Have you ever heard the saying, ‘when a wolf knocks at your door, beware?’ Or ‘keep the wolves at bay?’ Well, what if one finds you hurt and disoriented in the middle of nowhere, then decides to keep you? Is there a saying for that? What if you want to stay? I don’t know who I am. I don’t know where I’m from. Can’t recall any of my past. Everything is new to me. It’s like I’ve been given a new … like I’ve been given a new life.
I know in time I will remember who I am. Or I hope I will. “What” I am. Until then, I’m Colin’s. The stranger who smells of the wild and looks at me as if I’m his last meal.
Colin says he can help me. Right now, he’s all I have because there’s no one else.

First book in the series. I enjoyed the book. I was wanting a little more back flashes from Jessalynn but I understand the author did not want to give away the book . Can’t wait to see what is next.
*WARNING* intended for mature audiences
This starts off very slow due to the female leads injuries. The male leads gets her home, and things speed up. There are many unanswered questions concerning the female, but NONE are answered in this book. The whole book is about these two characters getting to know each other and what they’re daily lives are like. The descriptions of clothing are to much. I gave it three stars because it’s not Insta love. The female doesn’t immediately conform, but puts the male lead in his place. Though there were some things I liked, for the most part, it was boring for me. As usual, I would suggest that you read it and form your own opinion.
This paranormal story had me hooked from the very beginning with the great character and plot development! Colin and Jane kept me totally riveted to my kindle as each page was turned until the very last page!
I have read most of the books by this author. They were really good, but I had no idea she wrote in the Paranormal genre. And holy cow, she can really write a great paranormal book!!! This is my favorite genre and I read a lot of books. And after reading this book, I went into her authors page looking for other paranormal books. I didn’t really think this was her first in this genre. Wow…. it just blew me away. She nailed this book it’s absolutely amazing. She had a great story line and I loved the main characters. Colin and Jessalynn (Jane) knew each other when they were young. When years later they meet again Jessalynn had been saved by Colin. She is in a coma and when she wakes up she has no idea what happened to her or her name. She is blank except for some strange dreams. She recognizes Colin’s voice as the one who talked to her when she was in a come. Of course Colin knows who she is and that she is his mate. When she accepts his invite to stay with him when she leaves the hospital, this is where they begin! I love their chemistry together and it still blows me away how awesome this book is. I can’t wait for book 2. I read this in one night there was no putting this book down. I highly recommend this book and this author!!!!!
I really enjoyed this story filled with sexual tension, eroticism, and a very intriguing story line. I am looking forward to the next installment in this series. I was left longing to know who and what kind of paranormal creature Jane really is, and how that knowledge will affect her future with Colin. Highly recommended for those who love wolf shifters and their devotion to their mates.
Fantastic Paranormal Romance!
This is a fantastic new PNR story that will have you utterly captivated and highly entertained from beginning to end! It had me riveted to my seat with so many questions! I mean this story was filled with amazing twists and unanswered questions that will demand you come back for more! It was highly enjoyable to read!
Colin and Jane are fantastic and complex characters that are drawn together. There is a pull between them that can’t be denied. A deeper connection that Colin knows about but wants Jane to figure it out on her own.
Colin and Jane are very interesting characters that have so much more to tell us. They have a connection and passion that is undeniable and I can’t wait to read how these two are connected and if they figure finally things out.
I was swept away into a fantastic new world and story that has got me hooked. I need the next book!
Definitely recommended for PNR fans.
Jessalyn and Colin are on an island and she is getting ready to leave. He gives her a necklace to remember him by…it was his mom’s. He asks her to promise to return it to him when she comes back. Many, many years later, Colin is running his own company, is Alpha of a wolf pack and has a lot of money. When he is travelling on the road in nasty conditions one night, he scents her…his mate! She is in the road, unconscious, left for dead. He takes her to the hospital only to discover she has been brutally hit several times and is in a coma. Every day for two months he sits at her side, reads and talks to her and brings flowers. He is devoted to her! She finally awakens with no memories at all. She relies upon Colin for everything. Of course, they fall in love and plan to be together~ She does absolutely nothing without him. They know she is something other than human but not what. He knows who she is but cannot say until she remembers. So, she does something without telling him to try and discover who she is….and here it ends…to be continued…she also does not know about Colin’s secret either…this is a very tender love story between two mates that are reliant on one another and his borders on obsession…I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
This is a whole new ballgame for Jordan and she does not disappoint!
Colin and Jessalynn knew each other years ago when they were kids. She had a thing for him, not knowing he felt the same way. He even gives her a beautiful heirloom necklace before she moves from the island. Fast forward to 2016 where Colin runs his own successful business. But we find that not only is he a successful man … he is a wolf! On his way home from work one day, in a horrible storm, his driver and he see a body on the side of the road…The woman is in terrible shape, left beaten and broken to die… His heightened senses recognizes her and then he finds the necklace.
After being in a coma for quite a while, she awakens in the hospital, but has amnesia. She is given the name ‘Jane Doe’. She recognizes Colin when he speaks as the man who has been talking to her while she has been unconscious. Having no where else to go, She accepts Colins offer to stay with him.
This begins their new journey together. Colin has her necklace, but doesn’t tell her he knows her. Their relationship grows and even though her feelings for him are growing, she is wary to proceed since she does not know who she is, although she has hit or miss nightmares. Jane is falling in love with Colin, but needs to know more before she can continue her relationship… Colin loves her and wants to marry her, but who is she? Is she married to someone else? Is there someone else? If there is another life, will she be able to leave him. Colin knows more than he is telling…. While Colin is away on a trip, Jane decides to pursue her need to know who she is by enlisting the help of her new assistant Aaron’s FBI friend. What will happens when Colin finds out? What information will come from this finger printing? Will there be a connection to the person that left her for dead? Stay tuned.
Colin doesn’t think much of any of his relationships until he finds a girl on the side of the road. There’s something about her that he’s drawn to. And not just her beauty. He feels as if there is a connection between them driven by something deep in his psyche. That’s what causes him to sit by her side day in and day out of her coma. Two months pass, and he fears that she may never wake up. When she does, she remembers nothing about her old life, and he’s glad. Colin already decided that this mysterious woman was his.
Colin was a steady character. Before Jane really had much of a role in the story, it was easy to emphasize with him and get inside his mind. After Jane woke up from her coma, I loved the relationship between the two of them. Colin was gentle but confident with her, and their relationship bloomed from something questionable to something beautiful. Even with Jane struggling through her issues with her identity, I thought she was an interesting character as well.
It was easy to get lost in this newest world created by Jordan Leger. Definitely recommended for PNR fans.
