Connor Prince is a beast. He’s a rich, controlling, handsome ex-movie star with one dream left in his cold, godforsaken heart. He wants a baby, and he wants me to be his surrogate.I thought he was just a weirdly good-looking, grumpy hobo until he took me to his freakin’ castle and made me an indecent proposal. The contract doesn’t actually look too bad.All I have to do is hang out for nine months … bad.
All I have to do is hang out for nine months getting pedicures and massages while gestating his child.
I’ll even have a chef.
And I need the money.
My profession, making gory practical effects for horror and sci-fi movies, isn’t exactly a growth industry.
Since my family is on the verge of bankruptcy and I just got fired and blacklisted for kicking a spectacularly creepy B-list actor in the nuts for groping me, this could solve all my problems.
But the castle ends up being a gilded cage, with Connor controlling what I can eat, where I can go, and what I can do.
He’s driving me up the wall with his growling, snarly crap.
Between pregnancy hormones, Connor pushing me to the limits of my patience, and the fact that he’s absurdly hot under the mountain man beard, frustrations are rising quickly.
The angry kind. And the sexy kind.
I’m beginning to suspect that a good man might be lurking under Connor’s permanent scowl, but I know getting entangled with him is a terrible idea.
He’s got demons and secrets, and I’m… what exactly?
I’m the girl with crooked pigtails and paint splattered overalls who makes badass blood geysers and werewolf puppets.
I deal in fake monsters. Not real ones.
I’m not the right girl for Connor Prince.
Which is really unfortunate because I might be falling in love with him…
‘Baby and the Beast’ is full-length sweet and sexy romcom featuring a bad boy hero and a quirky girl next door on a crazy road to happily ever after. It stands alone with no cheating, cliffhangers, or nonsense.

Baby and the Beast was the first book I have read by Taylor Holloway. First impression?? Totally blown away! Right from the first page I was hooked. Loved the story of Izzie and Connor. If you haven’t read anything by Taylor, I would start right here. This story gives you all the feels. Cannot wait to read more from the Princes of Hollywood.
Another new to me author and now another author to fangirl over!
I enjoyed Ms. Holloway’s twist the beloved fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.
This the story of the beastly Connor and the lovely Isabelle.
Isabelle isn’t just a beauty, she is fierce and stubborn and oh so loyal to her family. When faced with a life-altering decision, she pushes until she gets what she wants. And then she gets even more!
Connor thinks he is a beast, but really he is just a falsely accused hero. He just wants to keep what he loves close and block out the rest of the world that has turned it’s back on him.
The chemistry between Connor and Isabelle is off the charts hot and the dialogue between the two of them is funny, fresh and swoony!
I loved the secondary characters! I loved trying to figure out how they fit in the original fairy tale.
I was excited and honored to be able to read this story and I can’t wait for the next stories in this series next!

This is the first book I have read byTaylor Holloway and I will be reading more of her books! Baby and the Beast tells the tale of Connor, an infamous ex-Hollywood star destroyed by social media, and Isabelle, an out of work Hollywood set assistant who is desperate for money to keep her family financially solvent. When approached with a surrogate contract, Isabelle accepts his offer and has to move in with him so he can supervise her pregnancy. I strongly recommend this well written book with its heartfelt characters and a plot with humor, unexpected love, and sizzling chemistry.

Nurturing Love
Isabelle Schmidt and her dad have gone through a period of grief and bad luck. Not long after moving from Texas to California, her mom—beloved mother and wife, CPA and the ballast for the family ship died unexpectedly. Working through their grief, the father/daughter set designers specializing in practical effects and props are struggling not only to manage their grief, but also to manage the family’s finances. Compounding the downward spiral of family’s finances is the sexual assault charge Isabelle has brought against one of the actors on the B grade horror movie set where the Schmidts are employed. Instead an expected company censure followed by arrest and charges against the actor, Isabelle is fired and generally blackballed in the industry in retaliation by the production company. And, in solidarity for his daughter’s situation, her dad quits putting an even greater strain on already strained finances.
Jobless and almost penniless, Isabelle’s mind is open to almost any job—any legal and morally acceptable job. So, when by chance runs into a man in an elevator who bears a close resemblance to a sexy but hairy, Big Foot who by chance drops a pamphlet on surrogacy, she is intrigued by the concept. Later at home, she is approached by a stylish man who makes her the most bizarre and unexpected offer which could solve the family’s financial woes—become a surrogate for Connor Palczynski the assumed name for the former actor and dishonored soldier—the public beast—Connor Prince whom she had misidentified as sexy Big Foot. In simple terms, she would have a contracted baby in exchange for one million dollars. The only catch to the agreement is that for the term of the pregnancy, Isabelle will live with him at his castle estate located in the hills south of LA and under his care, following the demands of the contract governing her diet, exercise and activities and including signing away all parental rights before the child is even conceived. Once she gives birth, she will walk away, agreeing to have no connections with the child she has carried for nine months—not even a photograph. And, while she has never really considered having a child, and does not yet even know this theoretical child, can she walk away from this baby of her body and never have any contact? Who is this man? Why does he seek a child by surrogacy? What kind of man is he? Is he the evil man that public believes? What kind of father—solo parent—will he be? And, why has he chosen her to be the vessel to carry this not yet existing child?
As Taylor Holloway weaves the romance of the strangers, Isabelle Schmidt and Connor Prince, to future parents and lovers, she approaches one of the most challenging, but most generous acts to which a woman can agree—to carry a child in her body for nine months, to see the growth of the child as her body changes, to feel that child move, to know that there is a living being living and developing because of her, and then, following birth, walk away, allowing another to love and nurture that now cuddly baby. Holloway explores a controversial topic and allows a storybook ending for the parents and child.

It is so enjoyable and entertaining book. I laughed so hard.
I have images of this spitfire in my head. Beautiful and mouthy, dialogues are hilarious.
It’s also hot and steamy romance with soul healing.
Definitely recommended !

From their very first encounter in the elevator, the connection between Isabelle and Connor was apparent. The chemistry sizzles. The story drew me in and kept my interest throughout. What I really loved about it is that there was so much action. It never got boring because something was always happening. This was definitely a good read and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
This was really cute!
Ms Holloway is a new-to-me author, and one who I will definitely be looking for more from. Baby and the Beast is (of course) a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast–readers who have seen the Disney version(s) recently (or once upon a time watched them over and over and over and over…) will enjoy seeing all of the cute and often clever parallels that she folded into her story.
Connor and Isabelle are likable characters, and it’s not a hardship to root for them to find their way to an HEA together. The premise requires one heck of a suspension of belief, though, and Isabelle is a tad bit on the immature side, but still, I had fun with this one.
I’ll be crossing my fingers that Ms Holloway has more fairytale retellings in store for us; even if she doesn’t I’ll definitely be giving her future books a glance!

A fantastic read! It is entertaining, interesting, and wonderfully written. The characters are intriguing, feisty, bossy, and perfect for each other; the chemistry between them is off the charts HOT! The story line is well-developed witty, funny, and moves at a brisk pace. Definitely recommended.

I really enjoyed this story. It was like a modern fairy tale with a twist. I really liked the supporting characters of Luc and Jimmy. It was well written, the characters had great chemistry and the story had a happy for now ending, although I would much have rather had a HEA ending. I received this story as and ARC and will recommend to others.
The story of Isabelle and Connor is wonderful. Isabelle is sassy, brave, and adorable. The setting of special effects is refreshing and interesting. And I like the author’s writing style. Overall it’s a great read.

A cute modern take on Beauty and the Beast. The story is charming, funny, and sweet with characters you will love. Isabella and Connor are total opposites in every way but go from strangers to more pretty quickly. I loved their chemistry and watching their progression from business arrangement to real relationship.
* First time reading author
I have to say this book was a great surprise. I have read other stories that had a surrogate theme to it, but this one is different. The chemistry, feeling, and emotions that come through from the author just brings it to another level. Baby for the Beast was a very enjoyable read.
I am happy to say that I will be a forever reader of Taylor Holloway.
Modern Beauty and the Beast with Hollywood mixed. Conner Prince Hollywood actor meats Izzie and offers her to become a surrogate for his baby. There where so very funny aspects in the story as well as sexy, a great balance that will leave you wanting more stories retold like this one. I can’t wait to see what Taylor Holloway brings us next.
Isabella and her dad Maurice work on movie sets for a
living. Isabella runs into a straggly I kept man getting off an elevator and hands him a pamphlet on surrogacy and results in life changing events for her. Connor Prince was once a major star but events happened that made him a recluse and wear a disguise in public. He offers Isabelle a million dollars to carry his child and then walk away. What I really loved about this book was Taylor Holloway wrote Isabella as a strong, take no crap off anyone. She wasn’t one to shy away from telling someone off who crossed her.
I was given this ARC for an honest review. Look forward to reading more from this author.
This is my first time trying one of Taylor Holloway’s works. I loved Baby and the Beast, an accidental romance that’s ends in a bundle of joy!

A modern day Beauty and the Beast.
This is the story of Connor a ex actor that wants a family and is tired of waiting. He wants Isabelle to be his surrogate and will pay her as her father needs the money. She lives in his house and gets pampered but he’s a growling beast as he demands that she eats right, can’t leave and do as he says. The hormones are making her angry and wanting him too! But he’s a beast to her beauty and this will all be over when she delivers the baby, right?

This was a cute modern-day twist on beauty and the beast! I loved Isabella, she was so strong, stubborn, and went for everything no matter how terrifying! Isabella is a character you want your children to be able to read about because she is so amazing! The only reason I gave this book 4 stars was because I was not a complete fan of Conner in the beginning but I really liked him later in the book! I love when characters realize their own mistakes and fix them with little to no prompting by their friends and family! In the end, this was an adorable book and I would highly recommend it!
Wonderfully fantastic… The book was amazing… It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it… The characters and their personalities match them perfectly… The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing…
