“Assassin Levi Agozi has lived a brutal life, but at his core is a man of strength and honor—my favorite kind of hero. I have added a new autobuy author to my list and her name is Ella Sheridan!” –Lara Adrian, New York Times bestselling authorI killed my first man at the age of twelve. I’ve been killing ever since. I thought it was all I lived for…until Abby. Until the woman I’d kidnapped became … Until the woman I’d kidnapped became the woman I couldn’t walk away from.
She owns a piece of me I wouldn’t take back, but the rest? The only way to protect her is to hold back the parts inside me that are too ugly to ever reveal. I’ll keep her safe, even from me.
And it works. We have the nights, and I hunt my way through the days. Alone.
Until an attack reveals a threat we didn’t see coming. One that could take away the dream I didn’t realize I had.
Everything. With her.
I’m on the hunt of my life. My prey might run, but in this fight—for her, for us—they don’t stand a chance.

The third book in the Assassins series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is a continuation of Levi and Abby’s story. What an awful man her father was he had no remorse for anything he did. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second book in the series and is about Abby who has been kidnapped by Levi and he is fallen in love with her. I love the romantic suspense of the storyline. This book kicks into action straight from the start. Can these two make it. I look forward to more for the this series.

This is so fantastic. The obsession and need that Abby and Levi have for each other in story is so vivid, and primal.

This is an action-packed story filled with rage, vengeance, bullets and love — all told in the male POV.
Great story that has you on the edge of your seat throughout the book. Never a dull moment with these three assassins.
This book is a part of a series and, although best read in order, it can also be read as a standalone. The story fills you in for the most part to understand the past events.
Well written story worth the read! Keeps you entertained.

This is the final mind-blowing book in Levi & his Little Bird, Abby’s story. It is fast-paced, has twists, scares, a bit of gore and violence, and a hard fought love. To be an assassin is a pretty tough career choice if you want to have a relationship, even if your love accepts your job! We see a lot of Eli and Remi (Levi’s brothers), and a few secondary characters come to the fore. I had more than a few anxious moments in this read, the tension ramped up, and I almost chewed my nails off. I found this to be an engrossing page turner, and happy to see Assassin’s Heart is up next.
I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.
Her safety was paramount!
“Assassin’s Prey” was told from Levi’s POV and I enjoyed that because you really got to see what made Levi tick. He was dark, growly and very dominant but with good reasons and if you messed with his brothers or Abby (the only person that kept him grounded )… well their days were numbered! As book 2 started, its a fast-paced set-up again in the works and Levi was BOSS whether Abby liked it or not! I admired Abby’s independence but still commanding Levi and his brothers were always there to keep her safe regardless!
This story kept me at the very edge of my seat with many thumb biting twists and turns, smexy times , suspenseful revelations and even some comedic relief but what a satisfying HFN ending!
Holy cow. So many twist and turns in this book that your hooked quickly. I loved reading this series and can’t wait to continue to see remi’s story next. I’m excited to see where the author brings us next.

Another fantastic book to the series. The author once again delivers an intense story that had me glued to the pages. She picks up on Levi and Abby’s story and builds the drama , mystery and danger as well as the steamy romance with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. I loved their characters as well as the supporting cast. The story flows fluidly with all the suspense and action throughout. I’m looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend reading!
I really enjoyed the first book in this series but this one just didn’t hold my attention as well. I couldn’t quite put my finger on why exactly. Maybe it was because I wasn’t to fond of how their emotions were back and forth for a lot of the time. Wanting to commit and then not wanting to, or not facing things. I expected for more things to be resolved sooner with more communication but it seemed like mostly sex instead. I did enjoy the suspense of the story and loved the ending. Even though I preferred the first book more, this one was still worth reading.

My…My…My…I want more..more..more..of this amazing couple that had me glued to the pages, with an ice cold drink beside me to cool me down during the hot and steamy scenes and needing a new set of nails after the nail biting suspense and action throughout the book.
Once again Abby is front and center in Levi’s world with more danger that seems to follow them after a year apart. Levi not wanting to stay away from Abby renters her life when she has settled down, not being able to stay away and let her go for good. Abby welcomes him back after a brief standoff and they continue their intense need for each other. But all is not shiny and smelling of roses as they resume their relationship…their relationship is not that of a normal couple and their lives are threatened…but the real mystery is, is it because of Levi or Abby’s past that has them hiding out once more.
An AMAZING read that had me on the edge of the seats with a story that had me wanting more more more of this couple and of course the other steamy brothers. Levi was still as intense and mysterious but his vulnerability and love towards Abby, shone throughout. Abby, was a strong and resilient woman who couldn’t resist Levi, no matter the cost. The story flowed beautifully, all the characters were spot on, the steam was oh my steamy, the suspense/action was nail biting and the twists kept coming…can’t wait for the next one!!!!
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Assassins Prey continues to keep you on the edge of your seat with breathtaking page turning fear, danger, and exciting action packed suspense! Also what’s not to love when you toss in a boatload of steaming hot sex as Abby and Levi’s story continues. I very much enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to the next sexy action packed book by Ella Sheridan!
This book is in a series and should be read in order to understand some of the characters and past events.
Levi Agozi is an assassin as well as his two younger brothers, Eli and Remi. They do what they can to protect the lives of innocent people but they sometimes find themselves in trouble due to their occupation. Levi is in a “relationship” with Abby Roslyn after he saved her life yet Levi can only giver her so much as he doesn’t want Abby to be involved with his occupation.
Abby Roslyn was almost killed by her father Councilman Roslyn but now she is ready to go on with her life and follow her own goals but when another attempt is made on her life, Levi is not ready to let her go.
Yet soon Levi, his brothers and Abby discover that not everything is as it seems and they have been looking at everything wrong. When Detective Bryant from Levi’s past starts digging he realizes that there are links to the past and he himself is getting to close to the truth.
Can they find all the links before it’s too late?
This is another exciting book in the series. It had action from start to finish and great twists and turns to make you wonder what was going to happen next!
I really liked Levi and how he struggled with his relationship with Abby. He cared so much about her and didn’t want to let her go yet at the same time he didn’t want her mixed up with his life and the dangers that came with it. As funny as it sounds he was an assassin for the right reasons and he didn’t have an easy go growing up and did what he had to in order to survive and raise his brothers after the death of his parents.
I liked Abby and her strong nature. She knew she needed more than what Levi was able to give her but she didn’t want to let go of him at the same time. She also knew that she was good for Levi if he allowed himself to open up to her and let her make her own decisions about her future.
Although Levi was worried about meeting Detective Bryant, I liked the link he was able to make and how he truly came through for Levi and his brothers. This definitely changed the pace of the book and opened up so many more possibilities.
I loved Abby’s plan and how that helped Levi’s chances, but it also showed the ability of Warren Redding to get what he wanted.
The huge twist near the end left me wondering if what happened really happened as it almost seemed not calculated enough for Redding. I was glad I was right!!
The end was great and I was super happy that Levi realized what he needed in his life and that Abby was right for him!
My only complaint in this book is that we didn’t get to see Abigail at all.
4.5 Stars By Rebecca
Assassin’s Prey is the second book in the Assassin Series, a great Romantic Suspense. You have to listen to this Series in order. The story continues where the first book left off. The storyline is fast-paced and suspenseful, filled with danger, action, and twists and turns. There is a lot going on in this story and we learn more about the characters, Levi, Abby, Remi and Eli. I love the brotherhood in this Series. Levi and Abby share a strong and sizzling chemistry. This Series is really addictive, and I highly recommend it. Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter did an outstanding job with the narration. Now, I can’t wait for the next book in the Series, Assassin’s Heart, Remi’s story. If you like Romantic Suspense, this Series is definitely for you. #AudiblyAddicted (review updated with the audiobook version)
Once again Levi and Abby pulled me into the story. The action and pace of the story was fast and kept me interested all the way through the story. I like this world and the sex is scorching hot between this couple. I hope the other brothers get a story.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
Something’s gotta give…
My socks are officially knocked off. I have fallen even harder for Levi, if that’s even possible. Levi, Abby and Levi’s brothers are faced with their worst nightmare. Levi faces his worst adversary yet, but the kicker is he does not know who it is for sure. He is at his wits end. Always the protector Levi is having to face his fears of something happening to his Little Bird.
In this story Levi comes to terms with his true feelings for Abby. Abby herself is no shrinking violet. She is a fighter and does not want to stand in the shadows. She wants to be by Levi’s side the whole nine yards. The two of them together are a forceto be reckoned with. There were a few scenes in this book that had me close to tossing my kindle across the room. The suspense made me jittery and anxious, but in a good way.
What remained steadfast was Abby and Levi together with their feelings for each other. The hot sexy scenes between them had my fingers singed from swiping my kindle at hyper speed. I loved that Ella Sheridan wrote this in Levi’s POV. I really wanted to knowwhat thoughts rattled around in his head.
Whoa! I was a bit up in the air with this series after reading the first book but Assassin’s Prey was addictive. It was still dark and sexy and dangerous but there was more depth to it.
Yes, there was still the back and forth and lack of communication between Abby and Levi. But there was an understanding too. It was hard for Levi to let Abby in. Never before in his life had he let anyone in. It was him and his brothers against the world. But when his world puts Abby at risk, all bets are off.
It didn’t take the Agozi brother’s long to figure out who was behind all the mayhem. And then it was a race against time to put an end to the threat before it took them out. Even when Abby resisted his measures at every turn, Levi did his best to make her see that her safety was his priority.
Ella Sheridan delivered a pulse pounding, non-stop, danger ride with more than one curve in the ride. In a battle of assassins and a struggle for power and money, Abby was what kept Levi grounded. Was there a lot of sex? Yep- maybe even too much. I wanted more communication between Levi and Abby. While I found some things predictable, especially the twist towards the end, I still had to know what would happen next.
Hauntingly beautiful romantic suspense!
Oh my word, I was happy with the HFN we had at the end of Assassin’s Mark, but this book vaults the entire story to the next level! We pick up where we left off, with Levi unable to stay away from Abby so he gives everything he can to their relationship. Their peace is shattered when a new threat arises, and the shocking twist about where that threat originates was completely unexpected!
The action barely lets up enough for the characters to catch their collective breaths and address the dysfunctional aspects of their relationship as the threat is uncovered layer by layer, secret by secret. We get more backstory than I ever suspected from the first two books, though I guess I should have seen it coming. The emotions are running dangerously hot, resulting in a cathartic release that changes everything.
Abby really shines in this story as she reaches deep into Levi’s heart to own every fiber of his being. Remi and Eli aren’t mere bystanding relatives; they’re written with the same level of heightened awareness and emotional depth, holding promise that the author will feature them in future books. The HEA is so much more solid than I dared to dream for these two, making this a must-read book in this amazing series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Assassin’s Prey by Ella Sheridan is book Two in the Assassins Series. This continues the story of Abigail ‘Abby’ Roslyn and Levi Agozi so you really should read the previous book ‘Assassin’s Mark’. There is also a prequel that you may want to read ‘The Assassin’ which is free on Amazon at this posting time.
As we learned in the previous book Levi focus was on protecting his brothers and everything connected to him…never a women. But then Abby happened and his focus is on her too. They are dealing with what they are to each other and trying to work through their feelings but in addition there is a heavy threat that is shadowing everything.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Fast wild ride. Levi is a mans man who takes care of his own. He is protective, loving and fierce. Abby is a lucky woman who recognizes her worth and isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants.
