Angela and Brian Cagle were happy. An unlikely match, they had worked hard to make their marriage work, and when Bobbie was born, their happiness just expanded.
As Bobbie grows, he begins to exhibit some unusual traits. As an infant and toddler, he doesn’t develop speech as expected but babbles in an extraordinary way that the members of the Cagles’ charismatic church family claim is “speaking in tongues.” But the babbling doesn’t fit the known patterns for it to be glossolalia. Too, the boy doesn’t engage with others at all but has spells that come over him in which he repeatedly builds towers out of bits and pieces he finds at hand.
Against Brian’s wishes, Angie takes the boy to the nearby university medical research hospital to try and determine why their son is the way his is. But when Homeland Security takes an inexplicable interest in Bobbie, too, Angela grabs the boy and flees leaving Brian and everyone she knows and loves behind.
Now, after a decade on the run, they are closing in and Bobbie’s father is with them. As Bobbie approaches his sixteenth birthday, things are starting to come together, leading them to a mysterious location in the West Virginia mountains.
This story is definitely not over! The action was fast and tense and as much as Angie is in the dark about what is going on with her son, the reader is as well. Is the human race ready to evolve to a new level? Are aliens guiding our development? Is it God’s plan? The story is well written, entertaining, and fresh. Recommended for a variety of readers because this is a thriller, a mystery, and an epic scifi tale!
For the record, I received an Advanced Review Copy of this book with the request that I leave a voluntary honest review for other potential readers. Having said that, here is my honest opinion and review of this book. I like this story. The plot is rather unique and not similar to anything that I can recall ever reading before. Is has plenty of interesting twists and turns to keep you guessing where the story goes next. A child and his mother following a path to Destiny that can only be picked up intuitively. Each of the characters is well developed and has his or her role well thought out along with their motivations. The development over the course of the story is well balanced with the information needed arriving just when it is needed. This strange future world is well constructed and plays out very convincingly. The writing is good and easy to read while the pace of the story builds well until the climax. All in all a very good read and well worth the time to read it. I am looking forward to the sequel.
What will a mother do to save her son from a harsh life when everyone thought Bobbie was artistic. Angie was hiding from her husband and some evangelist using her son to make them rich. On the run and just staying places until it felt wrong, then going wonder else while hiding. Bobbie made things out of bits and pieces he found and some very rich people wanted his designs badly. A surprising ending but exciting conclusion but was it a conclusion? Good storytelling! Good book!

I thought his best series would be the Kindred but this book is better. A great book for young teenagers, especially boys. The only thing I have against it is a few graphic scenes of torture. (Sadly most boys have seen worst at the movies.) The story flows along at a brisk pace, no dull or boring parts. It will keep you glue to the book. Can’t wait for the next one.
He has been told he was autistic but he was not be had an ability that once known about, would have others wanting to use. His mother takes him and runs to keep him safe. He is a link which could lead to something new happening. What will it be? See what will happen

As the mother of an autistic boy who is now 20 and a teacher who works with children including children with autism, I was not sure how to take this book. Add to that, my strong Christian beliefs, I was intrigued by concerned. Overall, the story came together well and I had to know how it would end. I do not think it was totally disrespecting children with autism because it is my belief that they are incredibly intelligent but think so differently than the world that some of them have trouble connecting. Others connect at different levels.
The only thing I would want people to know is that Christianity, like other belief systems, has many different variations. The true church, which are the people who believe in the saving power of Jesus, and NOT the building or the leaders, are not greedy and thieves. My Christian husband treats me like a queen. This book does not represent Christianity, though charismatic Christianity is outside of my knowledge base. So please do not judge all Christians by one story about a sect of Christians that many Christians themselves would consider a cult. A story about true Christians may not be as exciting to many.

I was completely captivated from the start. I really did not know what I was expecting to find in these pages – but what I found was a little bit of everything.
For the suspense seekers -it’s there , ditto for sci-fi, espionage, and even fantasy.
The book is well written. The author luckily does not fill the pages with fluff so it makes for quick reading.
I can’t wait to read the sequel !

Babble is the first book in The Cosmic Conspiracy series. While you can read this as a standalone, it is clear from the ending that the story is not over. There is some violence. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the book but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It was different from most of the books I have read lately and it kept my interest up. Now I want to read more about what happens next.
Mystery of life. I feel some students and young adults would like this story. We have Bobbi who has been diagnosed as autistic, but his fathers church thinks he talks in tongues. His mother is trying to save him, so she goes into hiding. What is Bobbi really saying? What are these towers he is building? Can his mother protect him? Will his father and the church find them? Will homeland find them? Why does someone what the towers Bobbi builds? What will happen at the end or will we never know?
