What is The Bachelors Club? It’s a gentleman’s club—like the dignified men of the past used to have. Except, we’re not gentleman, and we’re not dignified. We’re ineligible bachelors, bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually. So committed to being single, we’ve created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest… co-habitating in a shared work space shouldn’t be a big deal. It shouldn’t be distracting. But Spencer Standish saw me puking in a company trash can, and won’t let me live it down. Cheerful, aggravating Spencer, who wants me to fetch her coffee.
As if she’s the boss of me.
And now I’m stuck sharing her office.
Let’s face facts: I can’t be in a relationship; not when there’s a bet to win—not with Spencer, who loves my uncontrollable basset hound, lazy Sundays, and grilled cheese as much as I do. I refuse to fall for her.
I will be the last Bachelor standing.

Bachelor Boss was such a fastpaced hilarious read. This is something you can always guarantee from Sara Ney as she is a RomCom Queen; once more leaving me in a fit of laughter!
Phillip is part of the Bachelor Bastard Society and the 2nd man left standing after Brooks falls in love with Abott in book 1.
Phillip is assigned an office mate at his job, and from the moment he meets Spencer it’s a battle of wits. Constant back and forth, bantering, and arguing. Spencer has this cute bohemanian chic style to her. She loves cake and is quirky and fun. She’s from the marketing department, the south side of the building. Sharing her space with Phillip becomes her new adventure. They constantly busted each other’s chops. Soon their feelings turn into those of attraction and they can no longer fight them.
One of my favorite elements of this series has to be the involvement of the pets lol. Book 1 had Desdemona, the evil cat and in this one we have Humphrey, the lazy basset hound. Reading Phillip’s interactions with his dog gave this story spunk and so much life!
Overall, the story was a bit of a slow burn. The romance build up took awhile, not really developing until close to the end. Even then, it felt like there wasn’t much romance because it was wrapped up quickly. Although this one didn’t turn out to be a favorite, I enjoyed those heartwarming and sweet moments that filled up the pages. I’m looking forward to Blaine’s book next!

I really enjoyed this book and it made me really giggle from the start. The opening scenes between Phillip and Spencer were hysterical and I’ll never look at cream cheese the same again. However, the reason for this rating is because romance wise there really wasn’t any until around 70%.
I mean the build of the story was indeed needed but I feel there should have been more romance and a little less games. The characters are brilliant, funny and engaging. The banter and laughs for me saved this book.
Again I found the dog POV strange but funny. It does make you wonder if they really think like that. I’ll be looking at pets totally differently from now on.
I do recommend this light and fun read. It’s quick and will leave you smiling.

Funny, light and fast-paced. Sara Ney definitely knows how to brighten reader’s day with her sense of humor and witty banter that fills her stories. Bachelor Boss is a hilarious book, full of funny and adorable moments and just the right amount of sexual tension between main characters.
Phillip is another member of Bastard Bachelor Society, determined to win. However, renovation at his workplace forces him to share the office with a beautiful, nosy and quirky office-mate. Innocent disagreements and sarcastic put-downs turn into lingering glances and what-ifs. But is gorgeous Spencer that Phillip knows only a few days worth waving the white flag?
Phillip and Spencer’s story brought me a lot of entertainment, I was constantly laughing out loud and wiping tears from my eyes. It was also totally swoon-worthy and adorable read. No one is able to beat Sara Ney with the sarcastic and hilarious sentences and the amount of cuteness she puts in her books. This author has mastered writing rom-coms to perfection!
This is a fun and sweet story about finding love at work.
Standalone with no Cliffhangers.
Neither where looking for love but they found it.
Spencer is a fun loving woman who has to share her office for a week. Who knew the grumpy guy would become so much more.
Phillip can’t afford to fall for his hot, sweet, food sharing office mate. He has a bet to win.
Great banter, it has me laughing out loud.

”I LIKE YOU. AND NAPS”
Sweet, cute, funny and low on the drama. Just the way I like my rom-com’s. First kiss happens about 68% in. So low on the heat level.
I loved the basset hound, Humphrey. Reminded me of my dog. Super spoiled, doesn’t listen and just lays around sleeping or eating. Just like with the first book, we get a couple chapters from the pets POV. I don’t know why, but I find this extremely entertaining.
I enjoyed this romcom story by author Sara Ney who had me cracking up with the witty banter and dialogue between Phillip and Spencer. This was a quick read and just what I needed. The majority of the book was them trying to co-exist working in the same office as feelings began to develop between them and towards the end, they finally did something about it. Their relationship seemed to have been rushed at the end and I would have liked to see more.
Office Romance | Romantic Comedy
Bachelor Boss is a quick, easy read and had many laugh out loud moments. Readers can be sure to read blast through this one as it’s a fairly short read and giggle the whole way through. While I did enjoy the book for its humor, it was severely lacking romance. Much of the book was back and forth bickering between the two main characters. While their banter was certainly funny, I never felt the sparks between them which is something the book NEEDED in order for it to feel like a romance. I appreciate the book for what it is, but I missed the authors trademark romance style in this one.
I don’t have all that much else to say about this one other than Humphrey stole the show! I love how in this one (and the previous book in the series) that the pets get a POV within the story. Hysterical!
If you’re looking for a light and breezy read and want to catch up with these bachelors, you can certainly give this one a go! Just don’t expect anything serious
This was a good fast read! I read it in one sitting. It was a low drama book. I really enjoyed it! Loved the banter between Phillip and Spencer. There were multiple laugh out loud moments for me. I just wished it was longer!!! All in all though great book! Would definitely recommend to others!
Received an arc for an honest opinion.
Another cute and quirky romance to add to the Sara Ney pile.
Spencer & Phillip have just become unlikely office mates. Phillip’s side of the building has to be redone and while he waits he gets to spend his week working in Spencer’s office.
They both do not get off to a great start. Even though there’s a mutual attraction Spencer is goofy & sarcastic, which Philip tries his hardest to hate (instead he secretly digs it)
Phillip is deep down a sweet guy who wants the white picket fence but has never had luck. While Spencer is a ball buster & says what’s on her mind so she’s never had luck either. But could this unlikely pair have Phillip throwing the towel in on his bachelor bet?
The back and forth banter is really cute. It was fun the creative ways they drove each other nuts. I also love the inclusion of the pets in this series. It’s very different compared to come of Sara’s other books, it’s fluffier & sweeter. Although I cannot say this one is one my favorites. It fell short for me as a slow burn that felt like it was forever burning. We don’t see any action until maybe the 70-80% mark & then it kind of gets straight to epilogue. That was a little disappointing.
Overall I did enjoy it and I definitely read it in one sitting because it was cute & angsty. I just wanted a little more of these two, so now I’ll be not so patiently waiting to read Blaine’s book!!

Sara Ney is a master at writing unputdownable, heart pounding reads!
Gah!! This is another read where Sara Ney has completely captivated my attention. Throughout this novel, you will laugh, swoon, your heart will pound, and your pulse will race. You will have so many thoughts running through your mind, that you will not know what to think, other than the fact that you will fall in love with the characters. They will steal your attention away from whatever is going on in the real world.
Sara Ney and her words provide the perfect escape!
Go pick up this novel today! You will not regret it!

Another member fo the Bachelor Club has fallen and it was a sweet and fun ride. I wasn’t overwhelmed with this read but I spent an afternoon en joying it and it was certainly a fantastic romance.
These two were hilarious. From the moment I met these two I knew they were going to be hilarious. They knew exactly what to say to elicit reactions from each other and it made it an entertaining read to say the least. I loved getting to know them.
I wasn’t as obsessed with this read as I was the first. I don’t know if it was the fact that I truly just LOVED the first two character and these two felt like secondaries to me, but Whatever it was It jut didn’t hit that BAM spot for me. I did really enjoy it as a standalone on its own though. It was sweet and funny and a good afternoon read.
Bachelor Boss was exactly what I needed!
It made me laugh … a lot and the banter was excellent!
Another good story by the author spiced up by hot hot sexy scenes!

Sara Ney’s Bachelor Boss was a slow burn office rom-com with butting heads and charming snark!
Phillip was a lovable hero with just enough bravado coupled with stubbornness and a touch of neurotic to come off as an entertaining sexy oddball. Spencer was a constant source of uninhibited humor and cheeky observations, making her a heroine who was a force to be reckoned with. The smart banter that moved this couple’s courtship was fun and silly, add the inclusion of feedback from Phillip’s adorably obnoxious dog Humphrey and the result was a lighthearted and enjoyable read. With an abundance of humor this story felt a little unbalanced regarding the romantic aspect of this relationship.
Sara Ney was reliably witty In Bachelor Boss and took care in showcasing fallibility with kindness and laughs for likable characters. This author writes with an ease that makes her audience comfortable as she lets her portrayal’s guards down. Bachelor Boss was a nice read full of sweet antics and engaging characters!
*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.*
*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*
Bachelor Boss by Sara Ney is the second book in her Bachelors Club series. A funny story set around three male best friends who decide to make their own gentlemans club with rules about no-dating, with a challenge where they each put up high stakes, and don’t forget the velvet smoking jackets. When best friend number two, Philip, has to share a work space with another co-worker while carpet is being replaced in his side of the building he never expects to fall in love with her. She tormented him the first day they met, annoyed him with her office habits, and deliberately got under his skin, but the chemistry and passion cannot be denied, even if it means forfeiting his 4-wheeler in the challenge in his secret society Bachelors Club. Well-written and well-paced, this story is funny, quirky, the characters are dimensional and the brief glimpse of Brooks from book one, Bachelor Society, and a chapter or two from the basset hound, Humphrey round a great quick read! Enjoy!

If you are looking for a sweet, charming, read filled with quirky characters, fun banter and dialogue, you can’t go wrong with Bachelor Boss by Sara Ney!
Phillip is one of two single guys left in their club of three. He has no intention of losing their bet and every intention of being the last bachelor standing. Too bad, he didn’t see Spencer coming! She is about to turn his life upside down!
The two work on opposite sides of the same company. They have never met, but oh what a first meeting they have, imagine expired cream cheese and barfing in a wastebasket. To add insult to injury, they now have to share the same office space while renovations are being done on Phillip’s side of the company. Each of them know how to get under each other’s skin, and it becomes their favorite past time, each trying to annoy the other one! What begins as aggravation and mild dislike of one another turns to friendship and more. All this happens within the span of a week. Some would think that the book would be too rushed, but not in Sara Ney’s talented hands. It works, and it works well.
This romance is different from others I have read, but I really liked it. Phillip isn’t the sexy alpha male. He’s sexy, but more in a nerdy way! He was a sweetheart!!!! Spencer is sassy, but she is also sweet and takes care of our hero. The two are perfectly matched. Much of the book is dialogue driven as the setting takes place mostly in their shared office. It was refreshing and fun to read something a bit different.
I have saved the best for last, Humphrey, Phillip’s precocious basset hound. I’m a dog lover, and I have two labs that are quite similar to Humphrey, so I LOVED this addition. AND….he got his own chapters!!!! It couldn’t be more perfect!!!!!
I LOVED this addition to the series, and I loved that I had a smile throughout most of the book. It was a nice distraction from the real world!!!!!
I was a little nervous when I picked this book up. I read the first book in the series and it just missed the mark for me, which sux because I love Sara Ney’s How to Date a Douchebag series so much, I just wanted to love it. So I was apprehensive about this one but I had to try.
I didn’t read the blurb for this. I just knew it was one of the other bastards and since I wasn’t massive fans of either, I didn’t have an opinion on which one I would have preferred. Phillip was actually a lot less douchey than I was expecting and I actually found I quite liked him.
It might have had something to do with the fact he was completely owned by his misbehaving pooch. Because, let’s be honest no one can dislike a guy who puts up with that much crap from their dog. Aside from that he also tried so hard not to like Spencer but he wasn’t an arse about it. And once he realised how much he liked her he didn’t mess around.
Spencer was quirky. She was so her own person and I really had fun reading all the crazy things she just let fire from her mouth. And she didn’t try to play it cool or hide her interest but she called him out when he was an idiot. I think she would be someone awesome to kick back and have a drink with.
I am so glad I enjoyed this book. It was a perfect read for a lazy afternoon full of giggles and aww moments and I’m really looking forward to seeing the next bastard fall.
Spencer’s easy-going, amusing, but then sometimes she would get shy. Even though they’ve known each other for just a few days, their chemistry is good and their banter is very funny and witty. But this was definitely a slow burn though.
I think this was a little different than the previous book in the series, and it’s a wonderful rom-com if you’re looking for something to read
I love that the Bachelor Club guys think that they will be bachelors for life. As soon as they created the club they have found women in total ordinary situations. Phillip and Spenser’s start was less than romantic but their story played out perfectly. From strangers, to office mates to love in less than a week. Their office antics are laugh worthy but it takes a big sweet basset hound to help bring them together. Spenser is sweet, sassy and independent. Phillip is smart and stubborn, with a heart of gold underneath. This is such a fun couple and again I loved that Humphrey (said dog) also gets his own chapters live Desdemona, the cat, did in the first book.

This read is definitely different from what I’m used to reading. Low on the steam but I enjoyed the banter and laugh out loud moments. If your looking for a feel good read that’ll make you laugh and smile then this is the book for you. I loved the characters. Spencer’s humor and sarcasm was super entertaining. And Phillip was sweet, sexy, and smart with a bit of a goof ball thrown in. I definitely recommend this read!
Sara Ney delivered another hilariously entertaining, sweet, sexy and unputdownable romance. I absolutely adored Phillip and Spencer from the minute I started reading this book. I read Bachelor Boss in one sitting and if you’re looking for a way to escape the quarantine we’re all facing, this book is going to give you that escape! Just as I’ve come to expect with a book written by Sara Ney, Bachelor Boss was full of snarky dialect, heat, and laugh out loud moments that had me turning page after page. Phillip and Spencer were instantly attracted to one another and yet they also needled one another incessantly giving the book a frenemies-to-lovers vibe. Truthfully, Bachelor Boss is my favorite book in the series so far. If your new to Sara’s writing, have no fear, Bachelor Boss is a standalone romance in a series, so you don’t have to read Bastard Bachelor Society first. And Sara is famous for delivering epically entertaining stories with an expressive writing style. Absolutely one-click worthy!
