KU. I started reading “Baby Mistake” and it became apparent that there was a previous book, so I stopped that and went back to “Business & Pleasure”. Don’t. B&P is awful on so many levels and you don’t need it to fully enjoy Baby Mistake.
3.5 rounded to 4 stars. This is really a novella and suffers slightly from lack of length that would have helped the plot development. However, overall it was a really cute story. This is a May/December Boss/Intern romance. El is a 24yo new college grad and Griffin is a 35yo hotel executive. These two really clicked and it was fun to watch their relationship progress.
At about 2.5 hours to read it was a quick, sweet, & steamy love story.
This was another fantastic office romance (yet not the standard office romance) story from Alexis Winter. Baby Mistake was a captivating story that will keep reader’s attention from beginning to end. Griffin and El’s story was a passionate one filled with love and witty humor. I absolutely loved this new book. This is a fabulous must read that readers won’t want to put down.

ONE TANTALIZING EXPERIENCE!!!
OMG! Talk about one steamy agreement. A whirlwind of activities and unfortunate circumstances keep you flipping page after page. A rollercoaster ride with a plethora of swirling emotions burst front and center. One sizzling storyline and intriguing plot bring this little gem blazing to life flawlessly. The characters are realistic with personalities and depth that draw you in. All the drama, action, uncertainty and a little suspense brings all the pieces together for one wild ride. The scenes were so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there with them. Remarkable job Alexis, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
3.5 stars for Baby Mistake by Alexis Winter .
Griffin is a workaholic and Janelle/El is the new intern . Griffin has felt nothing for a women in years, so is shocks him when he gets feelings for his new intern El . She is his best friends fiance’s sister. She is also at least 10 years younger than Griffin . El just wants to be recognized for the job she is doing , however she is attracted to Griffin but thinks he could never want to be with someone like her. Well what happens when they get closer and El gets pregnant? Will these two make it or will El run .
This book was an okay quick read. I would have liked to get a little more in depth with their relationship but it was still a could book. It is worth reading .
This storyline is so original. I loved it, El (Janelle) is so smart, I loved how she excelled in all she did. Griffin knows what he wants and goes after it. I loved all the passion and chemistry within this book. Loved how open and honest El is.

A job internship brings along with it a love and a change in life.
Love how this story transpires. Janelle’s sister pushes for her to get an internship at the company she works at. That’s a stepping stone for Janelle once she goes through grad school. It will most definitely look good on her resume to land a job that she has her heart set on. But things don’t always work out as one wants.
Griffin must choose the internship candidates and he already has Janelle’s application listed as on of them. When he sees her, there is an immediate attraction he feels towards her.
Things revolve around the two of them and Janelle keeps impressing him with her knowledge. The relationship is very interesting and the hot sex between the two of them once things get established. Then there is a fantasy that Janelle has and little by little Griffin can see his role in it.
Loved this story as it begins well, things in the story happen and especially the ending has been followed through. So well done.
A definite book to get and read.

Janelle gets an internship and she is so excited. Her boss Griffin is stern but the best looking man she has ever seen. There is an attraction between the two but her working for him, means he is off limits to her. And Griffin keeps telling himself that she is not for him since she is an intern and ten years younger than him. But neither can deny their attraction. So they get together but as the title states, she is pregnant. But she doesn’t want to let him know – she wants to leave. But just as she decides to tell him, his ex comes back into the picture. What will she do? Loved how sweet, sexy and funny this book is and it is a short story which could have been longer to give more of a backstory but I really enjoyed it.

What a great book Baby Mistake was!
I really enjoyed reading the book. The chemistry between Janelle and Griffin was hot! Their struggle with the ‘forbidden’ love felt so real, it kept me enthralled from the get go and I felt like I was there with them. A definite must read!

An amazing well written interesting and captivating story. It has drama, fear, intrigue, uncertainty, twist and turns, unexpected surprises, and some explosive hit chemistry. The chadacters are likeable and realistic and have an intense connection. An enjoyable fun, cute, smooth flowing story. I honestly and voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
Janelle “El” applies for an internship between college and graduate school. Working and learning at Castile Hotels will add creds and experience to her portfolio — and she aims to be the shining star among the 10 interns selected. Her ideas and instincts are a pleasant surprise to CEO Griffin Karlsson, and her curves surprisingly gobsmack him. Within days, they’re each fighting an electric attraction to the other. They decide to “try out” a secret relationship and go slowly, but things get hot and heavy very quickly. She knows sleeping with the boss is a bad idea; he knows sleeping with an intern 10 years younger than he is a recipe for disaster. They quickly fall in love … but you know the results from the title. Oh-oh! And before El can share the baby news, Griff’s sophisticated ex-flame suddenly reappears, perhaps to burn down what they have. Can they work it out, face the music (lullabies?) and build a life together? Will facing dirty diapers and other parenting responsibilities pour cold water on their new relationship? My advice is: read this book. It’s a good one!

This is such a sweet and quick read. El is a young woman about to graduate college and would love to have an internship with a hotel group for her resume. Griffin is the boss of the hotel group and is talked into hiring El by his best friend. There is an instant attraction on both sides when they see each other. The funniest and most embarrassing scene for El involves Griffiin’s office and spilled coffee. Griffin’smost heartbreaking moment is realizing he messed up and has a real chance of losing El. Their willingness to be open with communication is what helps them find their happy ending.

This story wasn’t what I expected from the blurb, it was a little more light hearted which was ok. An older man burnt by a former lover vows to never let love into his life again, until a younger fun loving girl interns for his hotel company. I enjoyed the story. It was good read.
