This was another new author for me to read and Muller did not disappoint. It was a relatively fast-paced murder mystery. Despite not having read books one through three in the series, the main characters drew me in. There were a few editing problems with the Kindle version of the book. However, the book kept my interest. Not only was it a murder mystery/police procedural, but it showed struggles with values and ethics and threw in a little romance on top of that. Overall, this was an enjoyable book with interesting characters.
Great read
Very well written. Loved this book
Enjoyed the characters. They were clearly defined, good and bad.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I was compelled to read long into the night and every spare moment I could find in the morning until the book was finished, then I felt disappointed that there was nothing more to read.
the story was exciting and engaging to the end. I loved the portrayal of Noah, tough, intelligent cop with a warm, loving human side. His interactions with and his concern for his family and co workers added a softness to what would have been a true horror story. I would have welcomed more depth in the background of Robert Buchman though, the snippets given stimulated my interest but left many unanswered questions.
It was ok.
Two cops, Noah and Connor, discover dead bodies and search to find the identity of the victims as well as the serial killer. The book takes on multiple narrators so you truly feel each characters thoughts, pain, and fear. Definite page turner book that I couldn’t wait to finish. Only regret is that this is the first book I read from the series.
Too much vulgar language.
I had to purchase the other seasons ….it was very good.
The characters were “real” and the writing was very good.
very enjoyable read, good story, believable characters, and a love story.

every page was spine tingling, saved to best book list.
will read it again and again fantastic read
Seemed like a realistic crime investigation and the difficulties of narrowing down suspects and uncovering the evidence. A good read.
Excellent book, i want to read all of the books by this author!
Enjoyed this book. A good read. Kept you reading until the very end.
I liked this book, but the ending was not complete. There was no mention of the job Noah was doing for the lawyer
