Sera used to believe in happily ever afters.Well, she still believed in them. Just not for her.For Seraphina Delgado, finding a man who loved her for who she was inside, rather than simply appreciating her outward appearance, had proved to be impossible. She wasn’t trying to be cocky—cock, ha¬—but she was beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, that she’d spent her childhood and tween years modeling and … and tween years modeling and shooting commercials and . . . well, only being appreciated for the way she looked.
And that was more curse than advantage because looks faded. People aged, wrinkles formed, boobs sagged . . .
Anyway, none of that mattered because no man ever saw who she truly was on the inside.
Until Tate.
He was more interested in software than her cup size and had hired her to help him find a house. He didn’t care about her looks or her boobs, only her abilities as a real estate agent.
But then he showed up in her office with a crazy proposition. One so crazy, it almost made sense.
He wanted them to get married.
And Sera thought she just might agree.

Bad Fiancé is book 6 in the Billionaire’s Club series by Elise Faber. This is about Tate and Sera’s story. This was an fabulous
fake fiancé romance. The main characters are relatable and sweet. The chemistry between them is sensational and sexy. I enjoyed the fake relationship that it started off as and how it ended up was so real. There was amazing twists. This is a standalone story in the Billionaire’s Club series. I definitely recommend this standout read. I loved Tate and Sera’s love story!! The writing was outstanding and the chemistry is sizzling.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
I received a review copy before release for an honest review.
This is part of the series but easily stands alone. This is book #6 and stars Seraphina Delgado who is from a rich family and is beautiful. However everyone sees her as this gorgeous, sweet woman and don’t see her as someone who can cuss and be do bad things too.
Tate is a nerd, a rich billionaire nerd and he has a hug crush on Sera but he thinks she is out of his league. He also is afraid she will use him like his ex did and his family does for his brain and his money but not his heart.
The story begins as Tate comes to Sera and begs her to be his fake fiancée. He doesn’t need her money but he needs her blue blood to get an investor for an app he invented. But when Sera’s mother gets involved, the fake turns into reality and we get to watch these two misfits fall in love.
This is a novella size story but its a full length and sweet romance and I highly enjoyed it.
haaaaappy sigh people, HAPPY SIGH !!
This story delivered in all the swoony ways you can think of!
The story is fun and unexpected and both Sera and Tate were gloriously delightful to get lost in for an afternoon!
Go forth and enjoy!!
Also, ya’ll know how ridic I can be about reading series from the beginning etc etc etc … You don’t have to for this one 🙂
This is the first book of this series that I have read and I liked it. I didn’t feel lost even though I didn’t read the first 5 of the series. Sera and Tate were a cute couple. What started out as a fake relationship blossomed into something much more real and I really enjoyed watching them discover what was in front of them the whole time. It was a quick read that will leave you with a smile on your face.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have serious fallen in love with this series. Each book just gets better and better. The only sad part is that they are so short. I would love a “this is where they are now” book at the end. This is Seraphina’s book and I have been looking forward to it for awhile now. All her friends are coupled up. She needs her HEA as well. And it’s a dream HEA come true! Sera fell for Tate but he never seemed interested in her. He rebuked her suggested listings every time, or just didn’t show up to appointments making her feel like she was easily forgettable. However the moment finally comes when he needs something from her and he can’t stop until he gets it. These two start out as “fake” engaged but that doesn’t stop them from falling in love. Tate is Sera’s savior and Sera is Tate’s dream come true. The emotions this book evoked in me had me constantly turning the page. I didn’t want to feel the hurt and pain that had been inflicted on them. I wanted them happy and with each other. Luckily I got my wish. These two have become my new favorite Faber couple. It may be hard to top them. But then again we did have that tease of an epilogue. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
I absolutely loved this book and this series! I loved Seraphina(Sera) and Tate’s story! It was an entertaining fake fiancé romance. After showing Tate several homes that he didn’t like Sera handed him off to another realtor. She didn’t know he just wanted to spend time with her. So a few months later he showed up and asked her to marry him. He needed a fiancé to help him with his project. I loved how Tate wasn’t perfect. He was an awkward nerd that was better with a computer than people.
Bad Fiancé is a story of a fake relationship that turns into a real one! They made a great couple! I throughly enjoyed it! I’m sure you will too!
I thought that this quick read romance was very enjoyable. I felt that the story was quite fun and cute. The characters were very likable easy to root for. The attraction between Sera and Tate really sparked and I thought that they made a great couple. I truly loved how different they were and yet so similar in the way that they felt the need to wear masks around other people. A simply delightful read!
Sera used to believe in the fantasy, until reality forced her to grow up. When the chance of a lifetime crosses her path, he could be the wake-up call her sheltered heart needs. Bad Fiance takes a few cues from childhood fairytales, but paves it’s own way when it comes to tempting romance. Faber takes a duo of anti heroes and turns them into a modern day game changer. Sera and Tate are a reminder that just because we grow up, doesn’t mean we have to give up on our dreams.
If you have been following along with the Billionaire’s series then you know who Sera is. If not no worries the only thing you’re missing out on is getting to know her fabulous friends from the start. I love Sera and the new side of her. Even though this was a quick read you still get plenty of everything. You feel for her with how her mother is. You will fall for the awkwardness of Tate. Sera and Tate just have this chemistry that you will love. There is this wonderful fight of attraction that will make you smile. Tate is just this guy that is too smart for his own good and it shows with how awkward he is when it comes to talking to Sera. But you just love him for how he is. I loved every moment of this one.
This was an interesting book from beginning to end. I absolutely love this series even if I have only read two of the books. This one is about Seraphine who is a very hard working realtor. She has been working extremely hard with a very difficult client Tate Conner. There was instant chemistry or so she believed when they first meet but he has been a pain ever since. He is now back in her life after a couple of months and wants the unthinkable from her. Will she agree to this crazy plan? Will these two end up actually falling in love? I loved these two together. You can easily see the chemistry that they have. I absolutely dislike Seraphine’s mom and how she treats her. This was a great book and I cant wait to read more from this series.
