This book is a great wrap up for the series. Really intense way to bring the prophecy to an ending, yet also a beginning. Even more, this next journey is no normal mystery, which is what makes the story even better. And to finish this entire tale off, readers get to see Kinsley grow up and set the stage for Familiar Kitten Mysteries.
However, there are issues that bring my rating down. It takes too long to go into details, so I will be brief. My notes can be found under Wicked Witches of Coventry: The Complete Series.
1. Timeframe issues. Is it yesterday? Today? Tomorrow?
2. Remy doesn’t notice a baby vanish from his arms? What is she, like 6 to 10 pounds?
3. Magic never heard of before or later. Vanishing, flying, bringing characters off the screen. I like it, but it comes out of nowhere.
4. Suddenly in a car.
5. Brighton muses how the evil woman is “especially unfamiliar” and then later says she recognizes her in a way.
6. The house is protected from evil witches, yet somehow Baelora gets inside.
7. Amelda senses Brody has no powers, yet later Brighton muses over whether that is a trick or not.
8. While in the magic circle, Brighton and Kinsley are somehow next to Baelora and Brody. I know they move closer, but it doesn’t sound like that much closer. Also, Gunner walks to Brody.
9. Remy doubts he will be coven leader with Kinsley around, but when Kinsley is thirteen he comments that he needs to resign or die first.
10. The years that pass should be noticable. Like Brighton should be from 1990 or Kinsley is running away in the year 2038.
11. Some chapters could have scene breaks. Some chapters could be split entirely.
12. Typos, typos, and more typos.
Also,
Why is there a book 11 that takes place around Kinsley’s 1st birthday? For one, readers just went through 18 years of Kinsley’s life. Second, one of those years is when she is 1. Third, there is never mention of anything bad happening. Fourth, book 10 is clearly the end of this series.

This is a wonderful magical cozy mystery that is the tenth book in the Wicked Witches of Coventry series. The characters are quirky, personable and engaging. The mystery is full of surprises, great suspects, lots of clues, magic, danger and suspense. The storyline runs smoothly as the author weaves together the mystery with the romance and coping with a magical baby. It is fun, interesting and enjoyable. I look forward to more books about these characters.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It’s a girl Kinsley Marie skeenbauer daughter to brighten and Remy in this story you will read about the baby a murder and Brody her brother . Awesome story now the bad thing I didn’t like about this book was the way she just jump through their daughters life what’s your thoughts.
A great deal of celebration and suffering ensues after the Skernbauer Coven embraces Kinsley and Brighton.
Epic challenges face the coven and the little family that Brighton and Remy make with their daughter. Growing up with such promise and power is not easy on their baby girl, and her efforts at a so called normal life are fairly doomed from the start given mean girls at school and use of powers in front of humans being a big no no.
What future lies ahead might just be a little less magical
