Mia and Adam what a beautiful couple! This story is quite the book because you can’t help but love how they both come together when things get tough. This book and the whole series for that matter are great because it tackles issues that are realistic and the reader can’t help but feel invested in the character’s lives and their journey to finding love. One click this author you will not be disappointed!!!
I listened to the Audible version and the narration was excellent. Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh both make different characters sound unique, differentiate between a character’s spoken words and thoughts and convey emotion along with the written words. It makes it enjoyable to listen to even when the topics are sad, difficult or, at times, frustrating. I’m sure I liked the story more because I listened to it.
I really like the writing style and Brenna Aubrey does a great job with her imagery. She describes feelings in creative and interesting ways. The writing is really pretty even when parts of the story are sad. I had a lot less patience for the relationship drama in At Any Moment as I was hoping they had figured out what was important by the end of At Any Turn. If I was afraid that someone I cared about wouldn’t live to see their next birthday, I would make the most of the time I had with them and I didn’t feel like that was the case here. I was hoping this book would be about a couple working together to deal with life’s hardships, but most of the book felt like a beautifully written and wonderfully performed frustrating step backward for Mia and Adam. I would like to listen to more of the series, especially because For The Win sounds like it’s a little lighter subject area.
At Any moment is the breathtaking conclusion to Mia and Adam’s emotional, and sizzling romance! They continue to fight for each other, not letting the other let go of what they have built together. When Adam finally learns that Mia is in the fight of her life, he will do whatever it takes to get her through it. The sacrifices they both make puts so much pressure on their relationship. They must pull down all their sheilds, tear apart their relationship, and face the deep, destructive feelings that they have buried for far too long. But will they have the strength to endure, or have they hurt each other too much to be able to build something strong to last forever? This emotional and heartrending story took my breath away. The way their relationship stumbled and grew felt very authentic and real. I loved how all their friends and family worked together with unconditional love and support. The way that Mia blossomed and came alive was so beautiful. Adam was so thoughtful, protective, and totally swoony!
Narrators Jason Clarke, and Kirsten Leigh are so perfect as Adam and Mia. They easily bring out the push/pull between both Adam and Mia and allowed us to experience their vulnerabilities and strengths, and sizzling chemistry! I enjoyed both their performances as they made this story even better.
This is the third book in the Gaming the System Series, and the last installment in Adam and Mia’s trilogy. You have to listen to this series in order. The story continues where the second book left off. The storyline is slow paced, and emotional. Their story is heartbreaking, and heartwarming afterward. This is a great conclusion to this trilogy. Kristen Leigh and Jason Clare did a great job with the narration.
Audio review
This compelling series just gets better all the time. Mia and Adam have, without doubt, been through the wringer and, in At Any Moment, they still have a thorny path to follow. Again, the narration is outstanding, with both narrators bringing the characters to life with skill and confidence. I particularly love listening to Jason Clarke who captures both male and female voices and captures the essence of their hearts flawlessly. Kristen Leigh is wonderful as Amelia, bringing her heartbreak and hope to deep emotional life. An audio that I found impossible to stop listening to and which has been an absolute pleasure

Gaming the System, Book 3
By: Brenna Aubrey
Narrated by: Jason Clarke, Kirsten Leigh
Mia and Adam’s story continues in this third book of Brenna Aubrey’s “Gaming the System” series. She is in for the battle of her life, she is finished pushing Adam away. Adam realizes the errors of his way but can the two get past the hurt and damage to their relationship. The love is there but sometimes that is not enough. This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride, more so than the first two. It is realistic and heart-rending at times, what Mia went thru and the toll it took on both of them. This book is beautifully plotted, there is plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions and loving romance. I was rooting for these two they were great together they just needed to get their acts together and get past their own issues and be there for each other. I loved how much each one of them grew as a person. Brenna Aubrey mastered character growth with these two, it was a journey and a half for them but so worth it in the end. Thank you for this awesome story and series.
I listened to the Audible edition, Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh are talented narrators and voice artists. They are awesome at portraying the characters, giving them their voices and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen

Gaming the System, Book 3

What a couple! I love Mia and Adam. This is book 3 of their story, and it is amazing. It does not standalone, so make sure to listen to the first 2 before queuing this one up. Their journey has been tough. Made for each other, but stubbornness and tragedy keep them at arms length. Now is the time for their to work through their problems, learn to communicate and find out if they really are meant to be! Brenna Aubrey has outdone herself. I have been captivated by this couple. I think the relevant issues make the story real and the characters’ reactions true to life. It broke my heart and healed it back to encompass all the love this couple has. With characters and stories like this, I will keep coming back to hear more!
Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh finish out their story with an emotional performance. These two are Adam and Mia and really bring out all the heart wrenching emotion of their story. Each has a way of articulating the personality of the character to our ears, building their person so we feel we “know” them. It was a wonderful experience listening to them.

Audio review from 2017
This book was rough. Adam and Mia are both stubborn and hard headed. I yelled at them both, but mostly Adam throughout their primary story.
I do however like how they wrapped up their hurt and gave each other their ending to one chapter of their lives to begin a new one.
