Autumn Feast is an anthology that includes stories from the following authors: Charlie Richards, Suede Delray, Liza Kay, Deja Black, Lynn Michaels, and Catherine Lievens
I for the most part was not a fan of this anthology. The reason I pick up anthologies is two reasons: one it will have my favorite author in it, like this anthology does and the second would be to read some short stories before bed. I do not like that this anthology has books inside of series I did not read. Made my enjoyment of the series go way down. I wished they were just short stories that stuck to an autumn theme rather than snippets from bigger series.
For this review I will give you three of the stories and let you pick this one up to see for yourself if you like this series.
Capturing Autumn’s Airy Breeze by Charlie Richards. This story has an advisory in it. This story follows the events that happened in Meeting His Fiery Heart. It has the story of Agnoroth and his human mate Kristoff. They are making up for this story and condensing why Agnoroth left and some things I just did not get. Cause I never read the story this is in conjunction with. It is a good story but would have made much more sense had I read the previous story.
The next story is Halloween Sabotage by Catherine Lievens this story is a Wyoming Shifters short story. I loved this story much more. But again, lots of people in this story I did not know. Giffith and his mate are throwing a party and the men are all there helping out. It is a cute story and would be a great addition to the series.
The next story I will mention is Quintessence by Suede Delray. This has Liam and Hammish. Liam has scars on his face and on his soul. Hammish has healed the physical scars but the mental ones are taking time to heal. They are really learning to deal with each other’s pain and losses. I really liked this story very heart felt and loving.
Overall Autumn Feast was not the anthology for me. I was lost much of the time. Though I did find a few gems and new to me authors to check out again. If you have read the series in this anthology, I think you will love this one more than me.
Four Twinkling Stars
Halloween Sabotage was a cute story. Perfect for the season. The only part I got confused about was Julian; but that’s only because I haven’t read the series. Meeting the characters in this story has wetted my desire to read more. Although it’s only one book in the anthology, it’s a great read and worth the purchase of the book.
Halloween Sabotage is a cute little story. I loved it that the assassins are trying to do something good for the kids at the shelter. And I loved meeting the cahracters I‘ve become fond of. And seriously, this Julian guy needs a purpose for his life.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
Autumn Feast is an anthology by various authors, including Charlie Richards, Suede Delray, Liza Kay, Deja Black, Lynn Michaels, Catherine Lievens. This collection of short stories have paranormal fantasy themes that will delight readers. It’s perfect for these chilly autumn nights… grab some apple cider, light the fire, curl up under the fuzzy blanket and delve into these wonderful and heated stories of shifters in love.
Capturing Autumn’s Airy Breeze by Charlie Richards is a Wolves of Stone Ridge Short Story. Agnoroth knew Kristof was his mate but circumstances have kept them apart and unclaimed for months. Now that he is free of that debt that kept him away, this dragon has some Wooing to do. It is a fun story that delivers the heat, angst and a touch of justifiable violence. Fantastic story and interesting characters make you want from this world.
Halloween Sabotage by Catherine Lievans is the second book in the Wyoming Shifters Short Stories series. There is someone trying to sabotage the Halloween party for the kids at the shelter. Will the council assassins be able to save the night or will the plans go to awry to salvage. This story pulled me in and made me want to look more into this series the character are from. There was suspense, mystery, and drama.
Harvest Blessings by Liza Kay is a fun and sexy read. Krill and Andrei have their hands full in this interesting and entertaining autumn themes story. Planning a festival, training enforcers, awaiting the birth of thier first child via surrogate and dealing with insecurities gives the story enough drama to grab our attention and the love between the main characters is hot enough to keep it.
Quintessence by Suede Delray is an interesting and entertaining story with drama, suspense and immortals. Hamish and Liam are entertaining characters.
Red Run Ruckus by Lynn Michaels is fun, with drama and heat. Interesting and enjoyable characters and storyline about shifters and standing up and fighting for survival and family.
Say Yes by Deja Black is the story of a Wolf shifter who has cold feet and the Goblin who wants to commit. There is about to be a lot of convincing going down this autumn in this fun and interesting story.
Overall, this anthology is fun, interesting and enjoyable. I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
