Warlord Wulf thought nothing could be worse than being tortured and contaminated by the Hive. That was before he’s ordered to transport to Earth and represent The Colony in an unfamiliar horror… a human reality show. The Bachelor Beast is the hottest new program on Earth, but being set up with two dozen clingy females is not his idea of a good time. When his Beast refuses to show the slightest … interest in any of the show’s potential mates, he knows he must choose one or die due to his raging mating fever.
His Beast prefers execution to claiming anyone but his true mate. Wulf is resigned to his fate, a one-way trip to Atlan, a prison cell and execution. It is the only honorable thing left to do.
Until one glance, one sweet, feminine scent lingering in the air and his beast rages for a female who is not supposed to be his.
But try telling that to his Beast when his entire body transforms on live television and one simple word thunders from his lips…MINE.

Warlord Wulf is developing mating fever so the Colony thinks he would be an excellent ambassador to get more women to sign up for the Interstellar Brides program and asked to be placed in the Colony. However, what they didn’t tell him, is that he would be searching for his own mate on a reality tv show. What could go wrong?
Olivia is a makeup artist for a tv program and is used to being behind the scenes. She has recently become a mother-figure for her niece and nephew and is cleaning up after her late brother messes. Her situation is less than ideal and she fantasizes about a different life. But, with her current situation…every man she’s dated runs the other way once he finds out that she is taking care of two young children. However, recently her fantasy’s have taken on a different note, Warlord Wulf keeps her awake at night, and enters her dreams.
Warlord Wulf is not happy to be on a reality tv program to find a mate. His beast is especially not happy. Neither he or his beast are attracted to the girls presented to him on the reality show, but now that he is down to the last two women, he knows he has to make a choice. Who will get his cuffs and become his mate? What will his beast do when he makes that dreaded decision.
That’s as far as I am going to go. No spoilers here! This book was great! It was fun, it was sexy, it was emotional, it was everything. I have a special place in my heart for those veteran’s on the Colony, and I want them all to find their mates and happiness!
This book gets all my recommendations, and I will continue to read everything that Grace Goodwin writes! If you like hot dominate and grumpy aliens that can go into beast-mode looking for their one true mate…this book is for you!
Grace Goodwin is a one-click comfort read of mine. When the real world isn’t so good, her fated mates alien sexy reads are the best Rx. She is always heavier on the steam that my usuals, and now it’s my reader expectation whenever I pick up one of her books. I know it’ll have alien species of amazing hotties finding a fated mates bride, that it has action, that there will be a HEA, and that it’ll be super steamy. This one didn’t disappoint. I devoured it in a day.
Bachelor Beast (Interstellar Brides® Program: The Beasts Book 1) by Grace Goodwin is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number one in this wonderful highly addicting start to a brand new series that I have loved reading and can not wait to read the next book in this wonderful series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters and paranormal romances.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This was so great. A totally different look for finding your mate. Wulf was so yummy sounding and I loved Olivia and how she wanted what was best for niece and nephew. Wulf was so good for Olivia. He wanted to give her everything and take care of her and the ones she cares about. Makes my heart melt just reading that. Of course he is also a beast so there is definitely yummy times as well!
I’ve been looking forward to Warlord Wulf’s story for quite a while and it was fantastic. The idea of sending an Atlan to Earth for a dating show was hilarious. I for one would definitely watch it. There was romance, action and some serious subject matter combined into an entertaining and delightful story. Olivia and her family debate their happiness. The book was the highlight of my day!
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
I loved this book and thought it was a great start to this new series. I thought Wulf was so incredibly swoon worthy. I found him sweet, funny, intense, protective and quite honestly, I simply just loved his whole attitude. This beast alien was a really good guy and very honorable male. I liked Olivia but disliked some of her actions. All together though I thought this was an excellent read and I can’t wait to read more books in this series. I am posting a candid review of my own accord.
I loved this story that is set on Earth. Rachel and Lindsey, from previous stories, have come up with the idea of a bachelor show on TV with 24 candidates. Wulf is an Atlan who has mating fever. He is supposed to choose one of them but his beast will not choose any of them. And then his beast sees Olivia, a part time makeup artist, and claims her as his. There is a lot that happens before they have their HEA, but it is a great book! I received a copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Warlord Wulf is an Atlan that has been altered by The Hive so he cannot go back to his home planet. Instead he resides on a planet named The Colony, which is a collection of wounded warriors from all over the universe. To bring more brides to The Colony to marry the warriors and lift moral, Wulf is chosen to star on the Earth reality show “Bachelor Beast.” He has wined, dined, and whittled the choice down to two lovely Earth ladies. However, there is one problem, Wulf’s inner beast does not want either of the contestants. And there is another problem, if Wulf is not mated soon, not only has he failed his fellow warriors on The Colony, but life will end. In steps, literally, Olivia Mercier, the reality show’s makeup artist. She has always wanted to be an intergalactic bride, but due to her two kids, she is not a candidate. Her stumbling steps end up setting off a chain of events that lead to humor, steamy encounters, touching moments, a few tears, and a lot of Alpha maleness!
This is the first novel I have read by Grace Godwin and it is the first novel in this series that I have read. You do not need to read the other novels in the series to follow this storyline. I absolutely loved this story. It was right amounts of steamy encounters, laughter, and touching moments. I do not want to give away any spoilers, but Wulf is the most endearing and loving Alpha that I have ever read. I simply love him. Olivia is a peach as well. She is parts realism, fantasy, and Mama Bear. Although Olivia initially was down on herself because of her physical appearance, she was able to let that go and let Wulf love her like she needed to be loved. And those two kids are so sweet. There were a lot of teary moments with Wulf and the kids. I am going to save this ARC edition to read at another time. It was a super awesome read.
I received a free advanced reader copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
OMG this book is Warlord Wulf story and I was super excited to read his book. Warlord Wulf is a Atlan warrior who has a beast inside of him and when the beast say one word Mine watch out this book is filled with adventure great story plot great romance chemistry is smoking hot between the MC. I couldn’t get enough of this book. No spoilers here I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I LOVED the whole new concept of this series. Instead of aliens kidnapping women, Grace has delivered us a new take… aliens coming to Earth to participate in a show just like the Bachelor. Perfect! Too bad it’s not going to plan. I think his possession of her made me nearly squeal in delight. Not only did I gobble up this book, but I gobbled the next two right after. And now I’m catching up on my reviews. Can’t wait for more, and I need to see if Grace has any other scifi romances for me. Yum!
Lily S. Thomas – Author of the Galactic Courtship series
For those who know the Interstellar Brides Program series know the many alien races that fight against the Hive. Such soldiers give years of their lives to fight this enemy.
A few years ago, Earth finally got confirmation that aliens exist. Unfortunately this happened when the Hive was targeting the Earthlings.
One of the alien races has the characteristic of the soldier becoming a Beast when he takes too long to find his mate. This is a big fear among everyone, because once the Beast takes over the soldier mentally, his strength is too great to be tamed, and often the loyal soldier turned Beast needs to be shot down by his friends.
Warlord Wulf was lucky to have found a mate through the Interstellar Program. However, by the rules, the chosen one has 30 days to decide if she really wants to mate that soldier, in which case, Wulf’s mate rejected him, returning to Earth to her former fiancé.
A TV show was then created where human females applied to be the chosen soldier’s mate, a kind of The Alien Bachelor. Wulf had little time to choose a new mate, and out of all 22 candidates, his Beast didn’t like any.
But he couldn’t give up. Other soldiers in his situation had hopes that this TV show would save them from death.
Two candidates stood out, but Wulf’s Beast chose… the TV show makeup artist.
Olivia Mercier wasn’t even a candidate. She was plus size, and not considered pretty by TV show organizers’ standards. But once the Beast chooses, there’s no going back. And Wulf would do anything to win Olivia over, and inject hope into his friends.
4,5 stars
You cannnot go wrong with Grace Goodwin – she is the best when it comes to sci-fi space porn – hot and very readable.
Love this author! She’s an auto buy for me.

I always enjoy Grace Goodwin’s books. I loved how Wulf can be both fierce, and fiercely protective. Another great read!
Meet the alpha of all alphas in this book! Wulf is an alien warlord who is looking for a bride, otherwise he dies from mating fever. However, he is the most understanding, compassionate, kind, and admirable lover to ever be written. The exception is those who threaten his family, then all bets are off! Go for it, read this really entertaining book!
The name of the book drew me in. The beast is sorta like a shifter, but alien style. I thought the characters were good. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it.
Really enjoyed this one. Think the culture clashes caused by an Atlan being on a Tv show added that little something to keep it fresh and fun. The romance was good as well, so definatly a five star.
It has been quite a while since I enjoyed reading such a wonderful well-written, Sci-Fi alien romance & it certainly kept my attention until the end. There are some character crossovers from previous books but this book can definitely be read as a standalone. The plot has splendid world building & is quite enthralling with the unexpected, suspenseful situations that are well-described. The characters (a human female weatherwoman/meteorologist, Quinn) & (a scarred Atlan Warlord, Bahre) are interesting individuals with strong-willed personalities. In particular, I was quite impressed at how the characters continued to develop throughout the storyline to become a well-adjusted loving couple.
There is: a news station (9 News), a T.V. show (Bachelor Beast), a domineering warlord determined to claim his mate (Bahre), a woman sworn off men (Quinn) but is quite surprised by the warlords determination, a deadly enemy (Cerberus), a coalition, friendship, comradery, mates, twists & turns, adventure, action, intrigue, suspense, drama, humour, danger, threats, enemies, abduction, conflict, violence, death, devious intentions, determination, manipulations, compromises, steamy scenes, contentment, love & a well-deserved happy conclusion.
