“I inhaled this sexy, gritty, thrilling new series and I can’t wait for more!” — Lara Adrian, NYT Best-selling AuthorI knew the minute I saw him that Levi Agozi was too perfect to be real. I didn’t care. He came to me, asked for me, and, dazzled by his dark good looks and the bad-boy aura surrounding him, I gave in. Willingly. My father is set to become the next governor of Georgia, and he’ll use … of Georgia, and he’ll use me to get there if he has to. He’ll hand me over to the man with the biggest bank account and political pull.
I wanted something more.
I wanted Levi. And I had him—until I woke up, disoriented and confused, at his mercy. He’s a bad boy, all right. A sexy, deadly assassin. And I’m the pawn torn between him and my father, two powerful men intent on destroying each other.
I might not understand their war, but I do understand one thing: no matter who wins, I lose.

Hot and fast read. Drama, steam, action galore. Love this series. The author puts so much in short a short story. Five stars.

The night of her life becomes something completely different as she becomes the pawn in a plan for revenge
Assassin’s Mark by Ella Sheridan is the second book in the Assassins series. It picks up where the first book, The Assassin, ends. So you do really need to read this series in order to understand the characters and the basis of the story that is woven along the books in the series. This book is told from the h, Abby’s, POV which is interesting but at times frustrating as a reader.
I enjoyed this second book a lot. It was a fast paced, exciting, engaging, action packed and dark romantic story. The H, Levi is a bad man but also a good man yet he has done very bad, bad things. The dichotomy of Levi is shown when he is with Abby as he has those things called “feelings” about her yet he has always said he does not feel. Thus he can be an Assassin and not feel remorse for what he does.
Abby is just a pawn for her father and also Levi. She is caught between these men in their intriguing political machinations and revenge schemes. You have to feel sorry for her as she is first seduced by Levi but instead of having the night she envisioned she is kidnapped and held prisoner by him.
I enjoyed reading Assassin’s Mark and would highly recommend it. If the next books in the Assassins series are the same or better then this will be a great series and characters to spend time with.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I found this to be a superb storyline that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and on edge throughout the whole book!
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting.
Add in drama and steamy passion and you have a good read.

I first read this book on Radish and I fell in love with both of the main characters. I will say he was mesmerizing as a character. The beginning was amazing and I was enjoying myself with a good book then bam!…the author twisted the story and he became even more mesmerizing and I was hooked! I loved the way the author turned the story on its head and Levi became the ultimate villain. Then he became so much more as the story progressed. Just when I settled in once again, Ms. Sheridan twisted my insides more by making her a strong character even as he played with her emotions. They were the perfect match. Then the author introduced his brothers and I was in love. I loved this book and I look forward to reading more of these characters and Levi’s brothers. Highly recommend.
This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Ella Sheridan; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

This is my first Ella Sheridan book and I find myself pleased she is now a part of my author loving world!
Levi and Abby shouldn’t work or shouldn’t have even happened but they did and it’s how it works that makes the story so good.
The whole time your reading it you wonder if they are going to be together in the end or not. The ending will surprise you, it did me!
This is the second book in the Assassins series, and the continuation of Levi, and Abby’s story. This was a great read, well written, and the characters are likeable, and have great chemistry. I look forward to reading the third book.

I read the prequel to this series and was looking forward to book 2. I think this is going to be a good series. I was left a little wanting and not in the good way with book 2. Hopefully it tightens up in book 3.

I enjoyed this dark romance. I was all over the map guessing how this would go and this story did not disappoint. Wonderful intrigue, romance and mystery. Well worth the read.

This is the first full length story in this series and it’s a fast-paced enjoyable read. Levi initially sets out to use Abby to extract revenge on her father. Best laid plans go out the window as Abby is stronger than she thought she was, and Levi is unable to really hurt Abby as he falls for her. The two have great chemistry and Abby eventually shifts allegiance from her dad, who she realizes is not the great man she thought he was, to Levi and his brothers. There is lots of action, mystery, intrigue and steam in the telling of this brilliant story.

Brace yourself ‘cause this story is going to grab you by the balls and not let up! Told in Abby’s POV, Abby is an innocent pawn in a secret battle between her father, a state governor with political ambitions, and Levi, a brooding and ruthless assassin out for revenge. The intrigue, the drama, the secrets, the smokin’ hot love scenes will have you white knuckling your kindle until the very end. And even then, there is a teaser for the next book which is a continuation of Abby and Levi’s story. Bring it on!!

Levi Agozi is an assassin who was targeted by one of his former clients, Derrick Roslyn, and now he is planning on turning the table by bringing him down any way he can. For Levi that means kidnapping Derrick’s daughter, Abigail, and using her as a pawn in their game.
Abigail Roslyn has never had a close relationship with her father and has continually felt like a pawn in his life and used how it best fits Derrick’s own personal agenda. Yet never could Abigail have realized the extent her father could go to in order to get what he wants.
Can Levi keep his attraction to Abigail strictly professional or will his attraction to her get the best of him?
This book was great and had so many twists and turns and true surprises through out!
Levi was a great character and you truly felt for him even though he was an assassin. He had so much guilt over what happened to his brother Remi and he needed to get to the bottom of why Derrick wanted him gone. Levi had an incredible loyalty to his brothers and then he became extremely protective over Abigail as well.
Abigail was so mad that she had been taken and needed to get out of Levi’s place but gradually she
began to see press conferences and watch how Derrick was able to manipulate things which made her really think about her life. I loved watching Abigail see what had gone on and change her view on certain things.
The twists and turns in the book were awesome and there were times when I thought I had certain
things figured out or how they were going to go and I would be close but not right on. I loved all of the mysteries and secrets.
The end was intense for sure and I wasn’t sure how everything was going to pan out but I was super happy!!
I can’t wait for the next book! By Rebecca

If you are a fan of LJ Shen, Levi will put you in mind of a quasi-politer, more stabby Vicious if Vicious were an assassin. The things this man can do with a KA-BAR and robe 😉 I’m not a BDSM fan, but there was one scene where I was kind of like: DAYUM Levi! It’s not a BDSM romance at all, but once you read the part I’m talking about, you’ll know why my mind was in the gutter. He is a no-nonsense, protective, dominant AF alpha who definitely met his match with Abby Roslyn.
Did the king of the assassins take the throne? Yes, yes, and then some! I’m giving this one my coveted 6/5 star improper fraction crown, robe, and scepter! This series reigns as one of my ALL-TIME favorite series and is a great example of why Ella Sheridan needs to be a one-click author for you Even though I’m a Cinderella girl through and through, I cannot help but to be drawn to the dark shadows of dark romance and romantic suspense. I adore a good anti-hero story. I think it’s one of the reasons Fahrenheit 451 was so wildly appealing to me at a time I didn’t enjoy reading (GASP! ) and why I absolutely adore Loki from the Thor/Avengers movies This book delivers those feels on so many levels and it’s nice to see a contract killer with a conscience every now and then Irony at its best and most delicious.
Abigail Roslyn has played puppet to her master marionettist father for too long. At 21, she has lived to please the whims of a man who sees his only child as leverage. Refusing to be a pawn in dear ol’ dad’s sick political games, Abby decides that before her life is over as she knows it, she’s going to give her innocence away to a man of her choosing, not a man chosen for her. A night with the girls is interrupted when a tall, dark, and handsome stud with captivating grey eyes zeroes in on her and makes his heated interest in Abby well known. A spin around the dance floor and some banter between the two solidifies her decision to give it up to the stranger from the bar. Little does Abby know that meeting this stranger is not serendipity or by happenstance. There’s a more sinister plot at play and poor Abby goes from being a caged bird to captured prey.
The handsome stranger who was so tender from the night before is long gone and in his place is a avenger bent on destroying the only family Abby has left. Unsure of why she is the one to suffer, she makes Levi’s life as difficult as possible, but with each tongue lashing and rough-handling, Abby tries to ignore the sparks of wild attraction between them and it seems like Levi might be trying to do the same. Levi believes that Abby is the perfect pawn to get revenge on her dad for the attempt on his brother’s life, but he didn’t bank on her hating Derrick Roslyn as much as him. A bond begins to form between the unlikely allies, with Abby falling fast for her captor and Levi trying to remember she’s just a mark. But, the body language between the two doesn’t lie and even some outsiders are starting to raise some eyebrows.
A man on a mission, Levi knows if he doesn’t carry out his plans, he is effectively putting the noose around his and his brothers’ necks. Yet, the redhead beauty who looks at him as both sinner and savior makes Levi question if using Abby is still the best plan, especially when he sees his possible redemption in her beautiful eyes. Once D-Day comes and the plot to bring down the gubernatorial hopeful comes to an explosive end, how will they walk away from each other? Can captive and captor make a relationship work or will Levi leave her with a broken spirit and a broken heart?
Be warned: There are acts of violence, an account of kidnapping, foul language, and steamy scenes involved. Readers sensitive to these might want to forgo this one along with the series. Ella Sheridan
Non stop action, suspense, steam and flipping the pages till I was done. The story of Levi who kidnaps Abby to get to her father, an evil man who wants Levi and his brothers out of the equation. He almost succeeds and in retaliation Levi takes Abby to use against him. Abby is being used as a pawn between the two men and while being in captivity she can’t understand why she is being drawn to her kidnapper. She’s confused, scared and angry but as she gets to know Levi and his reasons she has to decide who the real monster is…Levi or her dad…or both.
I couldn’t put this read down that is told from just Abby’s POV, but what a POV that I didn’t even miss Levi’s. I LOVED how strong and brave she was, the inner conflict with herself and what she does when she finally realizes who the real monster is. The suspense is nail biting, the steam..oh my the steam…and the bad boy assassin Levi who beneath all the rough and coldness, Abby sees who he really is and what family really means. Just when you think the story has finally found its HEA, the author throws a wrench in the plans and I CAN’T WAIT to see what happens and from Levi’s POV.

His Little Bird…
Like the prequel, the continuing story of Levi and Abby sucked the air out of my lungs and left me breathless. I could not relax with these two. Their sexual connection to each other had my body in a constant state of excitement. But they are so much more together. The bond between them has now been cemented. Abby was first attracted to Levi as she found the alpha bad boy intriguing and wanted to explore the possibilities of being with a dominant powerful man. As she got to know the man behind the growl, she discovered another side to him. I love Abby’s strength and feistiness. She did not have a loving upbringing, only a father that saw her as a pawn to be used to further his career.
Levi and Abby together are a force to be reckoned with when they face common enemies together. Levi has to face many obstacles, the most difficult ones being the emotional ones. The love he has for his brothers is undeniable, but the feelings he is developing for Abby are unchartered territory and out of his comfort zone.
The suspense and action in this book is heart stopping and I cannot wait to see what happens next with this couple.
This book picks up from the prequel. Levi is an assassin who loves no one but the street brothers he has raised. The plan is to get revenge on Abigail’s father by using her to get to him. Abby is caught between the two powerful men and is in a losing situation. Can Levi do what needs to be done or will he end up protecting Abby? A good read, looking forward to reading the next book.
Assassin’s Mark picks up where The Assassin leaves off. Abby is kidnapped by Levi for revenge against Abby’s father, the next Governor of Georgia. Things don’t always goes as planned and falling for Abby was certainly not in the plan. As with the prequel, Assassin’s Mark is fast paced with steamy scenes.
Review copy was received for a honest opinion.
Levi and Abby are a terrific couple, finding love despite the complications.
Told entirely from Abby’s POV, we’re spared any confusion about why and how she falls for Levi despite the fact that he’s using her to exact his revenge on her father. This is a dark and dirty romance where bad things happen but there’s never any doubt about who’s who in the battle between good and evil.
It’s an amazing book that can make a true, solid hero out of such a flawed criminal like Levi, but this story more than delivers. Levi and his brothers are committed to playing the hand they’ve been dealt yet their commitment to each other adds new depth to the concept of family values. It’s an exciting, edge-of-your-seat adventure, and I can’t wait to read more about the Agozi family. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I was pumped to dive into Assassin’s Mark after finishing the prequel of this series. But I don’t exactly know how I feel about this one. Yes, it had the drama and danger and intensity as the first book but I found myself wanting more.
I liked the different sides of Levi that I got to witness. The protector. The worrier. The marksman. The lover. The brother. It was really the slower, quieter moments between him and Abby that showed how complex of a man he was. He was more than his job. More than he saw himself as. Luckily Abby saw it and was going to set about to prove it to him. Whether he liked it or not.
I had a few issues with Abby. Yes, she had lived a sheltered life, but her thought process and actions at times (more than a handful) were quite juvenile. However, I liked how much she grew from the start of this one to the end. Her eyes were opened to the reality of what she was to her father, her only family. And the stand she took to try and set things straight showed a boldness that she didn’t even know she possessed.
With danger and steam and family and scheming, Assassin’s Mark was pretty addictive. Ella Sheridan is onto the start of something good with this series, I just think it needs a little more polishing up. And while Levi and Abby’s story will be continuing (though this isn’t a cliffy), I still wanted a little more from the ending. That being said, I am looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the Agozi brothers.
