I ended up buying the next book, wanting to see what happened next.
Another book I am reading twice, soon as I,can get the money I will buy the books that follow in the series.
A simplistic take on how life changes can impact your world view. Unrealistic, but an enjoyable easy read with a happy ending
Her writng gets better as the series goes. I have fallen in love with the characters more over time.
detailed character, a bit slow but not terrifying or bloody. encouraged exploration of different parts of your character, creativity and expression to avoid being dull.
The stories were short and the characters and story had no depth
I read many books in a year and this one was one of my favorites
I enjoyed the first part of this story, but the rest moved to slowly for my interest.
I like how this author writes. Very descriptive but not boring. No real surprises in plot but you still wanted to finish the story.
A good, quick read. Parts did not seem possible but a cute story.
I thought this book was a bit slow to start but I enjoyed the characters once it got going, especially the ones in Scotland. It’s a good cozy fiction book.
Loved this series I felt like the characters became old friends!
Great read. I loved reading about someone more “mature in age”, making a new start in life. Was a delight to read!!
Very enjoyable! Recommend!
I want to read the whole series. I have already read book two!
I really enjoyed the writting style and the charming charters. CW
Charming scenes of Scottish life and a strong lovely woman in her 60’s!

At times I want to throttle her but all in all good
Easily relatable
