Well written short story with an interesting storyline. Josh and Sarah are wonderful characters that take you on a fun adventure. This story has a magical touch and the ending is amazing.
I loved this so much. It was slightly different than the others in this series in that it’s not exactly set in Snowdon, MA but you do visit it, if not briefly. It also intrigued me in that it doesn’t happen in the present day. You will have to read it to know what I mean. You won’t be sorry. Josh and Sarah got exactly what they needed, even if they needed little magic in order to get it. It was sweet and hot and perfect for them! Loved the epilogue.

Sarah Vickers is nursing a badly broken heart after being dumped just before Christmas by a narcissistic man-child. Josh Temsik has a failing business, and the holiday cheer is way more than he can stand this year. This was quite good. Enjoyed the little touches of humour, and the characters. Great start for Hunter King!
AMAZING debut story!!
Hunter King’s first story is sooo freaking (avoiding swearing here to keep the Zon review police happy, because yes, that’s how good I thought this was) amazing!!
Sarah and Josh are both single in a sea of couples, at a resort a week before Christmas, each trying to forget a break up and work stress for awhile. This is the story of how they met and the romantic, steamy weekend that leads to their HEA. When I read the last sentence the smile on my face was from ear to ear. I can’t wait for more from Hunter.
Absolutely fantastic! The setting, description, romance, passion, witty banter, humour, amazing characters, steamy scenes, and holiday magic make this book A MUST READ!

This is an excellent debut novella from Hunter King. I liked the writing style and the twist on the date of the contemporary romance. I appreciated that the author stayed 100% true to to the setting and that the resort where Sarah and Josh are staying feels very true to the 70’s.
Sarah is an interesting character trying to find her own enlightenment after her break up. Josh is at a turning point in his business. Together, they help each other move forward when circumstances force more time in close quarters with each other.
This was a well-written, sweet novella with some sexy times and a beautiful happily ever after. I really enjoyed it and look forward to more by this author.
Sarah was dumped just before Christmas and decides to get away. Josh’s business isn’t doing well so he heads to a resort to get away from all the Christmas cheer. Sarah is at the same resort and the two meet during a blizzard and a power outage and sparks fly. This is a fun, entertaining short story about two people who meet at the right place and the right time. Great writing, humor, and a sweet insta love story make this a must read.
I found this book to be a very enjoyable and entertaining read with the well written storyline and characters that were so well created that I read this book in one sitting!
Up to Snow was a wonderfully written Christmas short story. It had great characters and a easy to believe storyline. It was a sexy read with characters that had great chemistry. I would recommend this story along with the others in the “A Sleeping with the Scrooge” series. Happy reading!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about a woman(Sarah) that is going to Awtenbush Springs Resort around Christmas because she just wants to alone. Sarah gets there and the first night it all goes wrong. Josh goes to the resort to get away from his life but when he gets there it is not what he thought it was going to be but he just goes with it. Josh checks in and then when he goes to the cabin there is a fake fire place. Now would be the time to get the book to find out what happens. U will be getting more from this author. Thank You for writing the books so we can read them.
They both need a distraction………….maybe they will be more than that if they keep an open mind
Baby, It’s Cold Inside is the debut book by Hunter King and is part of the Flirt Club’s A Sleeping with the Scrooge series.
Sarah Vickers has a broken heart after finding out just before Christmas that her boyfriend of six months was sleeping with a large breasted woman he met through work. So she decides to get away from Boston by herself for a few days and goes to a resort that is outside of Snowdon, MA. On her way she stops in Snowdon at the North Pole Coffee Shop where the man at the counter, who seems to resemble Santa a whole lot, gives her a Christmas special coffee and tells her it is guaranteed to make her feel better in twenty-four hours or her money back, which she did not pay for.
Josh Temsik is at the same resort outside of Snowdon to take a break from running his business for a few days. It seems that now matter how hard he works the last few years he is just getting more stressed. On his way to the resort he also stopped at the same coffee shop in Snowdon and was given the same Christmas special coffee. Josh was told to keep an open mind, there’s magic in the world.
Sarah and Josh meet at the resort and get to check each other out at the “nude only” hot spring pool where they each like what they see. When the power goes out during the night they end up finding an “interesting” way to keep warm which leads to even more fun over the next couple of days when they are both at the resort. At the end of their stay they do exchange names and numbers but neither expects to see the other again. But when you meet your soul mate never seeing them again is an option.
This is a really deliciously sexy short story with a good story-line and a couple wonderful characters in Sarah and Josh. The story made me laugh and not want to put it down until I was finished. I think the author did a really nice job and the writing style is solid. My only issue is the number of proofreading errors that I easily found while reading. They were a distraction as they were quite simple and should have been caught by a final read through before publishing. This would have been a 5 Star review except for this.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
