Always be my baby
Marigold Rallis is not the type to fall to pieces. The youngest Bloom sister makes managing marriage, career, and a busy life in Good Hope look easy. But looks can be deceiving. Years of struggling with infertility while her sisters fill their nurseries have started to take a toll.
It’s not just Marigold who is feeling the stress. Her husband, Cade, Good Hope’s Sheriff, is … Hope’s Sheriff, is acting strange. There are unexplained trips to Milwaukee, as well as mysterious texts and calls with his former fiancée.
Marigold’s heart tells her Cade would never cheat, but something is going on between him and his ex. She just needs to find out what…One thing is certain: She and Cade were born to be together. Whatever new challenge is coming their way, Marigold won’t give up on Cade and their dream of building a life—and a family—together.
Baby Dreams in Good Hope is a standalone story. For new readers, it will be an introduction to the wonderful world of Good Hope. For fans, it’s a bonus novella (a shorter book) in this heartwarming series. I absolutely love this story and know you will too!

Marigold finally gets her baby! Adoption is the best luck one can have! This is about Marigold and Cade. This was a great continuation of their love story and the fact that Marigold was fighting with infertility and having all of her sisters with more than one child, has really caused her stressed. Not only is she stress about not getting pregnant but she believes Cade is cheating on her with his ex-fiancée.
Cade has been spending a lot of time with his ex, but will she end up driving him to her or is it for some other reason that brings them joy? I loved this story knowing how stress for not having a baby is overwhelming and can make a woman believe that something is wrong in their relationship without knowing that there isn’t.
Loved this look at the toll the inability to conceive can take on a couple. It’s hard to remember this when you are so excited about expecting. I loved the way Cade stood behind her in everything & was worried about exposing her to hurt in case his plans fell through. The updates on the other family members & friends was nice too.
A novella about Cade and Marigold, and their journey to becoming parents. Their story is in the 3rd book of the series Be Mine in Good Hope. Marigold cannot have babies, which is what she wants more than anything especially since all of her sisters have babies. Cade is talking with his former fiancee, and Marigold is worried he might be leaving her since she can’t give him babies. They are talking about adoption. Marigold went through fertility treatments, and has some side affects, she takes a test her sister Prim convinces her to take, and its positive! She finally gets to say the words “I’m pregnant!” The ex of Cade’s is helping him go through adoption, He is meeting with a pregnant Mom to see if she picks them. He wants to give Marigold a surprise, before he even knows she’s pregnant. He and Marigold meet with her, and she goes into labor ! She has a beautiful, healthy baby boy, and chooses Marigold and Cade as his parents, they name him Caleb.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!! I am so excited for Marigold and Cade to finally get their chance.
Marigold is getting very depressed and know wonders what her husband is up to. He is having secret meeting with is Ex. Enough to drive a woman mad.
Cade would do anything for the woman of his dreams including involving is Ex.
Great read, I love Good Hope and can’t wait to visit some day. Love Marigold and Cade. So glad life is coming around for them and their dreams.
My first introduction to Cindy Kirk’s Good Hope series was Be Mine in Good Hope (book 3), and Marigold and Cade have always been special to me. Throughout the subsequent books, readers were given little peeks at their marriage and lives…personal successes and heartbreaking hurdles. When I learned that Cindy was devoting another book to this wonderful couple, I did a little happy dance. Baby Dreams in Good Hope is a sweet story that could stand on its own, but for those of us who feel part of the Good Hope community and have continued to root for this wonderful couple, it fills in a missing piece. Read it…you won’t be disappointed. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and I willingly offering this review.
BABY DREAMS IN GOOD HOPE
The happy ending I’ve been waiting for since I started reading this series! With such a large family, Marigold has sat back and watched all of her siblings start a family all while trying to start one of her own without success. At first Marigold is concerned her husband, who she loves with all her heart, may be cheating on her. Not only is that not the case but Marigold’s dream to be a mom and start a family is finally coming true with not just one baby, but two! I highly recommend this sweet story of love and the importance of not giving up. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
Cade and Marigold are ready to start a family. They have hopes and dreams to become parents, after numerous dr appointments, where do you go?
Marigold has a sinking feeling when she catches Cade hiding something. Has Cade’s feelings changed while they have chased trying to expand their family? When their dreams become reality will their family stay together?
I definitely was so excited for Cade and Marigold to finally get their baby dreams.
Baby Dreams in Good Hope is the thirteenth in the series but can be read as a stand alone, however I suggest that you read the series to see the struggles that have lead up to this story. Marigold and Cade found their happily ever after with love but have struggled with infertility in starting their family. They have finally ceased trying to have a biological child and are now considering adoption. The story that follows is a wonderfully written, emotionally filled journey that will have you engaged until the very last page.
I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.
This was a very quick read by Cindy Kirk, which shared a different kind of love story. While I wasn’t sure what to expect until the very end, this read kept me turning the page, and staying up way later than usual in order to read as much as I could.
I received an ARC from the publisher, but this review is my own opinion.
It was good to visit Good Hope again and catch up on everyone’s doings. I really felt for Marigold and Cade as they struggled with their dreams for a family. It was good to see them remain committed to each other, and when Cade made a big mistake was quick to admit it. It’s a sweet short story with exciting news at the end, although Gladys’ pronouncement makes me wonder if there will be yet more to their story.

Readers of the Good Hope series are familiar with the pain of Marigold and Cade’s infertility issues, compounded by the ease her sisters and friends have in getting pregnant. This novella finally brings a baby bounty to the couple. I can’t say more without giving away the plot points, but this book will bring a smile to your face and brighten your spirits.
Even if you are unfamiliar with the Good Hope series, you can’t go wrong starting with this book.

Baby Dreams in Good Hope is a charming, poignant story that tugs at your heart strings. Author Cindy Kirk has chronicled Cade and Marigold Bloom Rallis’ infertility struggle in several of the Good Hope novels. As Marigold’s sisters and friends were having babies, she and her husband took out a bank loan to finance IVF treatments , sold their piece of waterfront property and were about to move into a Victorian home in the heart of Good Hope.
I emphasized with Marigold’s desire and her struggles to have a child. Cindy Kirk’s descriptive writing style is spot on in this novel. I could see the surprise and hurt on Marigold’s face when she learns her sister is expecting a second child at a family dinner. And feel her pain. I could understand why an emotional, overwrought Marigold thought Cade was cheating on her. A phone call from an ex-girlfriend caused her to jump on an emotional rollercoaster.
The novel features several of my favorite people; Marigold’s sisters, her friend Bea (Bachelor Games in Good Hope) and Gladys, the town’s fortune teller & matchmaker. I loved catching up with these characters and how they provided emotional support, understanding and unconditional love to Marigold and Cade. Loved Gladys and her predictions—and am hoping they come true!
Baby Dreams in Good Hope reads like a novel. The characters are relatable, the fast-paced storyline has several unexpected plot twists and is perfectly written. And, there’s a hint from Gladys that there might be more surprises for Marigold and Cade.
I adore Cindy Kirk’s Good Hope series. If you are looking for a feel-good read that’s all about friendship, love and hope this is the book for you!
I don’t normally read novellas because I typically want something with more depth than can be found in a novella; however, this one was different. I thoroughly enjoyed this “between” episode with my friends in Good Hope! It was short and sweet, and the love that is so profound in Good Hope was almost palpable. I can’t wait to see what happens in the future!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. OMG. This is the book that you have been waiting on since Marigold and Cade got together. I have felt her pain with every birth announcement and every pregnancy. This a sweet, short novella that will make you remember all of the things you love about Good Hope and the family that started it all, the magnificent Blooms. Even though it is short, Ms. Kirk does not skimp on the storyline. You will feel like you read a full story and will be begging for more.
This story goes in depth with Marigold and Cade and their quest to finally add a baby to their family. As like with the other Good hope books, it was not just about the issue or couple at hand but how the town helps them handle the situation. I love it. This is definitely the one to read. You’ll fall in love with this town all over again.
I love Good Hope. As I’ve said before, I wish Good Hope actually existed because I’d love to live there. Baby Dreams in Good Hope is a great read. I loved getting to reconnect with some of my favorite characters. I know you will as well.
Marigold and Cade are couples goals. I love the way he looks at her and the love they share.
Fans of Good Hope will love Baby Dreams in Good Hope. It’s heartwarming and just lovely. You need this book! Read it! You’ll be glad you did!
I received this ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review.
I like Cade, Marigold, and revisiting Good Hope. There was also a brief update regarding a couple of the characters and the changes in their lives.
This quick read focused on Cade and Marigold getting their wish fulfilled after so much time. Was Marigold blowing things out of proportion or was Cade really keeping secrets from her? There were a couple of twists to this small town update.
Gladys made a comment to Marigold that gave me the sense that this was not the end of Cade and Marigold’s story. In fact, I believe she made the comment twice.
A happy fast paced, small town romance that was sweet and lighthearted. I read it in one sitting and was surprised at how quickly I reached the end.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is one of my favorites of all the Good Hope series. I don’t give 5 stars lightly, it has to be earned. Marigold and Cade are center stage in their quest for a baby. It is the book that was needed to make us all happy. Some steam, good love story.

This short, but sweet story finally brought happiness to Marigold and Cade. Of course, in typical Cindy Kirk style, there was a small glitch in the story. What was Cade doing in Milwaukee? Was he ruining one of Marigold’s happiest days ever? Or was he finding double the joy? While this edition in the Good Hope series seemed like it was in fast forward mode with how quickly it went by, it was lovely to get back to Good Hope and the family, and it left me longing for more of their happy endings.
I was given an advanced reader copy and the opinions stated are entirely my own.
I always love returning to Good Hope! This short story was a sweet addition to the series. As we catch up with Marigold and Cade we’re able to witness the payoff to their long awaited journey. I’m so glad all their wishes finally came true!
I received a ARC of this book from the Publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
For those who follow the Good Hope series and have been awaiting news about Marigold and Cade’s ongoing quest to have a baby, you will love this short, sweet novella, full of passion, drama, disappointment, and hope. A fun, anxiety-filled and at the same time, full-of-love, quick read. And certainly, a teaser (in the most delightful way) to wanting to see how Marigold and Cade handle their latest adventure, along with the rest of their family, in future Good Hope books.
I was given an Advanced Reader Copy of this book by the publisher for a fair and honest review.
