I am in love with this series. I just ordered the next bundle of books. I will keep ordering until I have read them all.
Loved all 3 books. Easy read……interest holding….Try it, you’ll like it!
Gluten-free baker suspected of murder. It could be the juicy headline of this book. Bald eagle falls turns out to be not such a sleepy and safe little town. Erin has started a gluten free bakery there and ends up being a suspect in a murder. She starts investigating and that turns out to be more dangerous than you’d expect.
As you get tonknow the characters in this well written mystery you wonder who is the murderer, and why. And finding out about people’s secrets will not be the last unexpected turn the story takes.
These are fun little stories. The characters are great and provide the perfect little escape!
Loved this set so much that I bought the next set!
Entertaining enough quick read, but falls into the trap of dumbing down the main character in order to work out certain plot points. I liked the story, but won’t read the rest of the series as this and the constant repeating of information became annoying. The audience isn’t stupid! We don’t need continuous reminders of the details we’ve read.
Love the main characters Erin and Vic as well as delighting in Orange Blossom who keeps everyone on their toes. Anxious to discover if Marshmallow develops a personality of his own, since he did survive against all odds.
Excellent cozy series!
I read the first one and enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the next two
Thoroughly enjoyed!
Gluten-Free Murder, my first read from author P.D. Workman, although I own several of her books I’d never gotten around to reading one and after I’d acquired Auntie Clem’s Bakery #3 I wanted to read the first two books in the series before reading it, I really don’t like to read books out of sequence. Gluten-Free Murder is extremely well written, the characters well developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book. After reading this book I now know much more about gluten-free than I did before and why it’s such a big deal.
My second read from author P.D. Workman (the first was so good I had to read another immediately), although I own several of her books I’d never gotten around to reading one and after Dairy-Free Death, m’d acquired Auntie Clem’s Bakery #3 I wanted to read the first two books in the series before reading it, I really don’t like to read books out of sequence. Dairy Free Death is extremely well written, the characters well developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book and now in the second book of the series you already know the characters and can appreciate the continued growth of the characters and the community.
Allergen-Free Assignation, my third read from author P.D. Workman (the first two were so good I had to read another immediately), although I own several of her books I’d never gotten around to reading one and after I’d acquired Auntie Clem’s Bakery #3 I wanted to read the first two books in the series before reading it, I really don’t like to read books out of sequence. Allergen-Free Assignation is extremely well written, the characters well developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book and now in the third book of the series you already know the characters and can appreciate the continued growth of the characters and the community as well as the author’s 3-book weave to get to this point. So many things from the first two well-written books now make even more sense with the culmination of the third book. I’m really glad I read the books in order and look forward to P.D. Workman’s next book. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
