Sara: I’ve been in love with my best friend, Graham, for six years. The only problem is, he doesn’t know it. I’ve done everything to live the life I’ve wanted for myself. Get out of the small town I grew up in, graduate college with an art degree, and become assistant to one of Dallas’ most prominent artists. But despite my small successes, I still feel an empty hole burning inside me. A desire … burning inside me. A desire for the one man who always manages to leave me breathless.
Maybe it was time to tell Graham how I felt.
But how can I tell my best friend I love him when a chance encounter from the past continues to haunt me, threatening to destroy everything?
Graham:
I’ve been in love with Sara for as long as I can remember. Regardless of my insatiable need to keep her close, I haven’t been able to tell her.
Why? Because she deserves someone better, someone who could lay the world at her feet.
Instead, I’m a man filled with a life of regret and who can only promise her an unstable future.
But when an opportunity with the Dallas Museum of Art comes my way, I can’t help but wonder if this is it: The way to finally make her mine. A chance to tell her how I feel and show her the kind of man I could be. I’m just hoping after six years of keeping my love a secret, there aren’t others standing between us and the perfect life I’ve dreamed of.

And we’re back to frustrating characters with poor communication skills….
I think there’s one character in particular that has a terrible knack of making things worse that doesn’t help.
Would of liked a bit more suspense, but all in all it was a mostly enjoyable read.
As this was one of the author’s older books, it was nice to see her growth.
I absolutely loved this book Sara and Graham have a bond like no other they are best friends but yet they both want more and have feelings for each other that’s is deep but neither wants to say anything to one another but knowing after he seen her naked bare body that he wants to bend her over and spank her this book with have u all in ur feels lol loved it !
Sara and Graham were perfect in this novel. They’ve been friends for a while and each is harboring feelings for the other without realizing they both feel the same and they are afraid to act on it and lose there friendship until they end up working closely together and can’t deny it any longer. Absolutely loved it
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
This is the 1st book in a new series, and is Graham and Sara’s story. This is a well written dark, friends / lovers story, which has angst, twists, intrigue, suspense, and love. I recommend for all.
Loved Sara and Graham. I was so routing for these characters. Then throw Julian into the mix and knew things were going to get freaky. He’s just so bad!
I couldn’t put this book down. I flipped page, after page to find out what happens next. Great story!
This book was really sweet, well written, and a good best friends to lovers story. However the characters just lacked for me. I suppose I prefer my heroines strong and my heroes alpha and that just wasn’t in this story. I would definitely recommend it.
This book will suck you in from the first chapter, the characters are great and the storyline is wonderful with a few twists along the way, I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.
Sara and Graham are both artists, roommates and best friends. They both secretly love the other, but both are too afraid that to admit their feelings and ruin their friendship. Sara is also best friends with Graham’s sister. Graham is offered an opportunity to do a show at a prestigious Dallas Museum. He is told to do some pieces with Sara, but the person offering this has their own agenda in doing this. This is a friends to lovers story, with a lot of intrigue and stalking thrown in. The story is told in dual POV. Will their love for each other be able to overcome all of the heartache and road blocks put in their way? Will Graham come to terms with his feeling of betrayal from his dad? Sara and Graham were very well written, and you felt what they were feeling. I will ready more of Brittany Taylor’s work.
I loved this story and the twists that happened in this book! Graham and Sara have a close relationship besides being roommates. Sara is Graham’s sister best friend but its more then that. She helps open his eyes to the possibilities and could happen with his art. Sure they fight but they make up. Feelings that have been building up finally come out. Things are going good until they aren’t. I was proud of Sara for standing up to her boss and the guys who tried desperately to hit on her. She stood her ground even when she was scared. They mesh really well together and create fantastically beautiful art. This book is focused on art but there’s also some dirty play in this. Turns out there’s a bit of suspense and crazy as well. It was nice to see both point of views from the characters and to see Graham heal from the past. He was able to open himself up and see a different side to his Dad. The book really has a way of drawing you in and not letting you go until the end.
I’ll start by saying I’m a huge fan of friends to lovers and I enjoyed this book so so much! Brittany Taylor is a new-to-me author that I recently found but I can say I will be reading more of her work! I loved Graham and Sarah, their story was sweet, romantic and super cute! Lots of passion and emotion was felt in this book! A real page Turner, I really enjoyed reading this book!!
Back to Me is a sweet story. Graham and Sara have secretly loved each other without the other knowing for years. They finally have the opportunity to make things right between them but there’s something in the way. There’s mystery and a little drama that surrounds this couple. Overall, their story is worth reading. Back to Me has everything I look for in a book, great characters, a good story line and an Epilogue worth waiting for. I’m ready to go back and read the previous books in this series.
I love this genre of friends who have secretly been in love with each other for years. Both Graham and Sara have been in this situation for years and neither is aware of the other’s feeling through the years. Both are afraid to jeopardize their friendship.
As the two are placed closely together through work they feel this may be the best opportunity to express their feelings in the slow build kind of way. But forces out of their control are going to make that challenging.
Such a great read. Loved the original aspects to this story telling. Great dual POV and amazing conclusion. I was able to receive a copy of this book for my honest opinion that I am volunteering to leave.
This was the first book that I’ve read by Brittany Taylor, and I’m so glad that I did! This was a story about Graham and Sara, and I enjoyed them both so much!
I look forward to more from this author!
A wonderful book, loved all the characters. I absolutely loved Sara and Graham’s story. Definitely recommend.
OMFG!! BACK TO ME by Brittany Taylor was such a Rollercoaster ride of Emotional distress and Heartwreching Aches!! It had Me wanting to Throw my Tablet across the room for the characters mindsets of WTF were They THINKING! I Could Not Put It in Down and devour it in ONE Sitting since it was So Captivating from the Start and Beautifully Written!
This Best Friends to Lovers romance storytelling was such a Suspenseful Rollercoaster Ride and the Sexual chemistry was off the Charts Hot!!
Definitely a Must Read Book and I will be looking forward to Reading more of her Writing!!
Sara and Graham had been best friends and roommates for years.
Sara woks in an art gallery and Graham is a inspiring artist, who is offered a chance at his own art show, featuring his own pieces. Graham is so happy that Sara was offered to do a collaboration with him.
Both are secretly in love with each other, but are afraid to admit it to each other.
One night they finally admit their love for each other and then everything seems to be going well.
Will their love last or will a stalker ruin everything they have together.
loved this story by brittany taylor. IT had me wanting more and I didnt want to put the book down. The story about Graham and Sara was def. one of my favorite reads so far.
It took me a while to get into this story but once I did I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The storyline was interesting and had many twists and turns. The characters were likeable. An overall enjoyable read.
I have to say Ive read a lot of books that have best friends that really want more but don’t want to spoil wheat they have to so they keep it a secret. I have to say I was so happy with the way this author told the story. Made us feel what they were feeling. I’m sure many people have been in situations like these two and wow what a story. So enjoyed this.
A great story with a whole lot of necessities: slow burn, angst, intrigue, twists, turns, suspense, geekiness, and romance. Sara and Graham are wonderful characters with great qualities. However, I did want to scream at Graham to buck the f**k up! Highly recommend!!!
