“Assassin Levi Agozi has lived a brutal life, but at his core is a man of strength and honor—my favorite kind of hero. I have added a new autobuy author to my list and her name is Ella Sheridan!” –Lara Adrian, New York Times bestselling authorI killed my first man at the age of twelve. I’ve been killing ever since. I thought it was all I lived for…until Abby. Until the woman I’d kidnapped became … Until the woman I’d kidnapped became the woman I couldn’t walk away from.

Until an attack reveals a threat we didn’t see coming. One that could take away the dream I didn’t realize I had.

4.5 stars Ella Sheridan is fast becoming a one-click author for me. I fell in love with both Levi and Abby in Assassin’s Mark and I am thrilled that their story continues in Assassin’s Prey. This romantic suspense is sure to keep you on your toes as it is full intrigue, action, and some scorching chemistry between our favorite assassin and the ever fiesty Abby.
Levi remains a strong alpha hero who is “the assassin, the lover, the brother” that I loved in the previous book.. He is possessive of Abby, but he fears that he will destroy her. I admire how loyal and protective he is towards Abby and towards his younger brothers. Abby remains a strong heroine who is definitely no doormat. I feel for her because her life is turned upside down with all that goes on in the book and also because Levi doesn’t always give all of himself to her. Nonetheless, her love for him never waivers. These two make such a great couple.
Assassin’s Prey is told entirely from Levi’s POV and I do wish that there were a few chapters from Abby’s as I would love to get into her head. I loved reading more about Eli and Remi and I hope that these two sexy, complex characters get their own books. This book has an engaging plot and moves at a great pace. There is the mystery of who is after them and why and it was entertaining to see how it all was revealed. There were moments when I gasped and struggled not to throw my kindle and other moments where I thought my kindle would spontaneously combust from the hot scenes between Levi and Abby. Overall, I really enjoyed this romantic suspense. There is a HEA with no cheating and no cliffhanger.
This book series is why Ella Sheridan is an auto click author for me! Assassin’s Prey is the continuation of Levi’s and Abby’s story and it is the high octane adrenaline rush of Assassin’s Mark. There is fast paced action, scorching sexy scenes, angst and hellfire. I loved watching how Levi flourished under Abby’s unwavering love. I loved how strong a character Abby was in the face of Levi’s bossy protectiveness. Remi’s story can’t come soon enough!

This is a great book about a young woman named Abby who is kidnapped by an assassin named Levi. He falls in love with her, of course, since this is a ROMANTIC suspense book. But the suspense parts immediately start to occur by attacks on them. At the beginning of the attacks, the readers is left to wonder who the attacker is, why they are attacking them, and if the target is Abby or Levi or both? The main question is if Levi can keep them safe so they can have an HEA? And, as in many romantic suspense books, there is a shocking ending. I highly recommend this book.

Book number two in the Assasins series is the continuation of Abby and Levi’s story. It is just as powerful if not more then the first of their stories. I found myself on the edge of my seat and in tears during a few parts. I love the imperfection of Levi and how Abby brings out a side he doesn’t want to accept he is deserving of. Abby too must have the patience to show him that they are better together than apart, no matter how that is to play out. That this is their relationship and it doesn’t have to be someone else’s idea of normal but their own.
Levi’s brothers Remi and Eli are so much fun and I have been enjoying their interaction as brothers to Levi and how they all interact with Abby. It is truly a gift being given to us the reader.
I truly can not wait to see what comes next with this series!
