Austin Harris is not the kind of man you want to double-cross, he’s fiercely loyal to his band, and to his family. As one-fifth of the biggest bands in the world, he’s got women dropping to their knees with just a blink of an eye but his heart is locked away and he threw the key a long time ago. When unforeseen circumstances bring him back home after a decade, he has to make peace with the past … past for a second chance at true love, but Suzie’s hiding something that could change everything.
Suzie Thomas thought she would have it all, but then the love of her life walked away from her leaving her standing in the dust. She’s worked hard to make something out of her life, but when tragedy comes knocking, she’ll have to fight to stay above water. She never expected to see Austin roll back into town, but now that he’s back, there’s no avoiding him.
When trust is broken and love is put to the test, can these two dance to the beat of the music?

When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I cannot wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book is an emotional second chance love story. After over a decade apart Austin and Suzie are in their hometown at the same time. They broke each others hearts and should have gotten over each other by now. That does not seem to be the case though. Tragedy might have brought them back together but it will not necessarily keep them there. They will have to work thru all of the choices made years ago. Neither has trusted their hearts for a long time. This book will have you on an emotional roller coaster.

So emotional but in all the right ways. A true tearjerker of a story but with some absolutely wonderful moments following Austin and Suzie as they rekindle their love.
A deep story with deep feelings and even deeper characters. Austin is just who you need him to be and his unfailing love and support for Mav was beautiful to read, as was watching him try to convince Suzie he wanted her.
Suzie was just a champion, she just battled through and carried so much for everyone, I adored he heart and spirit and how she put everyone ahead of herself even her love for Austin.
A hard story to read in a lot of ways yet wrapped in love throughout which made this a true romance despite the depth of some of the storylines
A great read but have tissues ready

This is book four in The Saints and Sinners Series and it is Austin and Suzie’s story and omg have the tissues ready because you will definitely need them. Austin is a famous country music superstar and in the saint and Sinners band and they had become his family but when his mom phones and tells him that his best friend Mav has terminal cancer and doesn’t have long to live Austin knows that he needs to go to his hometown and confront all the memories that he has never forgotten and the only girl that he ever loved but he knows that it is not going to be easy. Susie has worked hard to become a doctor and now she has her own clinic while working at the hospital and looking after Mav and his two boys so her life is busy but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Austin and Suzie have a lot of history as they were so in love but he wanted to leave his hometown and she wanted to stay so they broke up and also broke each others hearts but neither forgot or got over each other and now he is back but this time around Mav and his boys were the most important people and as they Marshall going through so much they had to be taken care of regardless of how Austin and Suzie feel about each other. Austin and Suzie have a connection and chemistry between them that is as strong as ever but with everything that is going on and the fact that they live in different countries will they get a second chance or is it too late for them. Omg I don’t think I have cried so much as I did while reading this story and get I still couldn’t put it down as it took me in right from the start and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and it was so addictive. This book was absolutely incredible and even though the rest of the books in this series were amazing this book is definitely my favourite even though it broke my heart. Kaithlin Shepherd is an amazing author and writer and her books have so much depth to them that you feel like you are there going through everything yourself and they are true masterpiece’s written by one of my favourite authors. I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by Kaithlin and you will definitely not be disappointed as she certainly knows how to keep her reader’s attention and on the edge of their seats while reading her books and I can’t wait to read more in the future. Five Stars are definitely not enough for this book and other written by her and her books would make amazing films.
