My life changed when I posted an ad on Crescent Cove’s Facebook Wanted page.I wasn’t looking for a used car, but what I was looking for counted as a need too, right?BABY DADDY WANTEDSingle, personable woman seeking a man for the purposes of procreation. I wouldn’t mind if he looked like Chris Pratt, but that’s not required. I wasn’t expecting much, to tell the truth.
For a week, I got no bites.
No licks—or clicks.
Nothing.
Then I got a reply.
We started to email. Text. Maybe almost…sext.
He was sweet. Funny. Suddenly, the idea of doing the naked make-a-baby rumba with him seemed like more fun than function.
Then I found out who he was.
He found out who I was.
And tomorrow, I’m going to see him at work.
Author’s note: The hero doesn’t start out as a single father, but he’s on board with adding his cream to her coffee. Baby Daddy Wanted is a standalone romantic comedy with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

Baby Daddy Wanted is my new favorite story out of Crescent Cove!! Veronica is the quirky pastry chef with rainbow tipped hair and she wants a baby. She done waiting for Mr. Right. So what’s a girl to do? Place an ad of course! Of course that doesn’t go as planned but it does get shy Murphy out of his shell and talking to Veronica. I absolutely loved the banter between these characters, Taryn Quinn was right on the money with these two!
This book is about Vee (Veronica), the cute baker at Brewed Awakenings. She’s decided that she wants to have a baby but doesn’t want to wait to find true love so she posts an ad. Unfortunately, she posts it in the quiet town’s FB page for all to see. Before she knows it, everyone’s talking about her post.
But then there’s Moose (Murphy Masterson). He’s always been enamored with Veronica but for some reason, he gets all tongue tied around her. To make it worse, Vee, likes him but she seems to say the wrong things around him and even though they see each other almost every day, nothing happens.
But then Moose decides to send a note to Vee under his company’s name (a company that no one seems to know about) – Cabin Fortress. They hit it off!
But now Vee is torn between wanting to get to know Cabin Fortress more and wanting Moose.
The first half of the book is about these two dancing around each other while the second half is them really getting to know each other and deciding to take this to the next level.
Another really sweet story from Crescent Cove!
BABY DADDY WANTED is the fifth instalment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult DIRTY DILFs erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of Crescent Cove. This is baker and cafe owner Veronica Dixon, and handyman/game developer Murphy Masterson. BABY DADDY WANTED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Murphy and Veronica) BABY DADDY WANTED follows in the wake of Veronica Dixon’s misdirected Facebook post in which she solicits applications for a baby daddy. Believing there are no soul mate matches in Crescent Cove, and the only man to which she is attracted barely gives her the time of day, Veronica places an ad that quickly spirals out of control. Enter Veronica’s crush, Murphy Masterson, a man who struggles in the face of attraction to the woman that calls to his heart. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Veronica and Murphy as they dance around the idea of making a baby.
BABY DADDY WANTED is a story of friendship and family, with a large and colorful cast of secondary and supporting characters.Everyone is Crescent Cove is aware of Veronica’s plans to have a baby, and all the eligible males are willing to volunteer their services for Veronica’s future. The premise is fun, fast paced and engaging; the romance is flirty and hot; the characters are energetic, sweet and animated. BABY DADDY WANTED is a wonderful and spirited story where another couple falls ‘victim’ to Crescent Cove’s baby machine 😉
This was another great read and addition to this series. I enjoyed Vee and Murphy’s story as I cheered for the pair to end up together. This was a fun read as the pair found their HEA together and once I started reading this book, I had a hard time putting it down. I really liked Murphy once he moved past his shyness and came into his own making him a favorite book boyfriend. I liked the return of the characters from the previous books and I look forward to seeing where this series will go next with some of the supporting characters that make appearances throughout this series. I would recommend this book to others.
I have laughed so hard, I’ve cried. The one liners in this book. The nicknames. What the town and HOW the town talks about her, it’s genius. Picture the smallest town you know about. Then picture that same town with the town baker advertising for a baby maker. I’m laughing just thinking about it.
This was such an incredibly sweet book with kind and loveable characters. It doesn’t rely on anger induced misunderstandings to make it work. Just two people who have been clumsily dancing around each other because they like each other so much they can barely speak in coherent sentences when the other is around.
Vee is done waiting for Mr. Right and tired of dropping flirty hints at Murphy that he doesn’t respond to. She wants a baby and she has figured out a way to get one. She has advertised for a baby daddy, and she wants to do it the old fashioned way. Unfortunately her attemp resulted in her ad being posted to every media site in town and now she is dealing with looks and comments from everyone in town, and they all seem to have an opinion or comment. When she finally gets a response from someone there is something intriguing about the man. It isn’t long before the pieces start to fall into place and Vee figures out who ‘Cabin Fortress’ is.
Murphy ‘Moose’ Masterson has it bad for the baker at Brewed Awakening but every time he sees her he gets tongue-tied and can’t talk. When he sees the ad she posted he is stunned and quickly determined that no one is going to father her child unless it is him. A fun and entertaining relationship ensues until the two finally get together.
Murphy is such a sweet, kind-hearted teddy bear and he would do anything for Veronica. Once he gets past his shyness around her the two develop a wonderful, loving relationship that any couple would cherish. With all the baby making practice going on will the two be able to see their dream fulfilled?
I loved this sweet, entertaining book. A must read in this series!
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
I laughed I cried laughed again and fell in love with these two. Vee put a post accidental online seeking a man to make a baby with. Little did she know she would get so much more. This book was amazing from beginning to end. A great well written enjoyable story line. So far this is my favorite from Taryn. Highly recommend.
When Murphy (Moose) sees Veronica’s (Vee) announcement that she’s looking for a baby daddy, he’s so flustered he injures himself on the jobsite he’s working. He’s crushed on the spirited baker for as long as she’s been in town and knowing she wants a baby, and to make one the old fashioned way, has his mind wandering in indecent ways. But how can he possibly approach her about it when every time he gets near her, his mouth goes silent and his brain gets scrambled?
Veronica is not thrilled with the fact that she accidentally posted her announcement on the wrong site. And she’s especially not thrilled at the reaction most of her small town is having to her announcement. But she is thrilled when Murphy makes his usual stop at the cafe. She might have noticed his deliciously big body, and she might be thinking positively delicious things about that big body. But then Cabin Fortress starts messaging her about her announcement, and they forge a connection, even while she’s crushing on her silent but yummy big Murphy. What will she do when she discovers the real identity of Fortress?
I LOVED Baby Daddy Wanted!! Mostly because of Murphy. He’s so unlike most bbfs these days. He’s absolutely adorable and sweet and sexy in his understated, shy way. He’s not at all cocky or arrogant and definitely not a manwhore. I think he’s the real star here, and made the story for me. He and Vee make a sweet couple, and their chemistry is electric! I’ve been loving this Dirty DILFs series with all the men and the women who love them, but this one just might be my favorite, all because of Murphy, he of the big, delicious body and huge, sweet heart. Can’t wait for more Dirty DILFs!
Thank you, Taryn Quinn for introducing me to my new book boyfriend, Murphy “Moose” Masterson! Oh-em-gee….this man is EVERYTHING! Seriously, I want a Murphy for my own!!!! Sweet, sexy, romantic and an abundance of sexiness all combine for the perfect man in this adorably sexy story story from one of my favorite author duos. It is part of the Dirty DILFs series set in Crescent Cove but it reads as a complete standalone so new readers can jump right on in.
Veronica (aka “Vee) is sweet and funny and just this side of kooky. Her accidental public posting for a baby daddy leads to all sorts of funny antics by the townspeople of Crescent Cove. Murphy….shy and adorable Murphy has a hard time speaking to Veronica however he finds the perfect way to break the ice and these two are off and running. The chemistry between Vee and Murphy is fabulous. Their push and pull before they get together is both adorable and awkward at the same time. But once they are together, there’s nothing awkward about it! These two are smoking hot! And the duo behind Quinn, always adept at writing sexy times works their magic in the best ways. Seriously, Murphy is total book boyfriend material! I’m pretty sure he has soared to the top of my list for favorite Quinn men!!!
Baby Daddy Wanted contains all the perfect ingredients for a funny, sweet and sexy story. I rooted for Murphy and Vee from the very first page and in the end, this book left me with a smile on my face and a happy heart. I absolutely loved it! 5 stars
Every book that I have read by Taryn Quinn is phenomenal! I fall in love and am transported into the book. Page after page i am consumed. This is one of the best books I have ever read.
This book is a slow burn romance. Basically, falling for someone online after putting out a request for a sperm donor—without really knowing who he is. They both want each other in everyday life, but seem incapable of expressing it. Very sweet and it gets very hot.
I just adored everything about this book. The characters were so easy to fall for and their connection and chemistry was absolutely wonderful. Opposites attract was a phrase that fit them so well.
Murphy was unlike any other book boyfriend I have come across, but I think that’s what made him so much more endearing to me. He was shy, socially awkward and extremely introverted; which made it that much difficult to talk to the girl of his dreams…Veronica aka Vee. She was spirited and quirky, friendly to everyone and yet she couldn’t break through Murphy’s shell.
Their story was just so remarkably sweet and funny and adorable!!
This is book 5 in the Dirty DILFs series and it can absolutely be read as a stand alone although I recommend reading the previous books because you do see those characters in this book as well. Along with meeting the main character in this book. This one is about Murphy and Veronica (Vee). Vee works with Macy in her coffee shop as the baker. When she decides that she is done waiting for the “one” and wants to have kids now, she places an ad to try to find a baby daddy. Only she places the ad on the wrong page and now the whole town knows about what she wants. Murphy has wanted Vee since the first time he saw her. But he is so shy that he doesn’t think he will ever get the nerve up to even talk to her let alone ask her out. But when he see’s the ad-he offers to help her take it down and asks if she is alright through an email. Without giving his name. Which leads to the chance for them to get to know each other without all the shyness and town drama getting in the way. But once she finds out who he is, will she still want to spend time with him? Or let what they have become something more?
I absolutely loved this story! Vee definitely has issues because of how her mother is and always has been. But she tries not to let them stand in her way and drag her down. And I love that about her! She isn’t afraid to work towards the things she want’s or need’s, no matter what other’s may think about her choices. Murphy is a man after my heart! He is so shy and doesn’t understand his own appeal due to how he was treated throughout middle and high school. And having people still calling him Moose doesn’t help. But this man has a heart of gold and will go out of his way to help the people he cares about. Even when it pushes him out of his comfort zone. And they are absolutely perfect for each other! Vee makes it so that Murphy actually feel’s like he is someone people see and care about. Murphy is that calming influence for Vee but he also makes her feel like she matters. I loved them together! This series just keep’s getting better and better! Of course now I am impatiently waiting for the next because I need my Rory fix!!
