AprilI dropped a bomb on my boss/secret lover and ran. It was a cowardly move, but what else was I supposed to do? I found out I was pregnant and freaked out. He doesn’t do relationships so there’s no way he’ll want a baby. When he doesn’t come after me, and I don’t hear from him, I fear I’m going to be a single mother. This is what I get for falling for a man I wasn’t supposed to– an … an emotionally unavailable man. He says he cares about me but I want more than that. I’ve always wanted more with him and I refuse to settle for less…if only I could stay out of his bed…
Zac
A baby wasn’t something I ever expected to have. I could barely hold a relationship for two weeks. That was before April, of course. My trusted assistant held my interest for all of two years. I had a serious addiction and she was my drug. But it was purely sexual and I let her know that. I didn’t do serious relationships and I didn’t do love. But, we had a baby on the way and I was starting to have these strange feelings about…commitment. I’m not sure what’s happening. Am I being cured of my severe case of commitment phobia?

This is the second book of the three.
So continuing the story from book one Alice ran from the office telling Zac she was pregnant.Zac was stunned into silent and he stands there in shock.Zac doesn’t do relationships or kids.
Alice gives her notice and stays homes and cries a lot.she also realised that she has fallen in love with him.
While reading you learn a bit more about Alice past and eventually she tells her best friend the truth which kept hidden from her for two years.
Zac realises that he misses Alice his assistant and friend she always kept him grounded and organised in the office. He realise that he has been in a relationship with Alice for two years and that he has feelings for her.
Eventually Zac goes to see Alice they talk and things pick up again.
I enjoyed this book now for the final book to see what happens.
Middle of the trilogy – the conflicts begin – learn about Zac’s commitment phobia and how April deals with it; especially with her past. This trilogy is my first of MD Blossom’s books and I am thrilled to have found her! My suggestion is get the 3 book set so you can read the entire trilogy at once.
This is the next book to April and Zac’s story. She has just told the non relationship Zac that she is pregnant and turns in her notice and leaves. April is brokenhearted because she knew that Zac did not want a relationship but she had hoped he would change his mind. Zac never wanted anything serious and he was shocked when April told him she was pregnant but he has been in a relationship with her for years so maybe he could do what he never thought he could.
The bomb has fallen, Zac knows that April is pregnant and does not know what to do. April is convinced that Zac hates her. When Zac is at her door after 2 days she gets hope again ….. hope that Zac forgives her and will take care of their child with her. Zac is still not aware of his deeper feelings for her but knows that he cannot let her go.
Nice to read how especially Zac struggles with his emotions. That he has not had a role model as a father means that he does not know whether he can be a father.
I have received this book through bookfunnel and am leaving my voluntary review

Ramping all the swirling emotions into play front and center, sending this baby into a tizzy, blowing it into one stunning culmination. Meting out incredibly enticing, well rounded scenario’s, ramping up the exuberance and style, with such intensity and precision, blasting this little fella to life spectacularly. Blundering through the trials and tribulations, along with a slew of surprising twists and sharp turns, fuses this baby together sleek, shiny and tight. The chemistry sizzles as each layer is peeled back exposing a deep bond and amplifying affections that leave you breathless, craving more. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that blend into unbelievable personalities. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there with them instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job Blossom, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
This is the continuing saga of April and Zac’s story and it will take you on one wild ride. A boss, assistant relationship that is sexual in nature as he made it clear that he doesn’t do relationships. He’s has a bad case of commitment phobia. How do things change when a baby is on the way. Does Zac run or do his feelings begin to train. Does he put on his big boy pants for a change? The story just gets hotter and more entangled. Can’t wait for #3. Well written with lots of drama, twists and great characters.
