The loss of his brother sends Brody Asher from Hollywood Golden Boy to Hollywood Bad Boy. When he might lose a blockbuster movie role because of his new reputation, he agrees to first do a small indie movie to clean up his image.Arriving on location, he’s not ready for the family politics and mystery surrounding the movie script that was based on a real life murder. And he’s most definitely not … definitely not ready to fall in love with the person that was the reason for the murder in the first place, or the fact that no one is supposed to know about her.

What an incredible and a beautiful story!
When Hollywood Heartthrob Brody loses his brother in a tragic accident, he goes on a downward spiral, which ends with him earning the reputation of Hollywood Bad Boy. In an effort to bring his career back, Brody’s manager lands him a lead role in a novel about Karen Kellerman’s death, which brings him to the Kellerman Estate in the mountains in Montana. This is where the bulk of the story takes place.
This novel felt like a big departure from Tijan’s typical work. There’s angst, but not an overwhelming amount of it. The love story is on the soft and sweet side, which fit perfectly with the two main characters and their personas. And the story, although it did have bits of action and mystery woven in, moved at a very calm pace that just felt right. Tijan wrote in such a vivid and descriptive way that I often felt like I was walking through an art gallery while reading, seeing these gorgeous artistic renderings of the different scenes within the book. It’s hard for m’e to explain how I felt while reading, because I don’t know that I’ve felt this way before with any other book, but I was completely submerged in the Kellerman world. I could hear the waters of the hot springs, feel the wind slipping through my hair, and see the wild horses running. I’ve read books that have made me feel like I was submerged in the story, but not in the way this one did. And that is precisely why Tijan is in my list of favorite authors, always hovering up at the top of it, because her writing is impeccable.
I love how she crafted Brody’s character. He has the alpha mentality that I’ve seen in other Tijan books, but he’s also gentle and very caring. His alpha side comes out when he feels like he needs to protect anyone close to him, especially Morgan. The bad boy persona is more of a defense mechanism than anything. Brody has a lot of emotional baggage, and he’s never really taken the time to unpack and sort through it. I don’t think that he ever felt like taking the time to do it, until he het Morgan. Also, Brody was so relatable. We’ve all experienced grief in some way, shape, or form, and Brody’s way of dealing with his grief is similar to how a lot of people deal with it: push it down, drink it away, and put on a mask. I felt a lot of empathy for him when I was reading, and because I could relate to him, it gave his character even more life.
Morgan is a totally unique and amazing character. I’ve never read a story with a heroine like her. She’s wild and free, and she lives by her instincts. She’s completely innocent in some ways and in other ways, she’s had to learn through the school of life. She’s very feminine and I love how in tune she is with nature and with the horses. Honestly, her connection to Shiloh and the rest of the herd was captivating. And of all the characters in the book, it was Morgan who I loved the most in terms of character development. She changed so much over the story, in both subtle and obvious ways. I love how being with Brody helped her to come out of her shell and to really blossom, and to realize that she didn’t have to lay down and deal with how people treated her, but she could fight back and do what was best for her.
I couldn’t put this book down and I fell in love with the story only a few chapters in. It flowed good, it’s beautifully written (as I mentioned above), and the characters are all fantastic, including the secondary ones. There are a few twists and turns, which is why I’m not mentioning much about the plot itself. I did enjoy the surprises that Tijan threw in too. There’s also a slow-burn to this romance, and those are among my favorite kinds, so that made me happy.
If you’re into all things swoony and romantic, with a touch of angst and some dramatic suspense tossed in, then Bad Boy Brody is the perfect book for you.
Five stars to this novel!
Wow! How refreshing! I just loved this book! It was beautifully written. The words flowed from chapter to chapter. The story was very captivating. It had everything: Hollywood Bad Boy, mysterious girl, wild horses and more. Tijan just makes it work. It captured me from chapter one. There is also a story within a story.
Brody Asher was Hollywood’s golden boy. All of that changes on the night of his first breakout movie premier. The unthinkable happens as he waits for his brother to arrive. Brody spirals downward and is dubbed “Bad Boy Brody” by the press. This results in Brody having to humble himself a bit. He takes a role in a smaller indie film trying to redeem himself as a professional. Arriving on set in rural Montana he is stunned and amazed as a pack of wild horse run right in front of his car. But more than that is a woman attached to one of the pack.
“Unbroke.”
“That was the name of the movie, a term used about a horse that wasn’t trained.”
“…The movie was about my mother, but why would they use that term? She’d been broken.”
Morgan Kellerman is the heroine. She is a recluse. She is beautiful, smart and resourceful. She has a unique personality. Her home is a grand estate in Montana that was willed to her after her mother was murdered. Morgan is almost a ghost. She is rarely seen. She lives and runs with the wild pack of mustangs across the hills and valleys of the property. Morgan has an intimate relationship with these horses. They are sensitive creatures. Both Morgan and the mustangs understand one another.
“I was able to stay where I was. I could avoid humans as much as necessary.
Some knew about me. Some whispered about me. Some thought I was a ghost. Only my stepfather, stepsiblings, and a few others knew the truth.”
Brody and Morgan are drawn to each other. They each have secrets and sorrows in their pasts. In a way they help to heal one another. Their chemistry is explosive. There is so much meshed into their story. Love, loss, lies and deceit. There was also a twist I didn’t see coming. I can’t explain how much I loved this book! It grabbed my heart and wouldn’t let go. I only have one little complaint…I LOVE my Epilogues and this book did not have one. I would have loved to see a peek into the future.
“She was beautiful. She was wild. She was the untamed one. Unbroke.”
5 stars!!!!
Oh my! Bad Boy Brody is not what I expected at all! It’s better.
For some reason the name just didn’t seem to fit for me. The whole build up (for months), I couldn’t seem to get behind the name. I loved the blurb. I needed to know “all the things” but the title kept putting me off. And then I read the book…
Bad Boy Brody is the newest in the line of celebrity scandal nicknames. Brody has had his share of heartache and perhaps his method of dealing needs some work. Now the Hollywood heartthrob is a one punch away from the punch line of a joke. This is the movie that will keep him from tanking his career if… and there’s a long list that follows.
She is a secret. A mystery. An enigma.
They will never be. They can’t. They won’t. Or can they…
As is expected in a Tijan book, there are tears. There is some serious “Whaaaaaaa?!?” vibes going on too. Something not right. Some questionable people. And a whole lot of mustang.
Be surprised. Enjoy the ride.

“She was beautiful. She was wild. She was the untamed one.”
Bad Boy Brody is a breathtaking story about love, loss, pain, losing yourself, healing and being found again. Just by reading the blurb you don’t fully understand what an absolutely beautiful story you are getting.
“Other people brought problems. They brought hurts and aches and eternal sadness.”
Morgan…wow what can I say about her? She is one of the most unique characters that I have ever read. She is wild, beautiful, free and lives by a different standard than we do. She is also a lot smarter than people gave her credit for. Losing her family in a horrible way she escapes to the woods but luckily is adopted by a new family. Her love for horses runs deep within her blood. It is who she is, who she relates to, who she loves.
“I spread my arms wide, and as her mane was flying behind her, so was mine. I’d never felt more alive than I did in that moment. This was the world I loved.”
Brody is dealing with the aftermath of the tragic accident that took away his brother at the same time as his acting career starts to takes off. To say he is a little lost would be an understatement. But he has so many strong characteristics that draw you in. He is a fierce protector, loyalty and understanding of Morgan’s needs. Not to mention he his all around HOT!! Bad Boy yes, but one you will love.
“It was as if she stuck her hand inside, took hold of my organs, and crawled in beside them. I still felt her.”
When they meet both feel something within themselves that draws them to each other. Maybe it’s because they are both a little broken but they cannot stay away from one another. Their connection is deep but it is so much more than that. This is definitely a one of a kind book with an original plot and intriguing characters. I without a doubt recommend it, especially if you love horses, bad boys and emotional reads.
“There was something about Brody that made me not regret anything.”

Lee’Anne –
This was a great book – I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that had me quite as intrigued as this one. Morgan is such a unique character and learning about her “way of life” was interesting. I’m giving this read a solid 5 stars!
Brody is an up and coming actor who spiraled out after the death of his brother. Now, he’s trying to save his career by doing a smaller movie that will test his ability to focus. The movie is the story of a woman who was murdered, and the movie is being filmed on her land at the permission of her step-children and biological daughter that no one knows about – Morgan. Morgan lives with the wild mustangs that roam her land, she literally sleeps out in the woods with them. She rarely comes back to the main house because she feels to confined and she’s especially adverse to coming back to the house while it’s filled with all the cast for the movie. When Morgan does finally make an appearance, the sparks between her and Brody are immediate, and she can’t seem to stay away.
I seriously loved Morgan’s character. She’s unique, headstrong, and truly wild in the most literal sense of the word. She suffered a terrible loss when her mother was murdered, not only with having lost her mother but also because her step-siblings were sent away and Morgan was left alone. Her only family are the horses and their connection is unbreakable. I highly recommend reading this book – no review is going to be able to do this unique story justice.
Random side note: I didn’t love the title – I felt this was more Morgan’s story than Brody’s and she deserved the title.

M/F Romance
Triggers: Murder
So, I just have to start by saying that Tijan’s writing is one that almost always evokes emotions. This book did evoke emotions and sometimes they were conflicting and sometimes they were amazing.
There is a lot of misdirection in this story and it made it that much more interesting. It was slower than most of the Tijan books I’ve read in the past, so at times, I struggled to make it through. Also, there were some parts that were just kind of hard to think as realistic, but the goal of a story was to entertain, and this did that.
Matthew, Finn, and Abby have been hoping to see their sister, Morgan, for years. They come back to their family’s house in order to make a movie about their stepmother’s murder. Things go wrong in terms of the Hollywood aspect, the actors seem somewhat aloof, but overall, the story needs all of these characters in order to be successful.
Brody is still dealing from the trauma of losing his brother to an accident. He is known for having a short temper and being a playboy. However, being on the farm, away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood is just what he needs. Despite his internal struggle with his own trauma, he catches the eye of farm resident, Morgan. The first few times that Brody sees Morgan, it’s from a distance and despite knowing better, he is intrigued.
Morgan is more comfortable living among the horses that run through her property than she is with people. After surviving the trauma of her mother’s murder, she just knows that her instincts and love are better off served with Shiloh and Shoal, the two wild horses that are closest to her. As the real world encroaches on her home and the home of her horses, Morgan has to decide if putting up with people and the realities that are out there are worth it – is love worth the sacrifice?
This had a strange mystery twist to it and I really enjoyed that. Despite Brody and Morgan’s romance, which I thought was somewhat strange at the beginning, they balanced each other in the end. Finally, the emotions that were brought out, especially when things peaked, were hard to deny – you wanted to hug or slug people within the story and sometimes, it conflicted. There were also aspects of the story that made it hard to seem realistic, but I was able to look past that – I enjoyed this story a lot.

Be ready to take off & run away with Brody!
This story is told in multiple POV’s which I am a big fan of because I love to know what is in the mind of each character.
Just a spectacularly, vivid, suspenseful story of two broken souls that come together to find each other when they least expect to.
I loved how we get a good dose of the Hollywood life from Brody and Morgan brought the right amount of free willing life of living out in her small town.
Morgan instantly was a character that I could connect with being an outsider to everyone around her. She is broken and wounded.
Brody coming into her territory makes Morgan realize she is not the only one that suspects that there is more to her mothers death than everyone else thinks.
Brody & Morgan’s chemistry is a beautiful buildup full of angst, heartache and soo much more.

Bad boy Brody is a standalone and the newest release of author Tijan. I met your books a few years ago and from there to here, I look forward to reading and see that she is preparing for her readers.
This book is a little different from the others that I read her, has a heroine a little more complicated than the other and while the horses have an importance and meaning here it didn’t bother me one bit.Morgan showed a character well more complex at the same time very human and on some level I was able to connect with her.Brody is the hero of this story and is also a character that I really enjoyed. He was imperfect, real and dear it was impossible not to surrender the care he had with Morgan.
But like the idea of the plot and the characters are well developed individually I couldn’t connect fully in them as a couple, and the end could be more developed, too.I felt that the events were a lot of hasty and corridos. And of course was missing an epilogue in my opinion.
Bad Boy Brody not captivated me completely and its not my favorite of this author, but still liked the book, and I hope to read your future books.
Five beautiful stars! This is an intriguing and unexpected read. Books like this are hard to forget!
Sweet horses! Bad Boy Brody by Tijan is a powerful, beautiful, fascinating and captivating book. I spent a fabulous time while reading it. My heart was beating as fast as wild horses. I fall deep into the story from the first chapters to the end. It was a gripping journey I can’t wait to repeat it. A paperback edition of this book deserves to be in my bookshelf!
The writing is brilliant and enthralling. It takes a lot for me to surrender to an exciting book like this. I fell completely in love with the story and these characters. It is compelling, passionate and magisterial. Books like these are hard to forget! It has the right amount of everything that makes my soul sings: emotions, surprises, a well developed story and wonderful characters.
Tijan gifted us a cocky, sexy, messed actor. Brody is hot as hell. He is temptation personified. Almost all women fall for him, no one can resist him. He is like a magnet. His bad boy attitude is a powerful aphrodisiac. To be honest, he is the type of book boyfriend that makes me have high expectations on men. Losing his brother marked his soul. Rumours and bad media could make a big deal of something too natural. Dealing with his lost wasn’t easy and he almost put his career in danger. While working on a movie that is not only based on fiction, he will meet a young beautiful woman. At the begging he would think that she is a ghost, like his brother but she isn’t. She is real and wild. She is a wildflower. She is pure and innocent, a strong amazone who prefers the company of horses. She intrigues him like no other woman has.
I truly understand why Morgan prefers being with horses than being with humans. Human beings are too complicated. They hurt and they are selfish. She was left when he mother was murdered. She experienced from firsthand how selfish humans can be. She found comfort in the wild nature. Her only company she allowed is a herd of horses. They calmed her soul. She not only lost her mother, she also lost her family. Being around humans are hard but Brody will make her, for the first time, want to interact more with the world she has avoided since she was 18.
The pacing is perfect and the plot is peculiarly unique. Bad Boy Brody will definitely be one of my top favourites this year. Man, I want more! Excellent book! Originality is the first word that occurs to me to describe this book. It was an unexpected story that will leave you wanting more. This is perfect for those readers who want something different and touching.
Bad Boy Brody by the incredibly talented author Tijan is a full length, standalone, romance novel. It´s a story about loss, heartbreak, love and living again.
Brody Asher lost his brother in a horrible acident and he goes from Hollywoods Golden to Bad Boy fast. He´s about to lose a big movie role and he agrees to do a indie film to polish his image.
What he finds when he sets his foot at the film scene is something he never had dreamt of.
Morgan is a young woman who lives and runs with Mustangs. She´s nearly a recluse and hasn´t talked to her half-siblings in years. And now her mother´s story is about to be told in a movie.
Brody meets Morgan and he´s not only fascinated by her, he´s mesmerized. And he´s the only one who can understand her. Morgan is like a mustang herself, she´s wild and can´t be tamed. They´re from opposite worlds, they don´t fit in and heartbreak and devastation is on the horizon. She can´t leave and he won´t stay – they´re doomed.
Bad Boy Brody is a story that will stay with you. I read the book a few days ago and I can´t get it out of my head. The characters stubbornly stay. You don´t have to like horses to love this book, but I promise after reading Bad Boy Brody you´ll love Mustangs too.
Every time Tijan releases a new book, I´m giddy. Giddy because I know I´ll love her stories and the characters and I we simply ” click “. I recommend the book and give 5 stars.
This is only my third book by Tijan and I can honestly say, hand on heart, it’s the best one yet!! Truly an amazing story and a wonderful book to spent a few rainy hours with. Yeah, it wasn’t a nice weather day when I started reading this one. But, the story pulled me in and I got lost between the pages of my kindle and forgot about anything as mundane as wind and rain.
Bad Boy Brody had it all for me. It spoke to my inner child who loved horses beyond reason and I love a great, emotional love story. Add in the Hollywood bad boy and I was a happy chick.
Brody, for all he was portrayed as a bad boy, he grabbed me and dug under my skin. I was taken by him from the second he started talking.
Amd Morgan? Gosh, what as strong woman she was. Her emotional connection to her mustangs bleed through my kindle and made me want to be that girl I used to be. When these two came together it was a wondrous thing. Their connection went beyond the physical, it was so intense.
I loved how charming Brody could be when he wanted to let his soft side shine. This wild, but hard-working man stole my heart, smushed it up, then mended it before giving it back.
I just loved every single second of the raw, powerful emotion filled book and wish there could have been more.
No doubt about it. This is a MUST READ for all Tijan fans, and for those new to her, take a chance. You won’t be sorry.
One of the most important things in a book for me is the first couple of chapters. Reason being they have to capture the attention of the reader in order to will them on without hesitation. This book more than done that and I am in serious awe of Tijan’s writing skills. This book is so different to others out there. Yes we read a million books about that Hollywood film star but this one stood out because of the plot line behind it.
Brody is wrecked with grief from the death of his brother and his drinking and bad behaviour is becoming a problem. He blames himself for his death but yet he is to scared to go looking for the answers but getting his life back on track is a must if he wants his career to succeed. Brody agrees to star in a small indie film in order to get himself back on track and hopefully thrown back into something more major. What Brody didn’t bargain on was meeting and falling in love with a girl who lives as a ghost. A girl who lives with the wild horses and he probably doesn’t have a hope on earth of ever changing that.
This book is so different and it has wormed it’s way in to the top 5 books of 2018 for me. I loved every single second of it and by the end I wanted so much more of these characters. Both characters have heartbreak and sadness in their lives but when with each other everything changes and they become totally different people. I found the story totally inspiring and with it having different elements to it that we don’t usually see in a book it made it even more special and enjoyable. I can’t wait to see what Tijan writes next.
ALL THE STARS!!!
#1 Read of 2018!
What a freaking ride!
Once upon a time there was a girl who dreamed of running with horses…but that dream never came true…until now! Tijan, you have made it possible for my childlike dreams to come true, for at least a day!
Bad Boy Brody is a story within its own subgenre. This is a story about one girl who has hidden herself from the rest of the world due to the tragedies that she faced at such a young age. She’s learned at a young age the only person she can depend on isn’t a person, in fact it’s a herd of wild mustangs. Morgan is a character whom I envy and adore. She is a character that shows great strength. Her survival instincts are uncanny. She’s a breath of fresh air and unlike anyone I have ever read in a novel before. When I first started reading Bad Boy Brody, I felt a likeness between Morgan and myself, and no, I didn’t grow up with a herd of wild mustangs. But growing up in a small country town in Michigan, I found I was more comfortable walking the trails in the woods behind my house. I loved the solitude and the ability to open my mind to all that is great in nature. Now, homes a place to run to when the world feels like it’s getting to be too much.
Bad Boy Brody is also a story about one man’s success that ultimately is caused by his own tragic moments. It’s about him finding the ability to move on from said tragic moment, and learn how to find trust in people again. While Morgan gave strength to this novel, Brody gave it a sense of fragility and hopelessness. My heart hurt for this man and the shit he went through and was put through. But given the fact that he had his business spread and misinterpreted all over the world, one can’t blame him for turning to the bottle and drinking away his self image. He was once known as Hollywood’s golden boy. Now he’s Hollywood’s own bad boy.
Bad Boy Brody brings a newness to the romance genre. I can honestly say out of the thousands of books I have read, there has never been one like Bad Boy Brody. I loved the originality Tijan brings to the populated world of romance. Not only is this an epic love story but there is also twists around every turn and a spiritual sense that is the strongest of all.
Bad Boy Brody is a breath of fresh air!
READ THIS BOOK!! Seriously, if you all are like me and love originality in all forms, READ THIS BOOK!

When Hollywood meets the wild…
Tragedy is what forced Brody to start behaving professionally… and also what made Morgan stay away from humans.
You’ll love this amazing mix of two completely different worlds, set crews, celebrities, horses and unresolved mysteries…
You’ll fall for Brody and Morgan, the way they so naturally connected, like two souls waiting for the day they’d finally meet, in the wild and behind the cameras…
As the story unfold, we’ll learn a little more about Morgan’s past and her estranged family.
The love story is amazing, raw and beautifully wild.
This books is a beauty, some moments will break your heart too, but it’s totally worth it.
The symbiosis between Morgan and her horses was just amazing and breathtaking.
Another must read for me, like all Tijan’s books!
