What is The Bachelors Club? It’s a gentleman’s club—like the dignified men of the past used to have. Except, we’re not gentleman, and we’re not dignified. We’re ineligible bachelors, bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually. So committed to being single, we’ve created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest… co-habitating in a shared work space shouldn’t be a big deal. It shouldn’t be distracting. But Spencer Standish saw me puking in a company trash can, and won’t let me live it down. Cheerful, aggravating Spencer, who wants me to fetch her coffee.
As if she’s the boss of me.
And now I’m stuck sharing her office.
Let’s face facts: I can’t be in a relationship; not when there’s a bet to win—not with Spencer, who loves my uncontrollable basset hound, lazy Sundays, and grilled cheese as much as I do. I refuse to fall for her.
I will be the last Bachelor standing.

FOUR FUNNY STARS for Spencer and Phillip !!!
“Bachelor Boss” is the second book from “The Bachelors Club”. It’s the cute, sweet and extremely funny romantic-comedy book for reading.
I enjoyed every page I’ve read because it’s made me laugh the whole time and also it made me forget about real life.
Spencer and Phillip’s relationship is everything and their conversations are one of my favorite things in this book.
If you’re looking for a rom-com and you also love Sara Ney’s books, then this is a book for you!
I liked this book, however I loved the Douchebag series way better. I didn’t connect with the characters as much in this one and I’m hoping the next one I click with. I love Sara Neys writing and that was an absolute funny, and joyous thing to read. I think this one just had too much cussing but that’s also her style and it wasn’t out of place – I just didn’t connect with it. Overall, this is a good read but just know the language is a little much.
Bachelor Boss is the second book in the series leaving Phillip and Blaine to battle for the big win over the bet on who can remain a bachelor. Brooks has already bowed out as he is happily in love with Abbott which we found out in book one. This book is funny! The banter is off the charts and the self dialogue is priceless. And the timing for a book like this couldn’t be better. Phillip has to move in with an office mate as new carpeting is put in on his side of the building. No big deal right, except he walks in the expected new office and sees the gorgeous sassy women, Spencer Standish, who he humiliated himself in front of when he puked in a trash can that morning. It wouldn’t have been as bad but he got sick because his pride would not let him back down from eating expired cream cheese on his bagel when the beautiful girl challenged him not to eat it. And so it begins. The sparing quickly turns into easy conversation and then difficulty ignoring the intense physical attraction. It was nice that they got to know each other as friends before acting on their chemistry. This is a lighthearted, fun story with so much added from the secondary characters of Brooks, Blaine, Paul (from the office) and Miranda who is Spencer’s best friend. And of course Humphrey!!! You will definitely want this to be your next 1 click!!!

Bachelor Boss….here comes bachelor #2 , meet Phillip and he my friend is about to meet his match.
The Bachelor Club was started on a whim by three friends Brooke, Blaine and Phillip. They have decided that love and marriage is not for them and they have bet a few prizes that shall be awarded to the last man standing.
The lovely Spencer is certainly a force to be reckoned with. The moment she spots Phillip he is in a compromising position and she begins to taunt him and really ruffle his feathers . Soon after their breakroom tussle they find out they have been thrown together at officemates for a week. Get ready for the closeness to make more awkward fun for these two !
This was a funny, quirky, laugh out loud tale of two opposites that are about to meet their match in the battle of wits!

I love this new series, slow burn, sweet and easy read with the humor that Sara Ney always has. Phillip and Spencer made this story wonderful to read, a nerd and a woman that is not your average heroine, they are forced to live together because of work and everything changes for them both. The quirky cute moments, makes this an easy read story, with low angst but adorable characters. Waiting for the audiobooks in the future.
Bachelor Boss is a enemies to lovers office romance, and the second title in the Bachelors Club. It’s a light hearted and fun read with witty, fun and at times awkward banter.
Phillip is sweet, loveable and more than a little nerdy, whilst Spencer is sassy, sarcastic and gives as good as she gets. This pair are constantly bickering, but it’s really a form of verbal foreplay.
Whilst their romance is a slow burn, and low in drama, I found this pair to be quite likeable and realistic and look forward to the next title in this series.
This 5 star read from Sara Ney took me in right from the start. Phillip’s messy, nerdy look but also very cute (according to Spencer) and Spencer’s beautiful, lady boss. This is a wonderfull enemies/co-workers to lovers romance with a lovely happy ever after.
I also love that we get a couple point of views of Humphrey, the dog of Phillip, this is just to cute.
My favorite quote: ” If I were a peacock – and if I weren’t being thoroughly fucked – I’d parade back and forth in the room, showing of, the compliment spurring me on. “

After an embarrassing and somewhat stubborn first encounter Phillip now finds himself sharing a workspace with Spencer. These two butt heads constantly and seem to purposely want to annoy each other but also can’t help the attraction they feel. Only problem is Phillip and his friends have a bet going on and he wants to win but to do so that means he must remain the last Bachelor Standing. Easy right?
In true Sara Ney fashion the banter was on point in this story. It was witty and super funny. It was sweet at times and the low drama made this just an all round easy book to read. I loved both Phillip & Spencer. Their arguments were hilarious and rather juvenile and they often reminded me of pre school children being asked to share their favourite toy but honestly it just made each interaction between them entertaining.
Even though I enjoyed the story it was also rather short. I feel I didn’t have enough time to really connect with the couple and would’ve rathered more development where their relationship was concerned. It just felt like it could’ve used a few more chapters towards the end. I will say though that I liked how realistic and normal their relationship felt. It wasn’t over the top lust filled and didn’t play out like an unrealistic fantasy which I actually thought was very fitting for these two but I just wish we got more of them as a couple.
Also shoutout to the dog Humphrey coz he really was a Boss
The BACHELORS are back at it again and another one bites the dust in the newest installment in Sara Ney’s standalone Bachelors Club series!
Bachelor Boss is another hilariously entertaining romantic comedy from the incredibly talented Sara Ney and I couldn’t get enough of these two. Phillip McGuire and Spencer Standish were absolutely adorkable and I found myself addicted to their bantering moments right from the very first scene they shared. Lets just say I will NEVER look at cream cheese the same way (yuck ). I mean to be fair Spencer did try to warn him, but of course Phillip was a little stubborn and didn’t listen. Oh and don’t even get me started on their slow burn romance that had me swooning as it pulled on all of my heartstrings! Their chemistry was EVERYTHING and I never wanted it to end. Not only did I love them, but it was nice visiting old characters (Brooks & Blaine) and our newest furry friend (Humphrey).
This story is a MUST read for all fans of romcoms because Sara Ney is a queen of them and she ALWAYS has me laughing my ass off the entire time I am devouring all the words. Now I cannot freaking wait to get my hands on Blaine’s story because I have a strong feeling that he WILL find himself falling the hardest of all of our bachelors!
4 Stars!
Having read Bachelor Society I’ve been looking forward to the next Bachelors Club book! I got into this story from the start and I didn’t want to turn away from my kindle. This was such an enjoyable read for me!
From the priceless moments to the ones that kept me grinning, Spencer and Phillip’s journey was entertaining from beginning to end! I loved their banter and how they kept cracking me up throughout. Their story was just what I needed!
Ms.Ney has created such an awesome read with Bachelor Boss! I can’t wait for the next book!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wildfire Marketing Solutions / the author*
I needed this in my life! Humph reminded me so much of my poodle that I laughed out loud way too much with their interactions! the banter between the characters was everything! It was a light, funny and swoon worthy story!
This one was perfect to lighten my mood on this days of uncertainty, is funny, sweet and with the perfect amount of romance, love the chemistry and the evolution of them as a couple, and the other characters and the dog fit perfectly with the whole package, highly recommend this one.

Oh my word this was the freaking funniest thing I have read in day. These two had me LoL.
Phillip is sort of squatting in Spencer’s office as the part of the building his office is in is being remodeled. And Spencer is not liking this at all. So when she lets Philipp eat expired cream cheese and he gets sick afterwards, all bets are off. From then its a hate-love kind of relationship.
This was a really funny book, exactly what you would expect from this author. Its a bit slow on the romance, as it only starts picking up about more than half way through the book, but still I really wanted to see how this was going to end, so it didn’t phase me at all. It will definitely have you intrigued and on the low angst radar if that’s what you into. I am looking forward to the next one in this series.

Phillip and Blaine are the last men standing. He really wants to win the bet he and the other guys have, and thinks it’ll be no problem to avoid falling for a woman, considering he hasn’t been with one in awhile, and hasn’t even met one he’s interested in. And then the day happens. The day when a really sassy, obnoxious (gorgeous) coworker watches him puke into the trashcan after he eats a bagel with expired cream cheese. And then they have to share an office. And then somehow he can’t stop thinking about her even as she drives him crazy with her mouthy attitude and beautiful lips.
Bachelor Boss is just the lighthearted, funny read I needed after having been stuck inside going stir crazy during this time of sheltering in place for weeks on end. It’s not particularly deep or even very sexy, but it is fun and funny and Phillip and Spencer’s banter and barbs are hilarious. I can picture them in my head and the thought makes me laugh my ass off. Just the thing needed in this world of stay at home and worry we are all facing right now.

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
This was a really easy and light hearted read. Two colleagues who suddenly meet in the break room, and end up sharing an office due to renovations. The banter between Spencer and Phillip had me laughing out loud from the start.
These two were lots of fun, and I really enjoyed breezing through this story. Second the series but easily read as a standalone. (I myself haven’t read the first book yet). I liked how these two would jibe at each other, but they both knew it was in jest and not serious. Their dynamic was quite interesting. I also loved the bits with Humphrey. What a bugger he was!
Easy read, really enjoyable, definitely recommend.
So much goodness in one sweet and snarky read…
This author has a wonderful flair for douche-y yet completely irresistible male leads. I don’t want to like them but they are just so pretty even as these, these words continue to spew from their mouths. A nod to the author that has me shaking my head but enjoying them at the same time. And their strong, funny and equally compelling counterparts? Yeah, this reading gift just keeps on giving as women take them on head (and heart) full on. This is the second the series and with it brought more of the ‘determined to never love’ boys who are being knocked over by the romantic stuff one hold out at a time…
Phillip made me laugh out loud with his bumbling yet totally workable take on life. From his first hilarious meeting with Spencer I knew she was going to keep on his toes. And did she ever! Their banter was sexy and sweet with the need to chuckle or laugh out loud part of every conversation. Was it love at first sight? I think so, though disguised in snarky talk and lots, lots, of protesting.
Throwing in an adorable dog felt almost overdone as I was a fan already! There will be more and I’m not unhappy one little bit that I get another glimpse of those snappy blazers…

After finishing Bachelor Society I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of this story and I could not wait to dive in. I thought Brooks had my heart, but I think Phillip has stolen it. I laughed a lot as one does when reading Sara Ney, and it was very much needed for me right now. This series reminds me why I love reading so much. It’s my escape from all the ugly/scary things in the world around us right now. It’s perfect to devour while staying in. Do yourself a favor and pick up this series, it’s a must read!
Bachelor Boss is the 2nd book in The Bachelors Club. So this time it’s Phillip’s and Spencer’s turn. Book 1 was Bachelor Society and was Brooks and Abbott’s story.
The winner of the Bachelor Society wins big. No one is to know about it. There are rules and of those rules one of them is to not solely date 1 woman and the winner is the one who remains single. The race is on but the next member will fall in love!
I love books that make you laugh and fall in love and Bachelor Boss certainly fits that bill. And, what makes a story even better is a cat or a dog. Not just any cat or dog though. They even get their own chapters. Duchess Desdamona was in Book 1 the Bachelor Society. And Humphrey’s was in this book. Both Desdamona and Humphrey’s were the true bosses.
This was an enjoyable & funny book. Although it was a little rushed towards the ending. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Bachelor Boss is an office romance gone awry! Sara Ney slays me with each of her books. With characters that lack filters, and the uncharted unknown, I’m always guaranteed sore cheeks from laughing after I finish reading, and the Bachelors Club series is one you don’t want to miss. It can be read as a stand alone, but you’ll enjoy it much more if you read them in order. You’re guaranteed a good time with plenty of laugh out loud moments you won’t forget!
Sara Ney never lets me down when it comes to well-written, witty, laugh out loud romcoms, and in her newest release, Bachelor Boss, book two in The Bachelors Club series, she combines her clever word play with a few of my favorite tropes – enemies-to-lovers and office romance, which means that the snark and put downs will be in large quantity has these two office mates work to get under each other’s skin while also fighting their mutual attraction, but for much different reasons.
Phillip is most definitely an ineligible bachelor, and when it comes to winning a bet, he’ll do whatever it takes to be the last man standing. Too bad things start to stack against him when he’s forced to share an office with who he sees as the bane of his existence and unknowingly, at least at first, the woman who could make him give up his bachelorhood and make him lose the bachelor bet.
I’m all about a quirky heroine and Spencer definitely fits that category. In some ways, I think unconventional characters are the most authentic because, in my opinion, they’re more real and easier to connect with, and readers get to see Spencer hold her own with Phillip and give as good as she gets, which make for some amazing verbal sparring scenes.
Phillip and Spencer’s relationship is definitely a slow-burn, which makes sense given the apparent disdain that surrounds them when they’re in the same space. But it’s clear that there’s an underlying sexual tension brewing between them, and once those looks of contempt become ones of interest and desire, it’s only a matter of time until these two realize just how compatible they are.
The fact that the story is told in both main characters’ POVs as well as an important secondary character makes Bachelor Boss one humorous and entertaining read, and I can’t wait to see the other bachelors lose the bet and their hearts.
