His family and friends referred to him as a “rounder” because when it came to the ladies, Jayce (rhymes with Chase) Weathers, definitely gets around. He’s the hot bad boy who knows how to give a woman a night of wild pleasure, some laughs and leaves them wanting more and chasing after him.Not that they’re likely to catch him. Jayce isn’t opposed to settling down, he just hasn’t met the right … right woman — if she even exists. He’s starting to wonder.
And then Billy Sweet shows up at the Honky Tonk Angels bar where Jayce is finishing the remodel on the top floor, and he has with him a woman and her two year old daughter. Callie and Lily Williams. Callie brings out something in Jayce. Something besides passion and lust. He wants to be her hero.
When Callie’s car ran out of gas just outside of Cotton Creek, she never expected to be rescued. Or to be offered a job and a place for her and Lily to stay. And she sure didn’t except to meet a man that made her dream of things she couldn’t have – love everylasting, a family and a home. But Jayce Weathers makes her dream of those thigns and a whole lot more.
They might both be dreaming the same thing. The problem is, there’s someone who doesn’t want that dream to come true for Callie, someone who just might be willing to do anything to make sure her dreams don’t come true.
Yep, things are heating up again in Cotton Creek.

Ask Me to Stay is the fourth book in the Honky Tonk Angels Series. This is a small town story, and a single Mom story. Callie and Jayce’s story is sweet and beautiful, filled with secrets and suspense. Callie is strong, beautiful, caring, protective and loving. Jayce is handsome, caring, and protective. They share a strong chemistry. Lilly is a cute little girl. The secondary characters are great and they have an important part in this story. The Cotton Creak’s gossipers are hilarious! I love the ending. J. Scott Bennett did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to listen to the other books in the Series.
Small Town Support
I liked this book because you get that small town feel. A woman and her small daughter, alone in the world, looking for a place to start over.
Callie and Lily find all the support they need in Cotton Creek. They also find Jayce. I love the fact that Jayce not only loved Callie, but embraced Lily with open arms.
This is a feel good read without a lot of angst. Quick, easy, and a good addition to the series.
There isn’t any better place to land when trying to start over after such a tragic past than this. All these characters are so loving and welcoming it just fills my heart to the brim. Joe will always be my favorite character in this series and I am so happy when he finally shows up. This series just keeps getting better every time.
From the get-go you know that Jayce, Callie and Lily are meant to be. This is a truly enjoyable love story that will tug at your heartstrings, especially Lily, who is so adorable. When Callie’s past threatens her and Lily’s present, an unexpected hero comes to her rescue, and that’s just one of a few surprising twists that add an element of excitement to this completely entertaining tale. It makes for a fast-paced story that will capture your heart from the start and easily hold your interest from beginning to end. Another element that adds to the overall enjoyment is getting to know more about some of the other characters’ lives; giving you a peek into what you can only hope is more to come.
For honest review. Callie and her daughter Lily break down just outside cotton creek when Billy sweet finds them and helps her .When she meets jayce weathers and his son this man and town gives her what she need safety and security. Awesome story 10 stars .
Another great story by Ciana Stone. This is about a mother and her daughter trying to start over and get stranded on a lonely road. A sweet older man stops and gives her a hand. When she meets Jayce she thinks she might have a chance at a happily everafter. The only thing I didn’t like was throughout the book were markings in brackets to donote errors I think. That was distracting.
