What is The Bachelors Club? It’s a gentleman’s club—like the dignified men of the past used to have. Except, we’re not gentleman, and we’re not dignified. We’re ineligible bachelors, bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually. So committed to being single, we’ve created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest… co-habitating in a shared work space shouldn’t be a big deal. It shouldn’t be distracting. But Spencer Standish saw me puking in a company trash can, and won’t let me live it down. Cheerful, aggravating Spencer, who wants me to fetch her coffee.
As if she’s the boss of me.
And now I’m stuck sharing her office.
Let’s face facts: I can’t be in a relationship; not when there’s a bet to win—not with Spencer, who loves my uncontrollable basset hound, lazy Sundays, and grilled cheese as much as I do. I refuse to fall for her.
I will be the last Bachelor standing.

4 Office Sharing At It’s Best Stars!!!
From the very first page of this book I knew I was going to love it…you see our hero Phillip was having a full on conversation with his dog Humphrey and I too do that on an almost daily basis..but I digress… This man is sweet and charming, witty and smart and he’s part of the Bachelors Club with no plans to fall in love with anyone other than Humphrey and that all changes when he’s forced to spend a week with Spencer sharing an office space.
I had an immediate affinity for this girl. She’s snarky and says what’s on her mind and their first meeting had me laughing out loud because EWWWW… yeah I’ll let you experience that for yourself LOL!! I knew when these two were forced to share space it was going to be an interesting week to say the least!
This book moves at a quick pace and watching these two “bicker” and realize that there’s more beneath the surface was a true joy. And watching another Bachelor bite the dust was oh so much fun. This is a perfect addition to this light and fun series and I’m ready to see which woman will take Blaine’s heart hostage!
You would think Phillip would be the boss but not in this case. Spencer gives Phillip a run for his money and I had so many moments that I laughed out loud. This is a light, funny, romance that will have you giddy. Although the romance part is somewhat short, I couldn’t help but enjoy the banter between the men and seeing Phillip try hard to win the bet. But you can’t beat love.
Sara. Freaking. Ney. She keeps wowing me with her books. I loved Spencer & Phillip. They were both delightfully snarky, kind of a$$#oles, and oddly sweet. This book was hilarious and so entertaining. I loved seeing Phillip open up a bit more and I loved seeing how these men just stumble their way into love. Also, Humphrey. He’s the best! I love the chapters from the pets perspectives.
***4 Stars***
After finishing the first book in the series, I found myself in a bit of a…strange place with this series, one I definitely do not find myself in a lot, where I didn’t really care for the two men left standing when it came to the bet, but totally wanting to see them both fail miserably and be brought to their knees by a woman.
A bit mercenary? Maybe, but come on? This “bet” *scoffs*
Anyways, when the next was announced, and dropped on the Kindle, I was so ready to bear witness to the downfall of another member of the Society and I gotta say it was a lot of fun to watch Phillip meet his match (and then some) in Spencer. Spencer was a hoot. This woman definitely gives as good as she gets. Spencer. It was hard not to actually like the guy, regardless of the bet. He’s a little quirky, but does have a good heart.
As for their journey…well…the romance. The I love yous with hearts, flowers, angsty, smexy time moments were kinda scarce and didn’t really show up until the end of the book BUT I can’t deny that while I didn’t get a lot of that stuff, I still really enjoyed watching Spencer and Phillip go at it verbally with each other. It was flirting and getting to know each other in a totally different way and it worked for me. So, while I would have liked more romance, I still really enjoyed it and how things ended up for them.
This was a quick, fun read and while Duchess Desdamona is still my favorite, Humphrey’s was a cutie, even with all the drool. And we are down to Blaine being the last man standing and I cannot wait to see just who knocks him on his arse!

Bachelor Boss was such a light and short read. I didn’t read the first book, Bachelor Society, but it doesn’t matter because it can be read as a standalone.
Our main protagonist, Philip, was such an old style type of guy. So nerdy and composed. He looked like he was older than his age, but not in the wrong way. His opening chapter was hilarious, and I especially loved his dog. We also get two chapters from his POV! lol.
Spencer is our female protagonist. She’s chatty, sarcastic, and in many things she’s Philip’s opposite. I really liked her because she was funny and I liked how she reacted in various situations in the story.
Philip and Spencer meet because he is temporary moved to her office, since they are re-doing the carpet in his side of the floor. At first they can’t stand each other, but after a few days, they realize that they might be interested in each other.
Like I said above, this book was short and very light, very drama-free. The story develops in a few days but it’s not an insta-love… I mean, yes, they are attracted to each other, but I was thankful the author didn’t throw the L word around. I don’t know why she didn’t write a longer book, because with Spencer and Philip’s personalities, as well as Humphrey’s (the dog), it could have come out a nice romance. This is the reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The length. I am usually not into novellas kind of stories unless there is a stronger build up. I’m not saying there wasn’t a build up here, just that I prefer books with more of it. Maybe, if the story hadn’t covered the span of 4-5 days, it would have been better and I would have find it more “stronger”. Regardless, it was a nice read and I will probably read the first and the last book.
