Proposing on national TV was the plan. Falling for my best friend’s sister wasn’t.DrewConfession: I went on a reality TV show to get over my best friend’s sister.Guess what? It didn’t work. You know what’s even worse? The show hired her to help me get engaged before the finale airs.KateWhen I agreed to help my high school crush get engaged, I thought it would be simple. What I didn’t expect was for … thought it would be simple.
What I didn’t expect was for old feelings to resurface.
Or for Drew to remember our stolen kiss from seven years ago.
My career depends on convincing him to propose to someone else. Messing that up would be stupid, right?

Oh my, where to start??? I guess with a lesson I learned the hard way. Do not pick up this book if you have anything else to do. I took it to work to read on my breaks, I couldn’t simply put it down when they were over. I was hooked from the first page. This is one of the best friend’s little sister tropes I have read. Drew is a wealthy bachelor looking to move on from his best friend’s sister, so he tried reality tv. Kate agrees to help Drew with the promo tour for the show as a way to get her foot in the door with the studio.
It has been quite a while since I have found a book that I needed the next book as soon as I finished it. Not five minutes after I finished this one I ordered the next book. Judy Corry is amazing and I can’t wait to see what awaits me in Hollywood and Ivy.
Just when I thought Judy Corry couldn’t out do herself, she goes and or does herself! I have fallen in love with “The Billionaire Bachelor,” and will definitely have to reread this novel while praying she makes more just like it. The detailed characters, thought-out storyline, attention to every little detail- it couldn’t have been more amazing if she tried!
This author understands TV show production! (well, the parts that were in the story, at least.) The romance was wonderful. The twist was hoped for and perfect! Loved, loved, LOVED it!
The Billionaire Bachelor by Judy Corry
Uh oh. Another brother who tried to keep his best friend away from his sister. (See my thoughts about brothers who do that in my review here.)
As with many of the billionaire stories I’ve read, the fact that Drew is rich mostly comes to play in the way he doesn’t know which of the women in his life really care about him for who he is and not for his notoriety or his money. (Of course, if he was really thinking about it, that would have been reason enough to keep him from agreeing to be on the reality dating show!)
The chemistry between Drew and Katie is well written. It manages to be electric without being inappropriate. I really appreciate the way the author manages to describe kisses in a way you can feel the attraction without providing visuals that are way too much. And I appreciate that Drew has a commitment to keep himself pure until he marries and is not the typical roguish bad-boy. Kate is so sweet. She needs a nice guy like him.
I loved the scene where Drew and Kate were making brownies in her mom’s kitchen. The witty repartee and the sparks that were flying were so much fun! Another great scene was where Drew helped Kate come up with dialog for her screenplay. His lame attempt at improvisation was hilarious!
Overall, this was a fun read. If you enjoy stories with a premise that is a little over the top (remember, this is about a billionaire!) and a lot of humor and sweet romance, this is a story for you.

I would like to thank Judy Corry for giving me this item. This gift did not influence my opinion or review.
In this charming romance, Drew and Kate were best friends in their teen years. However, after the death of Kate’s brother, the link was broken. Drew went on to become a billionaire and Kate eventually got married to someone else. When they bump into each once more on a late night expedition to the store, the connection is once more made. Drew is on a reality TV show and Kate is still trying to break into the screen writing market. The romance in the story builds slowly with an undercurrent of tension all the way through. Despite his billionaire status, Drew remains grounded, without an inflated opinion about himself, and while Kate is impressed at his success, she isn’t star struck. The humour is good and there is also some pathos as they recall events in their teen years when Aiden was still alive. The story is well written and I also enjoyed the fact that it is clean without detracting from the romance. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I could not put this book down. Although I am tired of billionaire stories this one did not bother me. Honestly that was not the focus at all. The story of two childhood friends who meet up again was done well. The assumption (there is usually a few annoying ones in each romance I read) was handled well and without drama. I loved the maturity. The end was awesome and the story was swoon worthy with out needing to hide behind closed doors. I can’t wait to get my hands on more by this wonderful author.

A fun start to a new Judy Corry series.
I enjoyed Drew and Kate’s story, albeit the sad reason they needed a second chance to begin with. I loved how their easy friendship picked up from when they reunited, even with all the baggage, history, current personal situations and paparazzi to contend with in their relationship. A great story with a great segue into book 2.
I don’t watch The Bachelor, but I love books that incorporate that type of reality show into their story line and this one was great. Drew and Kate grew up together and have lost touch for seven years–until now. He’s the billionaire bachelor and I loved seeing how things worked behind the scenes, and wondered how true-to-life it really is.
Drew and Kate have a wonderful connection and their chemistry is off the charts. Corry does a great job in capturing the romantic tension in this steamy clean love story. I love that Drew and Kate share a past and a solid friendship, which given the mutual attraction, gradually flourishes. There was a surprising depth and emotional element to this book that caught me off guard, since I was expecting pure fluff. Never fear–the fluff and sweetness is still there, but this depth brings about an engaging story that captivated me from start to finish.
