Alien Captain’s Prisoner: A standalone scifi alien fated mates romance by Corin Cain is a great story to read. I do not read much Sci-Fi but I really enjoyed reading this one. I recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about Sci-Fi and paranormal romance

This is a fun escape from reality. There is a lot of work that went into the world and character development that made it easy to “see” the story. The storyline is also very well done and I didn’t find any plot holes. Then you get to the actual romance and things only get better. The chemistry is steamy and I loved the dark themes. It’s a wonderful beginning and I’m excited to read more.
Hot and fast read. Drama, steam, action galore. Love this series. The author puts so much in a short story. Five stars.

Tasha, Captain of her own ship and 6-person crew, is unable to escape their pursuers, three Toad assault ships, despite her engines powered at maximum boost. With the constant laser blasts, the shields are waning, but she needs to divert even more power to the engines. If they can get to the other side of the planet’s moon, they can lose themselves in the asteroid field and have a better chance at escape. The Toads shoot a missile at them but miscalculated the pull of the moon and their missiles exploded off-target with the blast’s inertia pushing Tasha’s ship out of the way! They slingshot around the moon and prepare to navigate the asteroid field – but it isn’t there! Instead, there’s a huge unidentified warship sitting in wait with powerful artillery pointed right at them. The warship’s loading bay door opens and a tractor lock pulls them inside.
As Tasha feared, the warship was Aurelian whose males are always seeking their fated mate. Aelon was the Captain of the alien ship and recognized that Tasha was the fated mate to his Triad, composed of Aelon and two battle-brothers psychically bound to each other and to their mate. How could she fight against the domineering Aurelians? Was there no escape possible? And what would happen to her crew?
This was a high-action, fast-paced story line that grabs the reader up from the very start as the battle is fought with the Toad ships and then the bigger danger of the Aurelians. How will the two strong-willed captains react to each other when it goes completely against what Tasha can tolerate? Grab your copy and see if Tasha and her crew survive their capture.
This book starts with a kick as you step into the first page and the female ship captain is making a frantic run from 3 enemy ships chasing her. Just as things get better they get worse when a tractor beam from an unidentified warship grabs hers and takes it prisoner. Considering the female captain runs a ship that has just made the biggest stolen haul of its life, being pulled into a ship occupied by Aurelians is the more immediate danger. Now the question is: are these aliens part of the law-abiding Aurelians or are they part of the Rogue faction. The first means the captain and her crew all go to prison for 40 years, the other means the women on board might be forcibly taken into a harem and no one can guess what might happen to the men. And if the aliens are law-abiding, there is still the issue of Aurelians having a fated mate they all look for and that each Aurelian comes with two battle-brothers who are psychically bound to each other and their mate.
That all happens in just the first few pages of this book. It definitely grabs your interest from the start. Our intrepid captain will encounter a pull to the Aurelian captain which she loathes but is unable to deny, betrayal from part of her crew and a decision to take their punishment for them as a captain should do. What will these two proud, strong-willed captains do with each other??? The sexual chemistry and tension are off the charts and the characters are easy to care for. I recommend.

Friendship, loyalty, honor, wits, integrity, and honors…the characters have these in abundance. With that much goodness, how can there not be a happily-ever-after!

From the very first book in the Aurelian universe, I have been enthralled with these alien alpha warrior triads and their fated mates. Poor editing aside as this is an advanced reader copy, I enjoyed Allie’s story, an action packed sci-fi adventure with three dominant alphas and lots of Aurelian steam. Very nice!

A wonderfully dark alien/human romance sci-fi reverse ménage story. Allie is doing whatever she needs to in order to survive and find her sister who was kidnapped. Unfortunately, Allie broke the law and so three Aurelian warriors have been sent to track her down and bring her to (their type of) justice. Things don’t go quite as planned when Kitos, Hadrian and Daccia find Allie, they realize she’s their fated mate and so they place her safety above all else, including their duty to their species. This is an action packed fast-paced human/alien romance and an enjoyable story to read. The author has done a great job in building this world with its laws and characters. The main characters have great chemistry despite their preference not to be fated mates, especially for Allie who is desperate to find her sister rather than fall in love. There are some steamy scenes in this book between the four. This is a brilliant story to add to my collection of this genre.
