Frank Evans welcomed his daughter, Sherri, back home to their ranch in Texas after she became unhappy working as a nurse out east. She had always had a special way with animals, especially horses, and he was happy to have her home. As Sherri settles in while she ponders what she wants to do with her life, she and her father’s new foreman, Ty Baker, hit it off from the moment they meet. They work … They work well together, both respecting the other’s abilities, as they grow closer.
But working together in harmony grows challenging when bear attacks become a problem in the area. It’s difficult for Sherri to see the animals she loves so much being hurt, and she struggles with stress. Ty has a method for dealing with that stress, but will it put their relationship in jeopardy?
Publisher’s Note: This sweet romance contains elements of domestic discipline.

I have never read anything by this author until I chose and read this book. It’s an enjoyable story about Sheri and Ty, their lives, their relationship and it does feature domestic discipline. I thought it was a nice plot and written well so that I was intrigued, and it was a page-turner for me. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

Sherri, a burned out nurse, returns to her father’s ranch.
Her father’s foreman, Ty is an old fashioned with strong work ethic, and believes that everybody are safe on the job.
The same goes for women, keeping women safe should be man job.
He definitely feels this about petite Sherri.
They are attracted to each other, and both are respectful but unfortunately trust is the big problem for Sherri . She is very much used to getting her own way, having been raised mostly alone by her father and being a nurse made her character even stronger.
Will she acknowledge that relay on Ty doesn’t take anything from her? Will she accept?

This is the story of Sherri, a burned out nurse who returns to her father’s ranch, and her father’s foreman, Ty. Ty is an old fashioned kind of guy, who has a strong work ethic, and believes in making sure the men that he oversees are safe on the job, but he feels even more strongly about keeping women safe, especially petite Sherri. Ty and Sherri are immediately attracted to each other, and both are seeking respect from one another. Sherri wants to be acknowledged for the skills she has for working on the ranch, especially with horses. She is also very much used to getting her own way, having been raised mostly alone by her father. But Ty is a fair man, and he just wants to make certain she still has her ranch skills since she has been away at college and then working as a nurse. Sherri though is quick to show her temper, and will do as she pleases if she thinks she won’t get caught. Ty makes it clear that he will not have behavior like that with a person he has a personal relationship with, and being the old fashioned man he is, he uses spanking to get his point across. The main fault I have with this story, and yes, I realize it is fiction, is how quickly she accepts his discipline. I believe most women, most people in fact, who are not personally seeking this type of relationship would need to talk quite a bit about it first, and do research before agreeing. Other than that, it is a very good story. It has intrigue, a good mystery, and does show the maturing of Sherri as she finds her new place in a world away from nursing. It does not have sex, but does have bare bottom spankings. I do recommend it.
