My life changed when I posted an ad on Crescent Cove’s Facebook Wanted page.I wasn’t looking for a used car, but what I was looking for counted as a need too, right?BABY DADDY WANTEDSingle, personable woman seeking a man for the purposes of procreation. I wouldn’t mind if he looked like Chris Pratt, but that’s not required. No further interaction with the child is required, unless desired by … No further interaction with the child is required, unless desired by father-to-be. Child will be created the old-fashioned way, assuming both parties agree. Contact V at goodtothelastdrop.
I wasn’t expecting much, to tell the truth.
For a week, I got no bites.
No licks—or clicks.
Nothing.
Then I got a reply.
We started to email. Text. Maybe almost…sext.
He was sweet. Funny. Suddenly, the idea of doing the naked make-a-baby rumba with him seemed like more fun than function.
Then I found out who he was.
He found out who I was.
And tomorrow, I’m going to see him at work.
Author’s note: The hero doesn’t start out as a single father, but he’s on board with adding his cream to her coffee. Baby Daddy Wanted is a standalone romantic comedy with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

Review based on the audio version
I love this series. I spend half my time laughing as I listen. Kai Kennicot and Wen Ross do a wonderful job with the voices and bringing the authors story to life. As with the other books in this series, the characters are bright and likable and their stories are told with humor and wit. All in all, Baby Daddy Wanted is on my must read list. Enjoy!
Another great read in Taryn Quinn’s Dirty DILFs series. Highly recommend!
Baby Daddy Wanted was actually my first dive into the Crescent Cove series. However, from what I’ve gathered after just reading this one, the entire series is based on couples who live in Crescent Cove and want babies anyway they can get them…It’s like it’s own baby fever city!
For Veronica (aka Vee), she’s gotten bit by the baby bug and was sure even though here methods were a bit unconventional, she would have no issues finding a man who would donate some baby batter to help her with her goal. However, everything changes when she posts a “help wanted” ad (if you can call it that) to the local Facebook page rather than a group. Now she’s got all the creeps and busybodies bugging her at all hours of the day. But once message stands out from all the others and just maybe Fortress could be the man to help her achieve her end goal.
Murphy is your average construction worker who just so happens to have a secret side that nobody knows about. When he’s not out helping his friend fix tree-houses or working to help improve the houses around the small town, he’s locked away in his remote cabin developing popular zombie games. But he also has another not-so secret crush on the local baker who’s recently advertised she’s looking for a baby daddy. Can Murphy finally get up the courage to confess to Vee how he feels? Will Murphy be content just donating and spending a little time with a baby he’s made when he’s so in love with Vee?
I did really enjoy this story. It’s not really a trope I’ve read before (not saying I haven’t, because I’m sure I have with all the reading I do, but it’s not one I remember being a popular one in my reading). Murphy is the kind of guy that I absolutely love! He’s a little nerd, a lot shy, but man is he one dedicated dude when it comes to having someone he wants.
Audiobook Review:
Another sweet and satisfying addition to the Crescent Cove series. Veronica aka Vee and Murphy (I didn’t really care for his nickname so won’t use it here) were really likable characters. They were both kind and had their vulnerabilities. I found myself especially liking Murphy. He was so sweet and I liked the fact that they already had feelings for each other from the very beginning. The progression of their relationship throughout the book was entertaining and the steam level was great. The ending especially made me smile with the surprise.
The narrators were two of my favorites. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross do duet narration so well and I just love their voices. Their general tones for the main characters as well as the secondary voices.
I look forward to more in this series. There are so many more great characters in this town I can’t wait to see get their HEA.
Baby Daddy Wanted
Crescent Cove, Book 5
By: Taryn Quinn
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
First off, I love this series. It’s a go to when I have a little time to sit back and enjoy a wonderful listen. Taryn Quinn push all the right buttons for me, and this book is no exception. Veronica finds out what happens when you use technology! Posting on the wrong board seeking someone to father her baby is not something she wanted to public, but now on the town page, she is swamped with responses. One in particular catches her eye, and the two seem to hit it off. Murphy, a regular in V’s diner has had a crush on her for a long time. This request has given this shy hunk the guts to write to her. Will Veronica figure out the two are one and the same? And is he the one for her mission? Fall in love with this town! It’s full of wonderful small town people, gossip and babies!!! Plus we meet Latte the pup! What a sweetie!
Narrated by the fabulous Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott, I find myself immersed in the story. These two bring Crescent Cove to life, and every time I hear them, it makes me feel happy. They understand their characters, and fit them with perfect personalities. It’s a pleasure to hear them every time!

Baby Daddy Wanted (Crescent Cove #5) was a good read by Taryn Quinn. See accidentally puts an ad to find a baby daddy on her Facebook, she meant to put it in a private group. She then gets an email from a stranger but feels a connection. She never thought it would be Murphy Mason. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
What a fabulous couple. I really liked this story. It was told in a way that you grew with them as their relationship grew. Great ending.
This one was a keeper
For sure. Her wants to be a mom, she has never had that real connection because it was just her and her mom. Murphy is the youngest son and very quite guy, he likes Her but he is shy. But somehow her post seems to draw them together.
Such a fun way to start a relationship. The biggest oops ever, and yet you are still lucky enough to find the perfect person for you. I enjoyed everything about this book and the narration was fantastic.
When Veronica sees her girlfriends with babies, she wants one, too. Only there’s no one in her life to be a baby daddy. There is one man who drops by the Cafe and makes her body sing, but neither one has made the first move. Victoria decides she needs to post an ad for a baby daddy online, only it ends up not being private. Soon the one man she wants is the one she gets, if only he wants her more before being a daddy. Humor, steamy sex and the perfect baby daddy.
I think Murphy may be the perfect man. Strong, humble, shy, smart, and sensitive. He has fallen for Veronica but cannot get the words out to pursue her until the threat of losing her to someone else pushes him forward. Veronica has also crushed on Murphy but does not believe he is interested. I appreciated the “You’ve Got Mail”-like correspondence where they get to know each other before they know each other. I love their steam. I really loved how they support each other as their relationship develops. The story tackles friendship, jealousy, and the small town gossip mill.
Vee, or Veronica works as a Pastry Chef in the local bakery. She has gotten baby fever~ She puts an advertisement out on Facebook for a male to impregnate her. The town’s men are very responsive! There is only one who has had her eye for a long time – Murphy. Murphy is shy and built like a tank. He owns a gaming company, works in construction and is madly in love with Vee. He is too shy to ask her out or even hint that he is interested. He responds to her ad and that captures her attention. What will happen once she discovers it is him? Things will definitely go crazily wild and wacky! Many surprises wait for these two lovers~ This is a great romance with quite few LOL places. I received this as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A misplaced post on the wrong website creates the town of Crescent Cove to go crazy. Long time people are asking what was Vee thinking. The male population is lining up to have a chance at becoming the man to make a baby with Vee. Murphy is upset with this. Every time he goes near her at her place of work, he can hardly speak. His tongue gets tied. In a last ditch effort, he sends her a message. I love that the two of them start direct messaging each other every night. Now he is trying to figure out how to let her know it is him without losing her. Vee is very smart and she does figure it out. These two are so perfect for each other. Love the puppy Latte that they adopt!
A fun addition to the Crescent Cove series. I loved getting to know these two amazing characters. The book is full of laughter, romance, steam, and love. This group of family and friends is wonderful to watch and are so supportive of one another.
I really enjoyed this one, but did find it a little confusing in places about who was with who, so I’d definitely recommend reading this series in order. This is the first book I’ve read by the author and I’d definitely read her other books. I also enjoyed the bonus epilogue you can download at the end
This is the fifth book in this series. Just about every book I want to say…I think this is one is my favorite! There are so many things to enjoy about this one. First V decides she wants a baby but a man isn’t necessarily needed. So she puts out an ad…in a small town. Hello! Cause for speculation? Yes please! Then the man that is interested is too shy and doesn’t think she ever notices him. So he contacts her anonymously via email. Both of these two characters are so right for each other…I can’t wait for them to finally get together! After some mishaps and jealousies they finally get together over Latte!
The ending is so cute! I LOVE how nervous and excited they are!! Really I think is this my favorite one. Each character is so quiet and shy they almost miss their window of opportunity. But when they get together it’s all stars and rainbows. Again…that ending!!
I listened to this on audio and Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross narrated. Their back and forth along with their giggles, laughs and sighs make this one to delisted to again and again.
This is the fifth book in the Dirty DILFs Series. I love this Series!! This is a sweet story with a great HEA. Another great addition to the Series. This story can be listened as a standalone, but you don’t want to miss one book in this Series. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did an amazing duet narration. I love their voices together. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook.
Great book, was fun to read. Humor, steam and lots of feelings. Great characters and feel good story.
Baby Daddy Wanted is a lighthearted, fun, LOL addition to Taryn Quinn’s Dirty DILFs series. Murphy Masterson is a big hunk of shy awkwardness who has absolutely no idea of his sex appeal, especially to Veronica Dixon. The two have secretly crushed on each other for a while, but only hookup after the sassy baker places an ad for a baby daddy to start the family she’s dreamed of for years. Fun and sexy times ensue.
Like the town’s inhabitants, this series is quickly multiplying. Each installment introduces readers to a new couple who find love together. Just as enjoyable is the glimpse readers get into the current lives of the couples who found their HEAs in the previous books.
The fictional town of Crescent Cove is coming to life with the rapidly expanding extended family Taryn Quinn is creating. Once again, the characters are burrowing into my heart, making this another must-read series.
This one’s a “sweet” one!
Take one spitfire baker, add a shy mountain of a computer programmer, mix them together and you might just get a baby. Well, maybe?
Veronica longs for a family of her own and is tired of waiting. She starts a commotion by advertising for a baby daddy. While she narrows down her online options, her crush finally makes a move to let her know he is actually paying attention. What follows is a cute and romantic story about Veronica and Murphy as they adorably fumble their way into love.
I loved this couple (and not just because I’m a baker too)! They were both sweet and hot. While Murphy could be a tongue tied, mild mannered moose of a man at times, he could also be an alpha when it was called for. These two had great chemistry and it was enjoyable spending time with them!
I guess the big question that remains is, did Murphy actually become the next Crescent Cove DILF? That’s going to be a fun question to answer!
