This is an emotional story about Charlie and Parker getting a second chance at love. Charlie and Parker were once married and years later they are reunited when he interns at the hospital Charlie is a surgeon at. I loved these two together and I was cheering them on the whole way. This is a beautiful, well written story with believable characters, a great HEA and a great start to the Remington Medical series.
Wow! Kimberly what a way to start a series..I loved her fire fighter series and now it looks as I will start to follow this series. I loved Charlie and Parker and was rooting for them the whole time, they had a lot to overcome to be able to give love another chance and was happy that they were finally able to do so ..I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It was an easy-to-read story of the second chance of love.
The characters were relatable and their emotions close to reality.
The descriptions and the feelings painted a picture of pain, love, and change.
There were so many characters that made the story extra colorful.

This is the first book for Kimberly Kincaid’s newest series in the same world as her previous Station Seventeen series. I love it when author do that, instead of one giant series a whole bunch all independent of each other but still interconnected. I love second chance romance stories and Parker and Charlie have a doozy of a history.
This is an emotional story about forgiveness, second chances, and taking a chance when you know it’s worth the risk. I loved Parker and Charlie they balanced each other out well, Parker is a risk taker and a rule breaker while Charlie is straightlaced and by the book. This was a great introduction to the series and the other characters and I can’t wait for Jonah’s book.
Overall, it was a quick and easy read, very emotional. It was well paced and steamy hot in all the right places. If you haven’t picked up Kimberly Kincaid before this is a great book to start at.
What a gem of a read this turned out to be! I’m such a sucker for second chance romances and Kimberly really tortures us with a bit of angst and tension as Parker and Charlie work their way back to each other. When Kimberly mentioned this book, she told me to think “Grey’s Anatomy, with being such a fan of a show ,until all my favorites started to die off, I knew I just had to read this book!
I was immediately sucked in from the very beginning and I was just eager to know what went down between these two. There’s obvious pain that’s laced between these two, but there’s definitely that deep-rooted passion that still holds strong for them.
Everything about these two is explosive and just constantly demanding your attention. It’s quite the dynamic where Charlie is the attending and Parker is the intern, when in the past they were both in the same position of being interns. We slowly learn what happened between them and that Parker quit his internship back then and left everything behind. But Charlie definitely had these steel walls up, so in present day she’s very much a stern doctor that is in a place that she doesn’t want to be at; Remington Medical.
With both of them being in a position that neither can avoid, there was a storm brewing and I wasn’t sure if I was emotionally prepared for it. It was absolutely heartbreaking to relive the story with them and I just hurt soooo much for the both of them.
I loved that Kimberly wrote their story so beautifully, there was so much heartache and pain, but seeing them healing together was something I was rooting for from the beginning. I’ll be honest, I was bit unsure about Charlie in the beginning, but the more the truth was revealed I became more understanding of her reasons and why Parker did what he did, back then.
Back to You is absolutely perfect and I loved every moment of their journey towards healing and eventually love. I am so on-board with this series, so I can’t wait for the next book.
Major thank you to Kimberly Kincaid for the reader’s copy!

My poor little heart wasn’t ready for such an emotional ride. I loved the road that leads to Charlie and Parker finding each other again. It was not an easy road to travel but eventually, they realized what we already knew. They belong together. I loved them together and their chemistry was sizzling hot. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Charlie is back to the hospital where she interned to cover an Emergency Department as an attending for her best friend Tess while she is on maternity leave. Unbeknownst to her at the time, her exhusband Parker has returned after six years to redo and complete his internship. He wants to be a doctor more than anything. He is there, almost probationary, due to his being willing to take chances outside the rules. They split after many misunderstandings after she suffers a miscarriage. Now, she is his boss. How is that going to work? Love is still an underlying emotion in their strained relationship. A tragedy had split them apart and another tragic situation is perhaps bringing them back together into now forbidden circumstances. Nicely written and looking forward to the next story in this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
The story is interesting but it’s swallow in a lot of medical info and fears. It’s feel like reading greys anatomy with less heat.

I love second chance romances and it was wonderful to watch Charleston and Parker find their way back to each other after all they had been through – it really made my heart happy!
I liked both Parker and Charlie and, even though they could be so polar opposite on things, they just made sense together. Charlie loves order and facts, she’s by the book and finds her comfort when the facts drive the decisions. Parker has a reputation of being a bit of a wild card and is seen as using gut instinct and reaction to drive his decisions, even though it’s clear his knowledge and skills play just as important a role. These two have a past that drove them apart, but when circumstances bring Parker and Charlie back together it’s obvious that what they had isn’t over by a long shot! I loved the use of the flashbacks – I was a bit put off by Charlie at first, but understanding what had happened and then unraveling the why’s behind her reactions helped to see beneath the somewhat cold and hard personality she had adopted as part of her coping mechanism. Parker was a total dream and I loved how he stepped up and became the man Charlie needed, especially when faced with the issues that threatened their relationship once again.
There was great tension between Parker and Charlie but it never felt like the angst level got to be too much. And once they finally opened up to each other about what went wrong in the past and why, it created such a wonderful foundation for them to build their new relationship on.
There were some great characters introduced and I look forward to learning more about each of them. It did get tough at times to keep track of everyone, but each new character introduced and every character that made a cameo from Parker’s former work-life (from the author’s Station Seventeen series) helped tell Parker and Charlie’s story and ensures that there will be some great stories that will be told in this series!
It was a bit heavy on the medical jargon at times which slowed the book down for me in a couple of spots, but props go out to Kimberly Kincaid for making things as realistic as possible.
This was a great start to a new series that promises to deliver some fun stories while still allowing glimpses into the lives of characters that have already had their stories told. If you like your romances with a healthy dose of drama and/or love those medical drama shows, then this one is definitely one to check out!
I received an advance reader copy from the author which I voluntarily reviewed.
I adore Kimberly’s books and BACK TO YOU hit all the high-points for me!! Second chance romance? Check. A hero and heroine that I adored? Double check. The fact that they were divorced and finding their way back to each other? I. Loved. This. Book. So so good! And I highly recommend <3
I could see and feel all the feelings reading this one. There was pain and sadness. There was lust and hunger. There was hate and passion. There was love and loss. This one kept me on my toes and I could feel the pressure running along the doctors, nurses and first responders in this second-chance fast paced story. It kept me on my toes wondering what was going to happen next.
4.5 Stars
I really enjoyed this book so much! I could hardly put it down. The characters were so engaging and wonderful. This is the first book in the series and I can tell you I want the rest of the series now. I’m already invested in all the characters. Kimberly Kincaid has magic when it comes to developing characters. This is a second chance romance. Parker and Charleston both grabbed my heart with their history. I just wanted them to find their way back to one another. You can’t help, but root for them right from the beginning. I’m not one that reads a lot of medical romances, but this one sucked me right in. Plus you can;t go wrong with a Kimberly Kincaid book. I liked that characters from her Station Seventeen series make cameos. Now I’m going to sit here eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.
An awesome emotional second-chance romance I could not put down! Ashely @ Carolina Chic’s Read
This is the start to a wonderful new series about the Remington Memorial doctors. Charlie and Parker were interns together and it did not work out. When Charlie comes back to fill in for her best friend while she is on maternity leave she runs into the one person she didn’t want to see….Parker. What happens between these two will keep you turning the pages as the chemistry is off the charts. I love how Kimberly built the relationships between all the charters and cannot wait to read more about the other doctors in this series.
Loved this beautifully sweet, sexy fun, emotional and engaging second chance romance that set my heart pounding and falling in love with this new series…. Six years is a long time with zero contact and never dealing with what happened… fate throws them back together, the undeniable passion won’t let them forget … loved it!!!
This was an easy enjoyable read. Right from the start I knew this was going to be a good book, the plot was easy to follow and the story flowed smoothly. A quick read with a happy ending

Parker and Charlie’s love story was amazing and emotional. I absolutely loved Back to You by Kimberly Kincaid, book one in her Remington Medical series. This amazing second chance story pulls out all the stops. Not only is it a second chance at love but also at doing a job both had only dreamed about. Despite the possibility of losing his internship, Parker’s love for Charlie surpassed his goal of being a doctor. Given a chance, being offered her dream job, Charlie loved Parker too much to allow him being booted from the program because of her. These two exemplified the importance of honesty, trust, and love overcoming all obstacles. I loved how strong Charlie was and how she knew she was Godzilla. Parker might have been a rule breaker, always because of something he strongly believed or the safety of others, but that didn’t make him less of a hard worker with a strong work ethic.
Ms. Kincaid provided an emotional tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, strong “family” connections and endearing characters; providing Parker and Charlie a chance at everlasting love. I highly recommend Back to You to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This is a fascinating start to a new series, combining characters from two previous series, Rescue Squad and Station Seventeen. It’s a reunion of Charleston Becker and Parker Drake, previously married, things fell apart after a heartbreaking miscarriage. Parker left the program and was a successful medic/ EMT for six years, but being a Doctor was always his dream. He is back for his internship determined to succeed this time. But, in an unexpected turn of events, Charlie who has been practicing surgery in Tennessee is back at Remington Medical to cover for her best friend for 10 weeks of maternity leave.
The blending of the characters is seamless, and slow build up of emotion and trust between Charlie and Parker seemed very real. The traumas and actions in the ED were also accurate.
If you like medical drama and romance I recommend this series….looking forward to the next book!
I would like to thank the publisher and author for the opportunity to read and review this very entertaining story.
This book is a second chance romance that was fantastically done! I love this genre but sometimes the reuniting can be fast, and they tend to brush over the past Hurts. However, this is not the case with Kimberly’s newest read. Charlie and Parker were explosive once but then IT happened. They haven’t seen each other in years and Charlie never wanted to see him again. She has moved on and up and has a good life. This is a romance novel so y’all know they meet again and find that there are still feelings there. What I liked though was that They don’t fall right back into bed, they don’t pretend all is normal. There is pain and hurt that needed to be fixed and, in this book, you see the reality of how that works. Charlie and Parker are fantastic people separate and eventually they are even better as a team. I truly LOVE book one in this new series and can’t wait to read the next one! So, grab/pre-order this one today!
