Jasmine Morrell is an online investigative reporter. Talking on the phone with her sister about a useless lead, Cat tells her that the secret-admirer guy logged in yet again and wrote how wonderful Jasmine was and that he loved her. He had been doing that for several months now. They had him banned from their system four times already, yet he keeps finding a way back on and Cat was getting concerned. Since Jasmine was stopping for coffee for Cat and herself, she called her brother Marcus to ask if he also wanted something. At the coffee shop, she scrolled through her email as she waited for her order, and a text came in from an unknown number. It became obvious it was her secret-admirer, frustrated that she never responded to his comments on her articles on the website. And this time, he sent her a picture of herself talking to cat from a minute ago, claiming how beautiful she looked today! Her secret-admirer had just crossed the line into STALKER! White as a sheet, she hurried back to the Axial Media building office to talk to Cat and Marcus.
She had just made it to the garage when a motorcyclist rode too close to her and made her drop the coffee tray. She got in a verbal confrontation with him when her brother walked down the ramp, laughing that after all these years they were still fighting! Neither of them had recognized the other, all grown up now after 10 years. And all Jasmine’s feelings for him came back full-force. Connor Landry is her brother’s best friend returning from the Marines. He opened a small motorcycle repair business rather than work with his billionaire father, the alpha of his pack. So when Jasmine is endangered by a stalker, Marcus and Cat ask Conner to accompany Jasmine to interviews she needs to conduct outside of the office. Conner tries to resist his own feelings for Jasmine, but finally figures out that Jasmine is his mate!
Jasmine becomes pregnant, but before she gets a chance to let Connor know, someone kidnaps her. Will Connor be able to find her? Will he rescue her before something bad happens?
This is a really good book that fills the reader with a mild tension as Jasmine’s stalker situation starts to escalate. Relaxing when Conner enters the picture to keep her safe, the reader’s tension rises once again at her being kidnapped. Great excitement, fast-paced, with strong and likable characters, the story line will keep the reader right there through the adventure of trying to rescue Jasmine in time. This book is amazing! The story of Jasmine and Connor is a wonderful story of love with a bit of intrigue to keep you on the edge of your seat! After her apartment is ransacked, she moves in with Connor and he makes sure she is never alone. One afternoon, she heads out for coffee with Andrew, a friend who helps her out with her job as an investigative journalist. She doesn’t tell Connor and she is late getting home and Connor is worried sick when she finally gets home. He tells her to stay away from Andrew as he neither likes nor trusts him and the two get into a fight. It is that night that she finds out that she is pregnant. Determined to tell Connor the truth, she heads back to their apartment to speak to him only to have him tell her the truth about what he is. Seeing that and knowing she’s pregnant overwhelms her and she heads back to stay with her sister. An important interview the next day has her going out alone and it ends up being a decision that she regrets when she is kidnapped by Andrew. When Connor learns she’s missing, he heads to visit a pack member to ask about Andrew’s whereabouts when he learns of a panic room that Andrew had built out in the middle of nowhere. Racing to save Jasmine, he arrives there in time to rescue her from Andrew. They return home, talk about their relationship and Jasmine tells him about the baby. Connor is thrilled about the baby and it leads them on the path to their happily ever after.

First off, let me compliment the writer this is a well written, intense, dramatic, romantic story that was a pleasure to read. This is not a short novelette but a in-depth novel. The characters Connor, bad boy wolf shifter and the best friend of Jasmine’s brother, Marcus, and Jasmine, a journalist, who grew up together were a wonderful romantic couple to wish for their HEA. The drama and action of a stalker bringing danger to our couple, made this a page turner. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.
Great, great shifter romance!! The chemistry between Jasmine and Connor was so Crazy Hot!! Jasmine is in danger from a stalker and Connor goes all out in protecting her and making sure that she is safe. All of that one-on-one closeness leads to other forms of closeness and you can guess the rest! This book has well-developed main characters, good secondary characters, a stalker, a kidnapping, a secret, action, twists-and-turns, a surprising (?) reveal as to whom the stalker turns out to be, and a true love that will not be denied!! There is plenty here to check all of the boxes for romance fans of just about any type!

There’s a difference between being a bad boy and being an a$$, Connor walks this line like a drunken sailor. Jasmine has always wanted Connor and is willing to do anything to keep him. It takes Connor a bit to realize she’s more than a one night stand and this is because Jasmine refuses to take no for an answer. In between all this Jasmine has a stalker and a job with her siblings. I figured it out pretty early on as to whom her stalker was but there’s enough intrigue to keep you reading. Even with this being book 3 this is a terrific story and definitely worth your time.

Connor had his bike shop because he didn’t to run the family business. Jasmine was an investigating journalist that posts on their web site she helps her brother and sister. She had a stalker before she and Connor got together so he was asked my her brother to be her bodyguard. They were having problems so her stalker kidnapped her but Connor and one of his friends went with him to rescue her and put Andrew away.
The author has given us characters we can care about. Connor, future alpha, runs into Jasmine, human, and feelings he did not know he had start rising to the surface. Jasmine has had a crush on him for years but never acted on it. Now that he is trying to protect her from a stalker, they spend so much time together that they begin a relationship.

Jasmine and Conner grew up together. Conner was Jasmine’s older brother Marcus’s best friend. That made her off limits as far as Conner was concerned. 10 years later Conner returns from Military Service and reenters Jasmine’s life. When Jasmine is threatened by a stalker, they ask Conner to accompany Jasmine to any interviews she has out of the building. Their interest rekindles, stronger than ever! Conner tries to resist but finally realizes it is futile to resist and relizes Jasmine is his mate. Once they commit to each other, Jasmine finds out she is pregnant. Before she can tell him, she is kidnapped. Conner finds out her stalker and kidnapper is a member of his pack and goes after her. This is a great book and really explores their relationship in depth.
As usual Scarlett Ray writes an amazing story. Connor and Jasmine knew each other growing up. Connor was best friends with her brother Marcus. Both families were into media news. Connor was son of billionaire written media. Marcus was into internet news. Someone was stalking Jasmine and Connor was asked to be her bodyguard whenever she went out of the building for her interviews. They were confronted by other reporters so instead of giving them the info on the stalker Jasmine said Connor was her boyfriend. Jasmine was kidnapped after being told Connors secret. With the help of a friend they find her.

This is not a comedy, but for some reason I found it funny. I am hoping that others will also. A very good storyline. A very well written book. Some may consider it a quick read or a short story, I thought it was very well rounded And a full story. Give it a shot, it really is worth it.
