With ancient archaeological artifacts sharing visions of life long ago. Dr. Keely McDermott is cast into a world between past and present, between reality and illusion. The third book in the ‘Warriors of Poseidon’ series is a stunning, non-stop excitement read that holds readers in its thrall from beginning to end. These strong, brilliant character wow readers with their sizzling chemistry and their powerful auras with a sweet, emotionally gripping romance and zest for life that really speaks to the readers. The relationship is in no way simple in fact it is quite complicated as Lord Justice’s sanity is threatened by his splintered psyche.
The plot is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout with lots thrilling suspense, energetic and magical battles and surprising twists that get the adrenaline pumping, making it hard for readers to sit still but yet unable to takes their eyes from the pages. Oh, and let’s not forget the added amazement of the appearance of a god in all his spectacularly powerful glory. The vampires and shifter in this series continue to be evil, vile and spine chillingly deadly as they continue to plague the warriors and humans alike which gives readers a generous helping of bad of guys to wish horrible things upon, another words this romance invokes powerful emotions in readers and ensure that they have a very enjoyable reading experience.
What can I say? This is my all time favorite genre in my favorite series by my favorite author all in one. What more can a girl ask for? Love me some Lord Justice and the boys. Call me crazy but, I keep hoping Anubisa would have an epiphany and decide she wants to be one of the good guys. A girl can always hope. Lol.
Ocean’s Away……
Lord Justice one of Poseidon’s warriors has carried a sad and soulful secret for thousands of years, but now he can shout it out without fear of killing those who hear it due to a gaes imposed by Poseidon himself. He can find peace and redemption for the thousands of years he has lived in silence to save his half brothers life from the clutches of the vampire goddess. He has never had hopes of finding his own mate, so his brothers should enjoy theirs.
Dr. Keely McDermott a very gifted Archaeologist and not so gifted in the eyes of her parents and colleagues because she can touch an artifact and see through the eyes of that time….She carries a wooden fish around her neck and can see her dream warrior carving it. Little does she know that she is about to be whisked away by her blue haired dream warrior.
What adventure and passion awaits…….
Justice sacrificed himself for his brother Ven he thought he could give himself to the Vampire Goddess but he couldn’t and she through him into the void where he remained until Dr. Keely McDermott was brought to Atlantis and then for some reason the void opened and things started to happen. This is a wonderful book I enjoyed from beginning to end, the characters are fabulous, the story line very interesting. I was given a copy from author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.
Love this story. The mystery of Atlantis is magical to me and the exploration & explanations in this series just make me be even more for team Atlantis. Real or fake, this depiction is very engrossing. Love this couple so completely different yet so connected on a much higher level, I’m a sucker for a man that is just totally has eyes for his woman. I enjoyed their banter and the challenge that she brings to his warrior who has been through so much just because of his heritage. Very adventurous, action-packed and interesting paranormal. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.
Lord Justice had made a deal with Anubisa, the evil, murderous, twisted and obsessive goddess of Chaos and Night. He will voluntarily serve her if she promises to release his brother Vengence and his wife. As she encircles his waist and raises with him to leave Justice knocks the healing ruby out of her grasp, sending it down to his brother so they might save his unborn niece or nephew, the child of Prince Conlan. For centuries he’d be cursed. In telling anyone of his heritage, he would be forced to kill them. But just once, before he left him, he wanted to acknowledge him. As he looked down to Vengence and Vengence meeting his eyes, Justice called him brother. In doing so Anubisa whispered in a long dead language and Justice was thrown into the Void she had just created. Justice now floated in a dark dimension composed entirely of pain.
Dr. Kelly McDermott was an archaeologist and touch psychic. She had no friends to speak of and tended to push her colleges and other people away because, let’s face it, friends often touched you and wanted you to touch them or their objects or children and she would be on a mental overload from it all. Even her parents referred to her psychic ability as her condition. So was it any wonder that the wooden carving of the fish she found and wore as a necklace and had produced the images of a blue haired warrior that carved it thousands of years ago caused her to hang onto it tighter than anything else she had? He was hers when she needed someone.
This was such a powerful story. Both Justice and Kelly ostracized because of something beyond either of their control. The heart break, the loneliness, the weight of keeping a secret that could not be shared with anyone else. This was so much more than just two individuals finding their fated mates. This was about acceptance of others and yourself regardless of the differences. About love and loyalty. These books only get better and better and right now, I feel like this one has the best of what Alyssa Day has brought to the series.
The first chapter covers the end of Book II, Atlantis Awakening, so you could begin the series here, but you would have missed so much of the goodness, I recommend beginning with Book I, Atlantis Rising.
Ever since Keely had touched the wooden fish placed around her neck, she could see him…her blue haired warrior.
Who is she…the face Lord Justice keeps seeing?
I am lovin’ these fabulous love stories filled with magic and wonder. Each set of characters are unique in their own way, with secrets to be revealed. I love the feistiness of the female protagonists and their male warriors can TRY to control them all they want.
It was so funny when Brennan met Tiernan. Laughing through some very funny situations. I do like to enjoy my danger and torment.
I love Keely’s description of the Warriors…McHotties. I think that gives you a hint of Alyssa Day’s personality shining through her writing.
Funny, sweet, dangerous, uplifting, happy…OMG…the best one yet. I am blown away with this steamy, adult, sexually and magically explosive happy ever after.
But wait…it’s not over yet.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Atlantis Unleashed by Alyssa Day.
