situation that leaves her in debt to the hot as sin biker President of The Lords of Chaos. Wolf is loyal to no one but his club. He’s closed off to almost everyone, dependent on absolutely no one and most definitely one intimidating biker! He’s never succumbed to a woman before but then again he’s never met anyone like Nova.
The relationship between these two is steamy, challenging and destined for more than either ever wanted or thought they needed.
Warning you now: Shanora is going to leave you wanting your own Wolf!
Man oh man Shanora really nails it again with Bad For Me. This is her first MC book and I was genuinely excited to hear she was writing one. MC books are some of my favorite IF they are written well. Bad For Me was written VERY well. Plus Shanora writes some of the best bad boys ever. I never know if I am going to love them or hate them.
I don’t want to give to much away with Bad For Me, I really feel its one of those books you have to experience for yourself. I will say the characters are phenomenal, they are all so well written.
Nova is such a bada$$ heroine, this girl is tough as nails, stubborn, and takes no crap from the big bad Prez Wolf. She is fiercely independent and not a doormat of a character which I love and find refreshing since it seems like that’s all we get now a days.
Then we have the President of the Lords of Chaos himself, Wolf. This man is arrogant, cocky, and a total bad boy of a man gets knocked on his butt by Nova. Wolf doesn’t know what to do with her and the two buttheads because he may have finally met his match with the fiery headstrong woman.
This story is both sexy and action packed, with a twist. I whole heartily loved this story and only wish we got more of Wolf. I wish we would have had his POV I would have loved to be inside his head.
Overall the story was wonderfully written and the characters are all great. I cant wait to see more from the Lords of Chaos. I feel Nova’s presence has shaken up the club so I would really love to see where this goes. And of course I really want more of Wolf and Nova, I love these two.
5 stars!!
Oh boy! Where to start! This book was so damn good and one of the best MC books in my opinion. I spent the majority of the book going between wanting to kill Wolf with my bare hands and loving him. Nova was a total bad ass willing to do anything to save her brother. And don’t even get me started on that twist! Holy I didn’t see it coming!
“He may seem like he’s no good for me—that he’s bad for me—but when we’re alone, all I receive from him is the good.”
I wasn’t ready for Bad For Me! I finished it last night and woke up thinking about Nova and Wolf.
This book was everything! I seriously can’t believe Shanora’s never written MC romance before. She’s a freaking natural. The emotion. The grittiness. The sex. This book had everything an MC romance needs, and it was easily one of my favorites of the year.
Nova is my type of heroine. She was a take no shit, protect my family at all costs type of girl. I loveeee when a girl can hold her own, and not cower to nobody, especially a man. I loved her relationship with her brother. She was his protector and I love that Shanora decided to have it that way, than the norm of having the brother be the protector. It added more to Nova’s character, which only made me love her more!
Wolf. Wolf. WOLF. I LOVED WOLF! He was such a beast of a man. As the prez of his club, he wasn’t your normal MC hero. He wasn’t the type that had sex with every club whore, he kept to himself. He had this intimidating dominating aura surrounding him throughout the story. He was alpha. Sexy. Hard. No-one messed with him, and those who did paid for that.
The tension between Wolf and Nova freaking KILLED ME. They kept me on my toes, heart beating fast throughout the entire story.
I loved everything about this story. Shanora killed it with this MC romance! I NEED MORE!
<3
Wolf and Nova are one of a kind. I loved their chemistry and their connection. From the very start you feel that it sucks you in. I love a great MC read and this was up there Wolf was everything you needed he was cunning, hard, vicious, strong and even had that sweet side to fall hard for.
Nova was strong and boy she didnt take any crap and I loved that about her. She brought out Wolf’s softer side and it made the story more real, more lovable.
The twists in this story keep you captivated through out and it holds a light that you never want to burn out. Wolf was one hot biker and boy did he set the wheels turning.
Shanora delivers again with this epic twisted love story.
I thought I knew where this book was going to go, but boy was I wrong. Shanora takes you on an angst ridden journey of EPIC proportions, with a twist you will not see coming!
**He’s the man who stole my right to live freely. And now, I’m going to steal his vicious beating heart.**
Wolf is the quintessential MC President. I got a lot of Jax from Sons of Anarchy vibes from him. He’s the man that everyone around town knows. They all steer clear of him, due to his intimidating nature and his hair trigger temper. He rules the town and those in it with an iron fist. He exudes complete and utter Alpha Male. Every time he’s in a room everyone takes note. And his club has his back no matter what no question’s asked. He doesn’t like to be touch and he always likes to be in control and control those around him, he needs that power.
**“There he is,” I purr. This is the side of him I’ve been looking for. The primal, hungry side of him that can’t resist the perfect seduction.**
Nova is a free spirit, she doesn’t want to be tied down and she doesn’t want to have any more responsibilities than she already has. She takes care of herself and her brother and she’s good with that. She absolutely does not like being told what to do, and she doesn’t like to feel like she can’t escape if she want’s too. Her strength of character and her fierceness lead to so many confrontations with her and wolf. Their push and pull was deliciously steamy and tension filled. The connection between them was potent to say the least, and you knew when they got together it would be pure fire. Shanora did not disappoint. They almost melted my Kindle with the heat between them.
**I won’t lie, it feels like home. I feel safe. Protected. I feel like I am his, and he is mine. And, at the end of the day, that’s all I wanted.**
This story is a non-stop ride full of all the action and angst you can handle. Shanora has created a legit MC experience that you will fall in love with. Nova and Wolf are perfect, the dynamics between them can be felt through the pages, they didn’t feel forced or fake, everything between them felt real and alive. So, if you like MC romance than this story is most definitely for you. So buckle up and enjoy the ride that is Wolf, you will not be disappointed.
WOW!! Is a word I can use to describe BAD for me! I will be honest and say, I’m not a big fan of MC books, but I’m a HUGE fan of Shanora’s words.
This book was unexpectedly exciting…. Had me on the edge of my seat….
The Chemistry between Wolf and Nova made me SWOON!! It was hard for me to wrap my mind around just a single point of view, but I think Shanora did a great job of capturing the essence of this story…. and their connection!
Can’t wait for future stories from these two. Good Job Shanora!!
Shanora Williams latest stand alone romance Bad For Me was a fast-paced, suspenseful, page-turner that had me hooked from beginning to end. The chemistry between the two main characters was explosive and intense and the storyline with its deception, lies secrets and twists left me speechless. This MC story was violent, raw and brutal as the author gives us a look into the MC life. It was a well written, nail biting tale that I enjoyed and would highly recommend it to all lovers of MC romance.
Overall, I thought Bad for Me was an enjoyable read. Nova and Wolf come from similar backgrounds yet the roads each took to better themselves couldn’t have been further apart. I liked Nova. She’s sassy and independent. For the most part she knows what she wants and doesn’t just go with things just because it sounds nice. I appreciated that she didn’t have a filter and said what she meant no matter who may get hurt in the process. I also admire what she was doing for her brother as not many would in her position. The mystery around Wolf definitely kept my interest as well and Shanora left crumbles here and there that kept you wanting more as you read. Nova and Wolf together was like a stick of dynamite. They were explosive whether they were arguing or otherwise. And while Wolf did everything he could to keep her at a distance, Nova was just the woman to reel him in. There was no resisting her. That said, I felt like the beginning was a little slow and while there were quite a few twists some were predictable. I did like some of the supporting characters as well though so I’m curious to see if we get more from this MC world that Shanora has created.
Man. I love me some Shanora Williams. I’ve seriously never met a book of hers I haven’t liked. I will admit, I was kind of nervous to see an MC book (they’re just not my fave) but I’m so glad I took a chance on Nova and Wolf.
I ran the whole spectrum of emotions with this book but ultimately I’m going with this book is definitely one that will keep you reading and absolutely having you thinking, “did that actually just happen?!”
Just stay away from my man, Wolf.
I really enjoyed this book, it took me a little while to get into but once i did it was a good read!
I absolutely loved Wolf even in the beginning when he was all silent and broody and then i loved him even more when started speaking more.
Nova it took me a little longer to like her, at the beginning i wasn’t her biggest fan i didn’t particularly care for how she come across but then like a flip of a switch she kinda changed into someone i liked.
I liked the secondary characters too like Empress and Thickems and some of the others, their stories intrigued me aswell.
The Wolf and his Lamb
I loved this book! There were so many twists I didn’t see coming. Nova was a strong heroine and I really liked her. Wolf was the strong silent type but when he finally let Nova in I fell hard for him. I enjoyed these characters and I can’t wait for more of the Lords.
Wow I mean wow this book gave me all kind of emotions. Let me tell you Wolf is not your typical hero, he is very different and very alpha jerk attitude, he gave me so many emotions, first damn hes so sexy and broody, second okay I wanna slap him, third just awe. His story is deep and I just loved reading about him and going through the motions with him. Nova where do I start? She is not your typical heroine, she is fierce, has a back bone, doesn’t take any crap, but also she is selfless. I loved reading her she put me through the motions as well, she puts up a big fight, doesnt take wolf’s ways she isnt afraid to put him in his place I loved it! This whole story was just amazing and such a fun read, I couldnt stop when I did take a break I couldnt stop thinking about these characters. This author knows how to write really amazing books I never have read one that I was bored in, I just love her writing and can not wait until her next story she has to tell.
