LoganFrom the moment we met, I despised Leah as much as she hated me. It only made matters worse when my mother became involved with her father. So, ten years ago, I moved away. But when I come back for the big anniversary party, the rivalry has disappeared and we’re being congratulated for putting aside our differences. What they don’t know is that if I get my way, tonight we’ll be sharing a … sharing a room…
Leah
From the moment we met, I did everything to get Logan’s attention. All that he’d direct toward me were mean pranks often leaving me in tears. Even when he left for ten years, I still tried to get his attention. It took me a long time before I finally gave up. When Logan shows up unannounced for the big anniversary party, I expect the worst case of rivalry yet, but instead, we’re actually getting along, and everyone is thrilled. And when I end up finding out the truth of why he is back, it shocks me to my core

I tend to shy away from the step sibling tropes because I can never see them working out well. Because, logic…but SL made this work and I enjoyed the slow intense burn that was created by these characters. I didn’t put it down the entire time I spent reading. Logan and Leah have such an amazing chemistry despite their unfortunate forces familial circumstances. Their bickering and banter made for good dialogue. Their stolen moments and glimpses of passion kept you anticipating more until they finally hit the precipice. I loved watching them figure out their feelings even though there a few moments where slapping them both seemed like a good option. The acceptance of their feelings and subsequent relationship made for a good read in the end.
Leah and Logan were attracted to each other in high school, and when their parents decide to get married, they are caught between a rock and a hard place. Now 10 years later Logan is back unexpectedly, but will they be able to deny the chemistry between them? This is a well written story which is an enemies / lovers scenario, and I was intrigued and hooked throughout. I recommend for all readers.

This is a stepsibling romance with a touch of enemies to lovers.
Logan couldn’t stand Leah from the moment he met her but the feelings were mutual… or were they? Then to top it off, their parents started dating and ended up marrying. Logan moves away for 10 years but comes back for the parents big anniversary party. He expects the rivalry to still be there but it isn’t. In its place is a bit of chemistry, and Logan wants Leah underneath him, in his bed. Then Logan tells her it’s just a fling. Of course Leah is heartbroken. When the need arises for Logan to get an interior designer for his home, he wants this new interior designer. He doesn’t realize it’s Leah because it isn’t her name. All he knows is she has a reputation for doing amazing work. Leah finds out it’s him and tries to get out of doing it. Will she be able to get out of it? Will Logan get his way?
This book is a little bit of a slow burn with angst, push and pull, and steamy scenes. I love the stepbrother trope! This was a good, entertaining read. Some of it was predictable but the plot was overall good. I enjoyed this read and recommend reading it.

Enemies to lovers/ step-siblings romance. Steamy read, somewhat predictable but enjoyable. It’s developed into a years span since they met until they’re finally together.

This book was a slow burn. Logan’s mother marries Leah’s father. Logan and Leah don’t get along – he teases her incessantly, and she smiles through most of it. He leaves for college in Boston, and stays to build his career there, but rarely comes home to visit. He surprises everyone by showing up for their parents’ anniversary party, and he and Leah get together just once. He goofs up, though, and makes like this means nothing. After this, they only have contact when they are at the parents’ home. They end up in the same city, and he wants her. She wants him too, but s to hurt from what happened before, so she remains cold. Eventually, the walls come down and there is a sweet HEA. This book was different than most step-sibling books because they spend all their time trying to stay away from each other, rather than trying to be together. It was a hot read!

Logan and Leah have no choice but to learn to get along after their parent’s marry each other. With Leah’s crush as her new stepbrother, she thinks they will be friends. What she didn’t expect were the teasing & mean pranks. Even though he hurt her feelings & made her cry enough times, she still missed him when he went away to college. Writing letters to him during holidays became a ritual for her, until years later she decides to not send one. After all, he never sent any replies or acknowledged receiving them. She knows it’s time to move on without him in her mind & life, just like he has done with her.
When Logan doesn’t receive his valentine letter from Leah, he panicks & decides to come home unannounced to his parent’s anniversary party Leah is throwing. He cherishes the letters he receives from Leah, and has always felt bad for mistreating her when they were younger. Now they are older & wiser, and Logan knows after one look at Leah it’s time to finally go after what he’s wanted all these years – her.
This was a good read, even if Logan was somewhat boneheaded & a jerk with Leah. But when he realizes he can’t live without her in his life, he does whatever he can to show he’s all in. Looking forward to the next book from this author!
I was surprised at how much I loved this story. Logan & Leah so good together yet they are so different. They are brought together by their parents circumstances. I really liked the story and how well it was written with fun, sexy, and enjoyable characters. A new author for me and I will definitely be reading more!
You could feel the tension coming off the pages. S.L. Sterling wrote a story that will leave you breathless.

Logan and Leah met in high school and had a immediate attraction for each other but never acknowledged it. He is the popular guy dating the cheerleader and she is the quiet shy bookish girl. When their parents started dating they were not happy and never thought they would get married but they did and now Logan tries everything he can to make Leah hate him just so he will keep his hands off her. Logan goes Boston for college and never comes back so ten years later Leah plans a Anniversary party for their parents so he comes home and before the night is over they end up in bed only for him to tell her it is just a fling. Leah is heartbroken and she has been offered a job in Boston but she doesn’t want him to know she will be living in the same city. All goes will until he designs his own home and needs a interior designer which Leah is and he hires her not knowing her name only she is new and does amazing work. Leah tries to get out of the job when she finds out it is Logan but her boss will not budge. Loved it but Logan was a bit of a jerk.

I’ve read MOST of her other books. Always enjoy a good story. This one had that with an extra juicy plot twist of step-siblings. Take one yummy slightly older step brother. Add in one slightly younger, red headed step sister, mix well. Lol. Makes for a yummy book! Cept after reading about all of Anna’s desserts….man do I want chocolate lol. Read the book. You’ll understand!
I really enjoyed this story and it flowed well. It was a perfect forbidden stepbrother/enemy to lovers romance and captured my attention from the beginning. The storyline is flawless, had depth, and was very relatable. The chemistry between Leah and Logan is undeniable and electric and I loved them together. Overall this was a fantastic read and a definite must read.

I think this was my first “hot stepbrother” book and I really enjoyed it. Logan was definitely a jerk but Leah was pretty much a doormat -although it was undeserved- in the beginning. I liked that she finally started to give some of it back to Logan. Their chemistry was explosive, but it had always been, even when it was being hidden. The tension was thrilling.
BAD Company!
Exciting and intense throughout the amazing storyline that had me spellbound enjoying the sexy hot chemistry and impacting drama. An amazing must read.
This is a well written taboo romance with strong characters in Leah and Logan. The author describes the scenes in detail and tells the story in the dual POV which I always enjoy. There’s drama, sexual tension and tons of steam. I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This a step sibling/enemy to lovers book. It was the story of Logan and Leah and you get to see how they were as teens and then 10 years will pass and you will be able to see how they are as adults and if they have changed from how they were as kids. It was a bit of slow burn but when it finally happened, it was worth the wait. The story was good, the characters were realistic and the chemistry between them was so believable. It was an overall good read.
