Kelsey Scott has never wanted anything more serious than a hookup. Work triumphs all, men are simply trainable orgasm machines, and her friends and family are everything. But with her brother’s wedding rapidly approaching and matchmaking rapidly ensuing from all angles, she decides she needs a buffer from all the “perfect Mr. Rights,” the white tulle and frumpy bridesmaid dresses, and—ick—the … and—ick—the heart-warming vows.
What she doesn’t need is Tanner.
Her ex.
The only man who ever managed to weasel his way into her heart.
And by typical male progression, the only man to break it.
She’s done with the gorgeous, chocolate-eyed man who chased her down, got her to open up, and then promptly tossed her aside. She’s done with letting anyone past the barbed wire protecting her heart. Because if Kelsey has learned anything, it’s that she loves fiercely . . . and stupidly.
So no. No men, no matter how gorgeous. Definitely no emotional connections with those of the XY variety. And certainly no boyfriends. Not now. Not again. Not ever.
But when she and Tanner get paired up as a bridesmaid and groomsman at her brother’s wedding, Kelsey finds it hard to remember all her steadfast rules.
Especially when it turns out that Tanner wants to get past all her defenses all over again.

This was my first book in this series and I am intrigued about the others. I still enjoyed this without the others but now I am curious as to how those ones are as well.
This one is about the brother’s best friend and younger sister forbidden romance. It’s a second chance romance since Tanner messed up in the past and the damage is more severe than even Kelsey wants to admit. Not only that but Tanner keeps messing up. There is more to Tanner than meets the eye and I enjoyed finding out why he keeps messing up.
I love how Kelsey and Tanner’s story plays out. How he proves himself to her. Definitely a enjoyable read and I look forward to going back and reading the first ones.
Another great book in this series. I absolutely loved Kelsey and Tanner. These two have something special once they realize it. Kelsey just wants her forever. She believed at one time she had it. But Tanner left her empty handed. With her brother’s wedding coming up she is going to have to face Tanner after many years of not seeing him. How well is this going to go? Tanner is a great guy you understand why he walked away when he did. But will he be able to show Kelsey that he has changed for the better? Will these two get their happy ever after they deserve? A great well written enjoyable book about two amazing characters. I have to say this is one of my favorite in this series.
What a fabulous second chance/brothers best friend romance! I love all of the Billionaires Club series and this one was fantastic! I loved Kelsey and Tanner! They were perfect together! They had undeniable chemistry! They were together in the past, but it didn’t end well. When they meet again at Kelsey’s brothers wedding sparks fly and they realize their feelings haven’t changed. Will they be able to get passed their past and move into their future?
Bad Boyfriend is a great second chance romance! I love this series! I enjoyed getting to revisit characters from previous stories! If you haven’t read the Billionaires Club series now is the perfect time!
There was so much chemistry in this book! It’s the first book in the series I’ve read, and I Didn’t feel
As though I missed much not reading the books previous in this series. Tanner and Kelsey had such a deep rooted devotion for each other that was fighting to get to the surface from the very beginning. It’s definitely what made the book the most enjoyable.
This book had two tropes that are certainly addicting- brothers best friend and second chance. Though Tanner blew it monumentally the first time, it’s no secret that these two belong together. Seeing the two and how they’ve grown yet still had these feelings for each other was amazing. If you’re looking for a quick, hot read, this is definitely a must read for you! By Victoria
This book is a fantastic second chance romance. I don’t know what else to say other than I loved this book so much!
I also love getting little glimpses of the Sextant members and how their lives have changed throughout the series.
My love for all things Elise started with this series, but not at the beginning. The first book I read was Bad Divorce and I liked it so much that I binge read the first four right after. Since then I’ve read a few more of her books but I’m not completely caught up. However, I’ve read enough to tell you that I don’t have to think when her name comes across, I just #oneclick.
Bad Boyfriend did not disappoint, as a matter a fact, it might be my favorite so far of this series. It was everything you’d want to read in a second chance to get it right journey. Kelsey and Tanner both were great characters to read. Their chemistry was sexy and emotional. Their growth was relatable and realistic. Their journey was heartfelt and just made me smile!
I really like this author and if you’re looking for relatable and realistic stories, you’re gonna like her also!
BAD BOYFRIEND is an engaging second chance romance and the characters are realistic and down to earth. This entertaining story revolves around Tanner and Kelsey, they grew up together and always cared about each other. Tanner is Kelsey’s brother’s best friend and Tanner has always felt guilty for his attraction to his best little sister. Unfortunately, his guilt caused him to hurt Kelsey.
Tanner has traveled the world as a photojournalist and is now ready to stay in one place. At the age of thirty, he is burnt out from all the traveling. Kelsey is brilliant, but unfortunately, doesn’t have much of a social life. She fell in love with Tanner at eighteen, but he broke her heart. She doesn’t want to risk her heart again.
He is Bad and He is Back
Tanner has a great career as a photographer, he has been all over the globe. Taking pictures has been his passion for years, but with that being said something is missing in his life.
Kelsey is brainiac, she has excelled all through school to advance herself far above her actual age. She has dedicated her life to working and being a great success.
The 2 had their whirlwind young couple romance, however when Tanner leaves Kelsey is devastated.
Years have passed and they finally have to cross paths and actually be up close and personal. Is this more than either of them cares to deal with? Does absence make the heart grow fonder, or does it leave time for them to think about how they are not happy about having to spend so much time together after all these years?
Tanner and Kelsey have a relationship that is all over the place, but in the end will things work out for the good or will it all go down the drain?
If you want to see what happens when there is distance for years and then you are in the presence of someone you love to hate, then be sure to make sure this is on your To Read List!
Another job well done Wlise Faber, can’t wait to see what comes next.
This is book #7, in the Billionaire’s Club. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For this series to be understood, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these stories in order.
Kelsey is not ,made for relationships. Going to a family member’s wedding, she wants a buffer. What she does not need it her ex, Tanner. She does not need to remember and relive the sparks that they have together.
Tanner is not surprised to find himself paired up with his ex-girlfriend, Kelsey. With it being a wedding for her brother, and her also being a bridesmaid, it seemed inevitable. The attraction is real, however.
Just like all the books in this series, this story is hot! This a fun family to revisit. With the upcoming wedding, we get to see all of our favorite characters. I liked the banter, the heat, and the family. A totally absorbing read, so hard to put down.
***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
This is part of a series but it easily stands alone as Kelsey is a loosely connected character to the series and Tanner is brand new to the series. This romance is primarily a best friend and little sister romance. It is well written and enjoyable, though at times Tanner was annoying.
At the start of this book we know two things, they both love each other but Tanner has broken K’s heart when she was a teen ager. T is bestfriends with Seb, who is getting married to Rachel from the previous book in the series. He asks Tanner to attend the wedding as his best man.
Tanner is a photo journalist and comes back for the wedding. He had a very sad growing up life and became a brother to Seb and a son to his parents. Also K’s parents as she is Seb’s baby sister. No one knows but when she was 18 and T was 21 they had a romance but he ran away from her and she hasn’t seen him since.
To a degree this is a story where T has to figure out what he wants and decide if its worth the risk. And K has to learn to trust him with her heart and better understand him.
At times I hated T because I felt he wasn’t willing to choose K . So it was not one of best books in this series. That said it was still enjoyable, I just felt like throwing something at T.
Bad Boyfriend by Elise Faber is bk 7 in the Billionaire’s Club series. This is Kelsey and Tanner’s story.
What a great addition to the Billionaire’s series. It’s a 2nd chance at love romance. Tanner and Kelsey have history. Tanner is Kelsey’s brother best friend. 9 years ago they had a short affair that they kept secret and it ended due to Tanner. They haven’t seen each other since Tanner broke Kelsey’s heart. Now they end up back in each other’s lives 9 years later when Kelsey’s brother gets married.
The chemistry between them is sensational, filled with the feels, steam and angst that will keep the reader engaged from start to finish. It’s a pretty quick read. All to find out can they rekindle what was never extinguished.
My Rating: 4.3 stars *******
Kelsey is – a nerd – super intelligent, and she loves to stay at home and read. Once she was hooked up with Tanner – her brother’s best friend. But he left her brokenhearted. So she won’t never meet him again. But now he’s back in town for her brother’s wedding. Feelings cooking on high flame in an instant and both are fighting against their feelings.
I love Elise Fabers style. So clear you can see the heartbreak in your mind while reading. You can feel it too. Both characters are unique and don’t trust each other anymore. They need to deal with this – okay. But would it work ?
This book is funny with an intelligent plot and many scenes that made me chuckle. Family is all that counts but who belongs to the family that is the center of this story. Confidence for sure and to deal with your life in each way you want and don’t take care of circumstances.
This book is the 7th of the series Billionairs Club but you can read it as a standalone.
I love the chemistry between Kelsey and Tanner, because they’re both very special characters and earn each other.
I turned through the pages fingers crossed for a happy ending…
Loved this one very much, thanks Elise.
This is the 7th book in this great series and is Kelsey and Tanner’s story. Tanner is Kelsey’s brother’s best friend, and he left 9 years previously leaving them both heartbroken. This is a beautifully written 2nd chance romance which has witty banter and love, which all had me hooked and intrigued throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all.
Kelsey and Tanner are a storm cloud of the heart. After a heartbreak that has never truly healed, love may not be in their future. Bad Boyfriend starts with angst and ends with understanding. Faber gives emotions quite a workout. From heartache to yearning and back again, the power of love proves to be captivating in the most heartwarming sort of way.
I really enjoyed this second chance/Brother’s best friend romance. Kelsey and Tanner share a sweet past that had a bad ending. So there is plenty of pain, regrets and baggage that must be addressed and overcome as the story unfolds. I thought that these were very likable characters. The clever banter and intense chemistry generate plenty of sparks with each interaction they have. I found myself quickly invested in this couple and actively rooting for them.
A beautiful second chance romance about Kelsey who feel in love with her brother’s best friend, Tanner. Tanner broke Kelsey’s heart along time ago but, they never stopped loving, wanting and thinking of each other. Can they rekindle what they had or is it to late?
Bad Boyfriend is a fabulous second chance, brothers best friend romance. I couldn’t put this one down. Elise Faber brings in another winner in Bad Boyfriend. I love Kelsey and Tanner. As you get to know Tanner more you understand why he ran. Kelsey is a delight and will have you giggling a little here and there. The one thing you can’t deny is their chemistry. Kelsey and Tanner are hot. I love how Tanner proves he is not going to run anymore. You need to read this one.
This is a second chance romance from Elise Faber. Kelsey and Tanner were lovers many years ago. They broke up for inexplicable reasons (being young and stupid?). They are reunited years later at a wedding and sparks still fly between the two of them.
This was a quick read—maybe an hour. There may have been skimming involved. I wasn’t really drawn to either of the main characters or invested in them being reunited. It was hard to understand why they broke up in the first place. There was very little angst. They reunited very quickly and there was a little push and pull (should they or shouldn’t they) but not much.
“Bad Boyfriend” obviously wasn’t a standout but it sorta kinda cute if you tilt your head and squint your eyes really, really hard. This second chance, older brother’s best friend (these tropes and more!) was a fast-paced romance that I have read time and time again and didn’t leave much of an impression. The storyline was unoriginal and over used, the characters were dull and downright pathetic, and everything else was pretty much forgettable and left little to nothing to rave about.
