After one night together as teenagers, Neve’s first time, Connor disappeared from Neve’s life with no explanation. He didn’t even realize that he had left her pregnant with their child. Now 7 years later, Connor is back in town and finds out exactly what he had put Neve through and what he had left behind.
The story then focuses on how the two of them handle this upheaval, quite a departure from what I was expecting. Not only were the main characters very likable, but their daughter Ivy really made the story so much better. Neve did a wonderful job raising her without Connor. The emotions were accurate and believable, handled very well by the author. The story line moved at a good pace and kept the reader’s attention. Can they forgive and give each other a second chance at happiness and a chance to be a family? Or has it been too long to restore love and trust after such a devastating experience?
Connor left town without a word the day after he and Neve made love for the first time when they were teenagers 7 years ago. Neve never heard from him again but 4 years later she sees him on TV with his own popular Tatoo show. She never told him about Ivy, their daughter. Now he’s back in town. Why? Why won’t he tell her why he left? She’s angry and hurt. What does this gorgeous version of Connor want?? Love the story and the characters.

A rollercoaster of emotions and events that really pulls at those heartstrings. Yes, I’m not ashamed to say it, I cried. Might want to have some tissue close. The drama, mystery, heartache, sadness, fear, heartbreak and suspense increases steadily as the tension spirals while the plot thickens. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. Chloe did an incredible job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Chloe, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Emotive, erotic, and an exceptionally written second-chance romance. A magnificent MUST-READ!
“BABY IT’S CHRISTMAS” is an extremely emotional second-chance, SEASONAL romance. Author Fischer’s skill with weaving word to pull emotional responses from her readers is phenomenal and used to perfection in “BABY IT’S CHRISTMAS.” The blurb gives a wonderful teaser about the general premise of the story, but what I can not address is the depth of understanding readers are given as Fischer’s use of dual narration takes them back to their years of first love as Seniors in high school through to their meeting in the present. It was so easy to relate to the selfless nurturer Neve and the emotions she felt towards Connor when he returns after 7 years to find out that he has a daughter. It was also easy to relate to Connor and the deep boiling regret, grief even, that his leaving Neve continued to bring. Then there is also Ivy, and if ever there was the perfect catalyst for change, then surely, she was the love that began the healing of two very damaged hearts. There is so much more that went on, but I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises or unexpected twists that are a part of this amazing story. “BABY IT’S CHRISTMAS” is so incredible I had to finish it before I could return to real life. I could not put “BABY IT’S CHRISTMAS” down until I knew everything, so deep was my connection to Neve and Connor. I voluntarily read “BABY IT’S CHRISTMAS” and this is my honest, voluntary review. If I could give it more STARS I would. Now I can hardly wait to see what Chloe Fischer will write next! Happy pages!
Connor and Ivy were high school sweet hearts.Connor came from a dysfunctional family with a drug addicted mother and an alcoholic father who was also abusive. On the night that he proposed to Ivy, something terrible happened to his family changing the course of his life. In the aftermath he left town without a word leaving Ivy to pick up the pieces. It has been seven years since he left and he is back in town. When he and Ivy reconnect all of their feelings come back full circle but when he left he gave Ivy a piece of himself that is now smiling up at him. Is it too late to make amends for the past?

A sweet and romantic tale of second chances
I really enjoyed this book even though I felt that Neve and Connor’s story wasn’t as meaty as I would have liked. It was primarily about what happened in the past and not what’s happening in the present – ok theres Connor and Ivy’s connecting and Connor and Cyrus – but Connor and Neve’s in the moment time was a bit slim I felt. But other than that it was such a sweet and enjoyable story that it’s still worth a read
