She’s a beautiful disaster and he can’t walk away. Atlas Warner is a god. With a needle in his hand, there’s nothing he can’t do. Except find pizza… and maybe love. The two things his life is currently lacking. He’s everything she ever deserved in life, but she refuses to see it. With the body of a goddess, curves for days, and absolutely no sense of adventure, Darcy Rose doesn’t have time for … absolutely no sense of adventure, Darcy Rose doesn’t have time for anything but work. Until Atlas barges into her life and refuses to let her fade into the background.
Together, they could have everything, if life doesn’t tear them apart.

I need the next book pronto! This has become one of my favorite books by Shaw Hart of all time. Darcy was so relatable and Atlas was such an awesome guy. I couldn’t have asked for more!
So I picked this up on a complete whim. I read the blurb for it and I just had to read it right now and I honestly can’t tell you why. Not that I can think of a single reason why not but for whatever reason this book hit me with a bang and I grabbed it on KU.
Darcy was a little weak and sheltered for my liking but that was fine since Atlas more than made up for her lack of character. I mean seriously if the dark black hair and light blue eyes don’t have you melting why not throw in a body full of tattoos and a few well placed piercings? And then to just go for the kill shot let’s make him all kinds of sweet, caring, jealous, possessive, obsessed and besotted and we have ourselves the perfect book boyfriend.
This story was all things insta love set in a tattoo parlour surrounded by eye candy and I loved it. It was a quick hot read that I could pick up before bed that is going to guarantee sweet dreams and a happy hubby. I can’t wait to see how Mischa and Indie play out in their story next.
Quick and cute.
Great characters.
Plot was okay. Somewhat predictable.
Wish it were hotter.
HEA.

Darcy and Atlas’ story was cute and endearing. Atlas fell quick and hard for her and didn’t know how to take it easy. Her insecurities and overreaction left them both miserable and I’m glad she came to realize it was her and to trust him. Things can never move too fast when it’s true love. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Oh my I loved this book. These two characters are amazing and perfect for each other. Both have their own inner battles but together they both complete the other and fill that void or help the other realise how beautiful they really are.
Atlas is a tattoo artist, a pretty good one too infact. He would do anything for the guys he works with because they have become more of his family then his own real family. Even though he was a only child his parents would never show up for any of his events, they always had to work.
Darcy is the owner of a nursery and landscaping business. She did not have the easiest child hood, she was always picked on and bullied. She goes with her best friend who is getting a tattoo, and this is where she meets Atlas. Darcy can not take her eyes off of him and feels instant attraction to him, but doesnt believe a guy like him would be interested in a girl
Like her.
Atlas never thought he would fall for someone at first glance, but he feels it and knows she is the one. He will help her to open her eyes and see how truly beautiful she is to him, she is perfect to him.
Picking up this book, I wasn’t too sure if it was something I’d like or not. Shaw Hart is a newer author to me, besides the books I read in the series where it’s multiple authors. But those books are always sweet novellas with a guaranteed HEA.
With that said, I absolutely adored Atlas. He was really sweet, loyal, and right by Darcy’s side even when she had broke up with him believing he had done the worst thing.
As a teenager, Darcy was picked on, bullied, and abandoned by her mother. Now as an adult she may not look the same without her back brace she wore through high school, but the damage has been done and Darcy is a shy, quiet, and a lacking in self confidence. When someone as gorgeous as Atlas starts to show her attention she’s not quite sure what to make of it.
Loved this and think it’s a great start to the Eye Candy Ink series!
I loved this book! Atlas is a confident tattoo artist who although grew up with what should have been a great family didn’t have the love and support of his family that he deserved. Darcy was left by her mother and was raised by her grandparents while she was growing up she was constantly bullied. This story starts you with feeling hopeful as they meet and get to know each other and then you hear to have them fall in love and get their happily ever after whatever that maybe….. I am in anxious anticipation for this series!!! Shaw Hart 5 stars you have done it again!!!
Don’t let the tattoo shop setting and inked bad boy on the cover fool you, this is a very sweet contemporary romance. Beneath Atlas’ piercings and tattoos lies a heart of gold that only beats for Darcy. He sees her, truly sees her, in a way that she doesn’t even see herself and it is very endearing and romantic. Darcy struggles with overcoming childhood insecurities and accepting herself for the strong, beautiful, independent woman that she has grown up to be. They complimented each other very well as a couple. I liked that this book was told by dual POVs so we got each of their perspectives. I also liked Atlas’ coworkers and I’m glad to see that each one gets their own book in this series. I love interconnected character series and Eye Candy Ink is no exception!
A good start to a smoking new series. A hot tattoo artist and an insecure nursery owner. When they say opposites attract nothing is further than Atlas and Darcy. The sparks when these two make eye contact will make you blush. Will her insecurities get in the way of their happy ending? I cannot wait for the next book in the series as I’m sure it will be just as good as this one.
I always look forward to when this author releases a new book because I really like her style of writing and I couldn’t wait to dive right into this new book series. I’m so glad I picked up this book because it was an awesome story that I just couldn’t get enough of. This is book #1 in the Eye Candy Ink Series.
Book #1 Atlas
Book #2 Mischa
Book #3 Sam.
This is Atlas and Darcy’s story and oh how I loved these two.
Atlas works at Eye Candy Ink with the other guys and is an awesome tattooist. He is also the youngest and is also extremely sexy and is also very loving and really takes care of the people in his life that he loves. He loves his job and thinks he’s got things figured out apart from love. That is until he sees this woman looking so beautiful and has such a banging curvy body that he knows that he wants her, she’s unlike the usual women that just throw themselves at the guys she seems so shy and so beautiful and so unaware of her beauty and Atlas falls so hard and so fast that I think even he wasn’t expecting what he found.
Darcy is not like other woman, she’s not that bothered about make up and she loves to work outside with her business doing landscaping. Darcy has been through some tough times and she doesn’t trust easily. At one point she completely gets her wires crossed and has a total misunderstanding and I really feel for them both. Atlas falls apart completely when he thinks that he has lost her.
Darcy and Atlas both need love in their lives and these two are prefect match together.
Can they both work it out and have the love that they both need?
(NO SPOILERS)
This author really knows how to write her characters and once you start reading you are really invested in this story whole heartly. This is a real instalove story that is also hot and steamy and its a fantastic romance read and the chemistry between them both is electric and you will love them.
Atlas is such a beautiful person that he loves completely with his heart and soul and I think he’s a great guy that you wish was real. You also want Darcy to be your friend too, she has low self esteem and did have some problems with her back when she was younger and I love and really feel for her with what she has been through and the fact that she has body image issues like a lot of people. I love this authors work and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future. I need to read book #2 NOW LOL! I couldn’t put this book down and I finished it in one sitting and I can not wait to start the next book in this series.
This book is out now.
There are a lot of tattoo parlor focused romances around and it is a given that I will get each and every one of them. I love this kind of romance and Shaw Hart brings her own magic to it with Atlas. Atlas is a solid guy to his friends but he hasn’t been interested in dating for ages. That all changes when Darcy comes to support her friend getting a tattoo. Darcy has a lot of negative memories from her past that still have an impact on her daily life. So when Atlas expresses his interest, she has trouble trusting him. There are some bumps in the road to get to that happy ever after but each and every tear was so worth it by the end. I loved these characters and I am so thrilled that they will all get their own books. I cannot wait to get my hands on them all.
Four and a Half Stars
One of my favorite things is when I discover a new to me author and fall hard for them. “Atlas” was my first book by Shaw Hart and I really, really enjoyed it. This is a short InstaLove romance read and there is nothing I like more than to be able to read a book in one sitting and get all the feels.
This book has a sexy, tatted, determined main character. Once Atlas spots his woman, he.goes.after.her.
Darcy is sweet, shy and curvy and willing to take a chance on the man of her dreams.
Atlas and Darcy fall and they fall hard, and it makes for one helluva sexy, sexy ride. An added bonus, this book is filled with fantastic secondary characters, that I look forward to reading about in their own books.
I highly recommend this short and easy read. TBR and enjoy! (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)
I enjoyed this so much. I was hooked from the blurb and I love discovering new authors. This is an insta-love romance with a curvy girl and the hot tatooed artist who doesn’t care about her curves but loves them. It’s sweet, sexy, so hot, and just the right read to get away from real life for a while.
This is the first book I’ve read by Author Shaw Hart and I was so excited to read it as the basis of the story revolves around a tattoo parlor and tattooist Atlas and his eye candy D’Arcy .
I love tattoos and everything about them I have eight of my own and after reading this story I can’t wait to go back and get More.
D’Arcy is a beautiful woman with low self esteem after being abandoned by her mother at a very young age and raised by her grandparents who loved her adoringly but after years of bullying from high school about her appearance it’s left her confidence in herself at an all time low. She’s curvy and beautiful and when she steps inside the eye candy tattoo shop with her room mate for her friends first tattoo she doesn’t realise how much her life’s about to change.
Atlas takes one look at the curvy beautiful woman and knows she’s meant to be his .
He eventually where’s her down and gets under her skin both litteraly and figuratively and soon D’Arcy blooms into her self confidence and finally finds something she’s always been looking for. Love.
