Kurt She’s smart, hot, and funny. My dream girl. There’s just one problem. She’s also my best bud’s little sister. The sparks have always been there, but law school had to come first. Now, we’re all back in the city and the same sparks fly every time I run into her. She needs a job and I need an assistant at the law firm. What could go wrong? I don’t know if I can hide my feelings any longer. I … my feelings any longer.
I know I shouldn’t go there, but I can’t help it.
Corina
My brother’s back in town, and I offer to share my awesome apartment. Imagine my surprise when his best friend Kurt walks in.
He’s still tall, dark, and handsome, and I can’t deny the pull.
Working together only complicates things. Long days and nights in the office can be dangerous.
When we’re not at the office, he’s always hanging around my apartment. To see my brother. Yeah, right.
All I know is, summer in the city is about to get a lot hotter.
After all, 425 Madison is the perfect place to fall in love.

Years earlier Kurt and Corina had an almost moment, but Kurt left for college before anything happened. Now Kurt is back in NY and needs a temporary place to stay so Corina offers her extra bedroom. Corina has been laid off and needs to find a new job. Kurt offers a solution and hires her to be his assistant. soon living and working together brings up old feelings and a relationship between them becomes impossible to avoid the only issue is the fact that Kurts best friend happens to be Corinas brother. So what will win out loyalty or love or will they be worried for nothing? This was a sweet second chance story and a great addition to the 425 Madison series.
From his brother’s best friend to more
Good romance, very well written, but ultimately rather simple. I loved the character of Kurt, the best friend of Corina’s brother who is tenacious, tender, caring despite what he thinks at the beginning of relationships, but I had more trouble with the character of Corina because i found that she spent too much time being scared about the risk that soemeone discvers their relationship.
When Corina’s brother moves in with her, she meets again the best friend of her brother, Kurt. They had had an attraction a few years earlier, but had not tried anything. Immediately, they are attracted again, but Corina is afraid of her brother’s reaction and Kurt is afraid of losing his best friend.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Great quick, easy, sexy read with a HEA.
I am loving all of these 425 Madison Novels.
This book was no different. Great brothers best friend story.
Corina’s recently been laid off and her roommate moves out with no warning to her so when her big brother needs a place temporarily she doesn’t hesitate. Now that Liam is back in NYC working his best friend is also around a lot more and Corina is trying hard to not let her feelings known to anyone.
Kurt is a successful, busy lawyer on Wall St. so when his best friend tells him he is moving to NYC he couldn’t be happier but when he sees Corina for the first time in years, he can’t fight the feelings he’s had for her any longer. Only problem is she is off limits.
A wonderful fun sweet forbidden little sister romance. This smoth flowing descriptive storyline is well written and drama free. This rewarding emotional rollercoaster had me addicted from the start keeping me engaged till the last page is turned. Corina and Kurt almost had a moment years ago, years later their feelings and chemistry had not deminished but had actually intensified. Worry of Liam, her brother’s reaction has them struggling secretly leaving a suspenseful air of can them survive the pressure and have a HEA they both desire. The characters are interesting, well developed and still have a connection in a great journey as these two try to ignore and work through which is obviously the inevitable in this cute, little steamy refreshing story. I voluntarily reviewed this great addition to the 425 Madison series.
This is a short read involving a best friend sister. Kurt and corina almost had a moment years ago but her crush for her older brother best friend never became anything more. Years later Kurt appears back in her life and the sparks fly again. Hiding their feelings for each other and hiding from liam. It’s a nice story with a hea showing that when you really want someone you shouldn’t let others or your self stand in the way.
I felt Corina and Kurt weren’t really together much of the book but were always thinking about each other. I felt we needed to see them together more as a couple
Freaking awesome series and I get more and more excited to see what the next author has in store for us! This author is completely brand new to me and I was eager to see how this best friend’s sister love story played out!!
Corina seemed like a genuine girl who loved her brother and was just going through tough times at the moment. Parts of her story seemed unfinished though, like I could’ve really fell hard for her with more of her past. She’s very closed off and while we only got bits about the past it was enough to make your heart bleed with pain for her. But it fell a little flat for me and I know this wasn’t a dark book but if you add some trauma you should explain it a little more and not just brush it aside.
Kurt was a bit of an unknown card for me. I love that he’s going for what he wants. He isn’t taking any crap from many sides, like dealing with his family, he’s not letting them push him around. I also felt his story was unfinished too because you don’t really know how they overcame each other’s issues. It just seems like we were suppose to know that they talked and Corina’s issues disappear and while I know it could happen but it just seemed very unbelievable for me.
Great story with everything together, but if I’m being picky I just felt they were unfinished. The jump at the end was a bit much for me but I loved it! I loved the idea of best friend’s sisters and the siblings being close in the first place. Great job! Congrats!
Back for More is Book 7 in the 425 Madison series but all of these stories are designed to stand perfectly fine on their own.
This book was a lot of fun and one of the best in the series. The chemistry between Kurt and Corina was off the charts. A classic brother’s best friend story that was extremely well written, pulled me right from the start and kept me engaged throughout. Loved the interactions between the main characters.
Corina isn’t thrilled with her life right now. Single and laid off, her savings are dwindling and the job market in NYC isn’t booming. Her big brother Liam, moves in when he gets a brand new job in the city until he can find an apartment. His first night there, who should follow him through the door but Kurt. Corina crushed on Kurt back in high school but nothing happened. She still thought about him but Liam hadn’t mentioned him in ages. Never did she expect him to walk through her door. Kurt has thought about Corina over the years but he never went there with her. He couldn’t break the bro code back then and date his best friend’s sister. Now they are adults and he has a solution to her problem. He needs an assistant he can trust and she needs a job. He will just have to ignore his desire to kiss her breathless and how she looks at him like he is dessert. That should be no problem, right?
This was a cute tale of two people who are finally in the right place at the right time to explore the attraction between them. Both of them not wanting the complication of a relationship but their physical attraction keeps pulling them together. Corina is a smart woman but the lay off and lack of job offers, along with a bad breakup really did a number on her confidence. Kurt didn’t have the best role model for relationships with his dad being a lawyer too who cheated on his wife. He didn’t have time for a relationship but he can’t ignore how Corina made him feel. I had a lot of fun watching Kurt and Corina discovering what is really important to them and going for it. They finally stopped letting fear control them. Back For More was a sweet, fun read that put a smile on my face!
The emotions WOW!!! My heart strings really pulled with this story and the Chemistry was smoken. I would’ve loved to rate this higher than 5 stars. Amazing story Sylvia Kane.
They almost had a relationship before he left for school. Kurt is back in her life since Liam has moved back to the city. When Corina has a problem finding a job, Kurt offers her the position as his assistant. Working closely with Corina can only bring issues, being best friends with her brother and harboring feelings for Corina. Will this be the ruining of a friendship or the beginning of happily ever after? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
S
Sweet romance. Nice little story of a brothers best friend. Corina hadn’t seen Kurt in some time. When they run into each other, it’s immediate sparks. With a little help from his mom, Kurt doesn’t give up. Nice HEA.
A long dormant attraction explodes into a forever kind of love. At the worst possible time. Kurt and Corina wound themselves around my deepest emotions. Instead of wondering: will they or won’t they, for me, the question was always when. Back for More had me hooked right out of the gate. Kane turns obvious into fabulous and maybe a new addiction. Loved it.
Corina is currently unemployed, her roommate skipped town and so her older brother, Liam, who secured a job in the city has moved in with her to help with bills and until he finds a place of his own.
Kurt is a lawyer, he works long hours and is Liam’s best friend since childhood.
When Liam invites Kurt over one evening Corina is shocked to see him, not for any reason other than the childhood crush she had on him is still there, unbeknown to her, Kurt feels the same! They both remember that almost kiss they didn’t share!
Kurt turns up one night when Liam is out to speak to Corina about a few things and the sparks are flying, but how do you tell your best friend that you want to date his sister! And how does one sister tell her older protective brother that she wants to date his best Friend!
What follows is a sweet story of two people determined to be together but are afraid of the reaction of the one person they care so much about!
I did enjoy this story but felt the ending was a bit rushed.
When she was a teen, Corina developed a little crush on her brother’s best friend Kurt, but with an age difference and him being forbidden, that crush never blossomed into anything more than just some swoony feelings. To be honest she had kind of forgotten about him… that is until her brother shows up at her apartment, with him in tow.
Now that little crush is back full force, and this time there is an unexpected mutual attraction, Kurt seems to be more than a little interested in what is brewing there between them. But acting on said attraction could be trouble… SO much trouble for both of them!
Corina and Kurt’s story had me captivated right from the start… nothing grabs your attention quite like a steamy forbidden romance! As soon as they wandered onto the page it was evident there was something brewing between these two, but that little something was forbidden, and went against bro-code. So they tried their best to ignore it, follow the rules, but you can’t ignore what the heart wants for long! I loved watching these two dance around one another, and fight the obvious sparks, they had dying in anticipation!
Back For More is a charming forbidden romance filled with moments that are destined to give the heartstrings a good little tug! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Book 7 in the series and it does not disappoint. I loved reading Corina & Kurts story. A story of unrequited love, but they just so happen to be all back in New York & Corina living at 425 Madison Avenue. This story has fun, banter, passion, love & chemistry. A combination of all that makes this book so enjoyable to read. I loved both Corina & Kurts parents in the book.. watch out for them. A must read xx
Another cute story in the 425 Madison series! These books are great. None of them are too long so they are fairly quick reads. This one is a brother’s best friend romance. They had the hots for each other in high school, went their separate ways and now they are getting the chance to be together since her brother is older and a bit more reasonable…. or is he? Super cute and fun read!
WOW! WOW! WOW! HOT, STEAMY and CHEMISTRY OFF THE CHARTS ON FIRE!! BACK FOR MORE by Sylvia Kane is #7 In the 425 Madison Series with Other Amazing Authors!!
Sylvia is a New Author for me and She Had me Intrigued from the Very Beginning of the Book and never a Dull moment page after page!!!
