Great book with useful suggestions in how to manage habits
Great life skills!
Succeeding as a freelancer takes a lot of work. The right habits will make it much easier for you to succeed. This book will help you develop the right habits.
This is a life-changing book!
I found this book absolutely worth the hype it has.
Outstanding book. Makes so much sense. Just apply simple habits daily.
Useful, insightful, practical. If you have ever said, “I don’t have enough time” you have to read this book. I recommend it to every ambitious person who has only 24 hours in each day. 🙂
The most helpful and practical book on habits I have ever read! James is a very clear communicator – combining very comprehensible steps, personal stories, and suggestions that you can immediately apply to your own life. I was able to analyze some of my habits and start or adjust my methods. Despite the ease of reading, this book is also a reference that I will go back to often. I’m ready for the next book!
“Habits create the foundation for mastery.” The author’s own backstory from high school is what drives the principles in this amazing book. It is filled with such simple ideas that if followed can change your entire life, just as they did for James Clear. The book also includes a rich Appendix, with extensive notes and an index. I also subscribe to his easy to read 3-2-1 Thursday newsletter. Also a valuable resource.
I am a sucker for building good habits and Atomic Habits by James Clear is by far the best book about cultivating long-term positive habits.
It is realistic, down-to-earth, and anti-gimmicks. Definitely one of the best self-improvement books to read.
Check out these quotes about the power of Atomic Habits.
This book was incredibly helpful. Loads of evidence and stats to back up his recommendations, but in an easy to digest format. A game-changing self-help book. It doesn’t make creating a new habit easy – but it is does make it DOABLE.
This was a great read if you are looking to just maximize your productivity or efficiency. It gives practical and simple tips to make small changes that have a big impact. Loved it and recommend for anyone that has trouble developing and keeping good habits.
Great book. Gave me practical applications to change my bad habits to good habits.
Non-Fiction, but a great resource for focusing your energy on who you truly want to be.
“Success is not a goal to reach or a finish line to cross. It is a system to improve, an endless process to refine. “
I just returned this book to the library and then bought a copy in hardcover. I’m going to make my family read it. It’s SO good. It’s the kind of advice that makes me want to become James Clear’s personal evangelist.
In the first place, I like the science he uses to explain what habits really are and how we acquire them.
Furthermore, this book has no ego at all. Clear isn’t trying to convince the reader to embrace his system or his lifestyle. The book is empathetic and clear-headed. I might need to reread it a couple times a year just to keep me headed in the right direction.
Makes habits seem more doable and is in easy language to understand
Do 1% better every day and it will all build up and lead to great results that last!
Of all the books I’ve read on routine and healthy habits, this one resonated the most. I liked the way habits were broken down and the examples that helped illustrate the points.
This book lays out a simple way to improve your habits and to stop bad habits. It’s an easy read, informative, and very easy to implement.
Fantastic, insightful, practical methods to apply!
