I used to dream about living a life full of adventure and traveling to exotic places. Now all I can say is—be careful what you wish for. When I woke up on the morning of my 21st birthday, the only thing I cared about was spending the day with my dad, doing what we love—digging for artifacts and treasures lost to time. But when my dad gives me a gift from my dead mom we’re both sent hurtling … both sent hurtling through time and space to a place that we thought was lost to legend.
Rescued by four sexy princes of Atlantis and thrust into their world, we are forced to deal with harsh truths of the past that lead us to the predicament we now face: My dad and I can’t go home, and the annoying bond between the princes of Atlantis and myself grows stronger with each passing day.
This new world is changing me. But for better or worse? Only time will tell …

Exciting!! Atlantis!!! TimeTravel!!!
J. Grace really knows how to involve her readers and make them feel like they are on the adventure! This was so enjoyable and exciting to read a different spin on a book about Atlantis! The love between Father and daughter is refreshing to see they are best friends! ! Absolutely one of the best books I have read in awhile. This made me want to find Atlantis and join on the journey!
The mc is strong and kind. This book had an interesting plot. I’m not especially interested in the myth of Atlantis but the characters and plot of this book drew me in right away. I’m glad this isn’t the last we will hear from these characters.
Atlantis is probably one of the most enchanting mysteries of our world. It’s one of those not fictional and yet fictional places. We all want to visit it and go there and we all have our own ideas how it looked like and where it is now. So, when I got the chance to get an ARC for this story I didn’t hesitate. I was so curious what kind of Atlantis I would find in this book and what an awesome adventure would be waiting for me.
And I was quite happy when I started reading yesterday and discovered that the story was as enchanting as I had hoped it would be. This book presents a really nice and unique take on the world of Atlantis, what it looked like, what it looks like now and why we can’t find it anymore. And, to make Atlantis even more magical, every Atlanthian is a shifter! And there are as many kind of shifters as you can come up with.
On top of that there is a nice and threatening plot in this book. The stakes are high, the characters have something to win and they have something to lose and the solution to their issues is easy and hard at the same time. The plot gives the characters the chance to explore Atlantis and to show it to us, without it feeling unnatural or without doing so by dropping info dumps. I have to admit that I would have loved a little more dramatic ending, but that’s just my dark soul.
However, the focus of the story was mostly on the slowly forming relationship between all the different characters. Of course, the most important ones were the relationships between Avalon and the guys in her harem. I loved how they connected, bonded and really talked. Even though this was a destined mates story, it never felt rushed. But, there was also an amazing blossoming friendship between Avalon and her future sister in law and I loved the bond Avalon had with her father (and mother).
If the author would ever expand this world, I’d love to read it!
I really enjoyed this story. Avalon and her father are pulled through a portal to Atlantis, where she finds out that she’s detained to help save this new world, with the help of the four princes.
The world building really pulled me into Atlantis and was a new take on the mysterious world. I loved all the characters, and I really felt their emotions as they went through their own journey.
This was a good read. World building was very good for a stand-alone novel and the characters were interesting and engaging. As a stand-alone there is only so much you can do with plot, character development and such but this was done well and the story was enjoyable. The ending seemed very rushed and abrupt after all the build up and was unsatisfying for me. I felt it was very anticlimactic. There wasn’t much steam for an RH novel which was disappointing but what there was of it was well done.
I’ve read two of the books in this collection now and have felt the same about both- good but not exceptional.
