5 epic stars!
Like all Ashes & Embers fans, I have been desperate for this book. I was so freaking excited to get my hands on it, and oh, holy damn it was worth the wait! The feels! OMG, the feels! Asher’s long-awaited story sucked me in, brought the emotion, and heart my heart pounding from start to finish. I highlighted like crazy, rereading sections over and over again, and devouring every word. It’s an absolutely beautiful book, and a fave for 2020.
This book is the sixth in the Ashes & Embers series, but it could be read as a standalone. Asher’s story has been building since book #1, but he’s been a distant side character in previous books. If anything, you will want to read Torn before you read this book – that’s the story of Asher’s best friend, Toren, and daughter, Kenzi, (forbidden tingles, right!), and it leads into this book beautifully.
Asher is the lead singer of rock band Ashes & Embers, whose life was ripped away from him almost eight years ago when his wife and love of his life, Ember, had a tragic accident. The prologue of this book begins by showing us the incident in horrifying detail, and oh dear Lord, I was tearing up from that alone! Asher and Ember were childhood sweethearts who became soulmates. They fell in mad, crazy, all-consuming love, had their daughter at age 16, married at 18, formed a rock band together and were all set for their happily ever after. They were it for each other, and they didn’t need anything else. But suddenly, Ember was gone. Not gone completely, but suffering a traumatic brain injury which put her in a vegetative state. And for almost eight years, Asher has been living a half-life. Still in the band, still there for his daughter, but his heart and soul lay in a hospital bed with the love of his life that he still visits every day, pining for her and the life they could have had.
“I’ll wait for you,” I whisper to the dark room. “I love you.”
And then, she awakes. But she awakes without any memory of who she is, who Asher is, or their shared life. And she’s mildly terrified of the long-haired, tattooed guy who is constantly by her side and declaring himself to be her loving husband. That doesn’t stop our devoted hero from being there for his love, caring, supporting and encouraging her recovery as she slowly moves back into her old life, trying to find the person that she used to be.
“It’s okay to be confused and scared. But ya know what? Everything is going to get better soon. I’m going to take care of you just like I always have.”
“No.”
I flash her a grin, hoping it’ll win her over like it used to.
“Trust me, you really do like me. I know you don’t know that right now, but you’re crazy about me.”
I’m not going into any more detail than that because you just have to read this book. It’s everything. Seriously, it’s everything that I was hoping for, and the journey that I went on with these two characters was incredible!
“I’m no one.” Her voice is low and haunting. “I’m not a wife or a sister or a mother or a singer. I’m a mindless mannequin who looks like someone else.”
“Some things just feel impossible.”
“Nothing’s impossible if we believe in it and fight for it.”
Asher absolutely stole my heart as the devoted husband waiting for his wife to come back to him. I could feel their connection, I could feel his love for her, and I could feel his desperation to get her back. And I wanted that for him more than anything!
“I don’t want to be alone anymore. I miss you—your love and your touch. And I hate missing you when you’re Right. Fucking. Here. It’s destroying me.”
At the same time, I could feel Ember’s struggle to find herself again. And as she recovers and starts to live a ‘normal’ life, I could feel all that she was going through as she battles with reclaiming her old life, and living her new one, especially as she finds herself falling hopelessly for the tatted up rockstar who wants her so desperately to be somebody she’s not.
“He doesn’t see me.
He hasn’t really seen me since I woke up. When he looks at me, all he sees are ghosts.
I don’t want to be the living dead anymore.
I want to live, love, and be loved…and I want it all with him.”
Asher wants his soulmate back. Ember wants to be loved for who she is. It’s a devastating situation, and Cole writes it beautifully! It’s heartbreaking and soulful, but also incredibly uplifting, swoony and romantic. Ember waking up is only the beginning of this epic story, and they have a lot to go through as they find their way forward – not quite the same as they once were, and struggling to come to terms with that. My heart ached for them both, and though they have ups and downs, the love between them shines through the whole story.
“Just hold me for a little while.”
I hug her tighter. “I’ll hold you forever.”
This is a long book, and I devoured every page, never wanting it to end but desperate to see how their story would play out, and this book kept me up reading until the early hours of the morning, unable to put it down. It was everything that I was hoping for from Asher and Ember’s story, with plenty of Tor and Kenzi involvement, as well as a chance to catch up with the characters from previous books in the series (and a squee-inducing cameo from another of Cole’s much-loved rockstars). The book ends with a beautiful epilogue that provides a whole lot of closure, and I finished it with happy tears in my eyes.
“You fallin’ in love with me again, baby?” he teases, leaning down for a kiss.
“Always,” I whisper.
5 hugely emotional stars!
Wow! Sometimes you read a book and feel it in your bones. This is that kind of book. I don’t want to give anything away because I feel that you should go into this book sort of blind to get the full emotion of the book.
Asher and Ember’s journey is far from easy. Their story is what true love and commitment are all about. Powerful, emotional, wonderful, and heartbreaking.
This will go on my all-time favorites list. Be prepared for a seriously emotional rollercoaster ride. Grab the tissues and dive in deep.
Asher’s story is one of the ones that will always stick with me despite the hundreds of books that I read, it is one of only a handful that I can say that about. Though I schedule my review books so that I read them in order there was no way this was going to happen with Asher, as soon as I got it I started reading and did not put it down until I was finished. It was so intense a story that everything else in the world was just shut out and ignored.
This is one of the most epic love stories ever. If you think that the bad boys of rock that we read about are not that invested in their wives and girlfriends, this story will make you think again. Despite all the odds and all the medical advice Asher always had faith that his wife would awaken from her coma and come back to him, and he waited for eight years for that to happen. One of the most romantic things in the story was that he brought her fresh flowers every single time he visited her which was every day when he was home, and when he was on tour he had them delivered to her every day.
I found it heartbreaking that Ember did not know him when she woke up. Many would be devastated by that but Asher still had faith that his wife would eventually come back to him. The question was would she be the same and would she still love him.
This story was incredible, Carian handled a gut wrenching story with such feeling and compassion that made me feel that I was there in that hospital room with Asher.
This book is in my top 5 for best of the year so far, and it deserves way more than 5 stars. If you don’t read anything else this year, make sure this is on your list, then go back and read the full series. Word of warning make sure you clear your schedule and have tissues nearby because you will sob your heart out in parts.
Everything I was hoping for, but nothing I expected.
When Ember went into a coma 8 years ago, Asher never left her side, never strayed, and tried to be the rock she would need.
When I picked this book up, I didn’t know what to expect. Would Ember ever wake up, would Asher move on, what would happen to their lives.
When Ember woke up, I was elated, they would finally be able to move on.
And then, I was devastated, and could feel it when Asher realized that Ember didn’t know who he was, and had no memories of anything.
Watching Asher try to wake her memories, sometimes succeeding and sometimes failing, was such an emotional journey.
I won’t spoil the ending, or tell you more than I have, but I will let you know that if you’ve been waiting like I have to hear Asher and Ember’s story, do not miss this!
Asher and his wife had built an amazing life together before tragedy struck and Ember was in a coma for 8 long years. Asher never gave up on her return and loved her faithfully. The story begins just before Ember wakes up with amnesia. As with any traumatic brain injury no one knows what she will regain. Asher is the story of Ember and Asher finding their way back to one another.
I have read all of the Ashes and Embers series as well as the All Torn Up series so far. I love Carian Cole’s writing. Her books are so much deeper than just romance. She has characters who have been through hell and back and find their way to happiness. Carian’s books are brutally emotional and will take you from tears to laughter. I fell in love with Asher in previous books but really just got to know Ember in book 6. I will be looking forward to more of these amazing characters in future books.
A swoon-worthy hero and a brave heroine.
Traumatic moments and life-altering events.
Difficult choices, patience, mistakes, and forgiveness.
Acceptance, love, and understanding.
Slow burn.
Moments full of heart-stopping beauty and moments of heartbreaking sadness.
Peaceful moments and moments raging with anger and hurt.
Sweet times, laugh out loud moments, and puzzle pieces falling into place.
Familiar faces and new intrigues.
Epic love.
This is just a portion of what you will find within the pages of Asher. Like all Carian Cole books, I was pulled in by her subtle influence and unaware of the turmoil that brewed inside me until I was well into the story. Completely blind to the passionate emotions stirring as the story progressed. Until I was swooning and crying, laughing, ready to throw my kindle, mad as hell at certain characters, and ready to kick fictional butt at times! And then I realized it was all part of her grand scheme to drag me into this world until I was consumed by the story, experiencing every emotion as if each one were my own.
I fell in love with Asher and Ember through many pages of ups and downs. I fell in love with Asher’s infallible faith, his never-ending hope, and his unwavering love and devotion to Ember. My heart hurt for the pain he experienced and the moments when he was lost and unsure. The beautiful moments though set my heart on fire!
I fell in love with Ember’s brutal honesty, her strength, and endurance. Her innocence and her determination to grab ahold of life once again and savor it. And though I struggled with her execution at times during the story, I loved seeing her growth from beginning to end.
But most of all I fell in love with these characters because they were human. They messed up, made mistakes, tried again, started over, and didn’t give up. I won’t lie. I had moments of confusion where I doubted myself and these characters. I expected more from them. I wanted them to be better for each other! My heart broke for them. I wanted them to have that perfect life again. I was that invested in the story! And it took me a bit to see that first they had to crawl before they could walk. No one starts out perfect. It was all a vital part of their journey.
Asher is a beautiful addition to the Ashes and Embers series. I truly hope you will take this journey and experience it to the fullest just as I did.
Asher has been one of my most anticipated books. Asher and Ember have an epic love story that has been mentioned and hinted about in the previous books in this series. The story can be read as a standalone but the rest of the books in this series are amazing and well worth grabbing and reading also.
“It’s crazy to think I was in a bed in the same room for almost eight years, suspended between life and death, imprisoned in my own body.”
Ember’s journey back from her coma is handled so perfectly with heart and even touches of humor.
“I’m not sure I like him. So much hair and beard and tattoos. I don’t think he even has a job.”
This book is super angsty, at times completely heartbreaking, but so well written and the story told so beautifully that I felt everything!
-5 Stars!-
Asher (Ashes & Embers #6) by Carian Cole is the much anticipated story of Asher the lead singer and brooding brother of the infamous band. This book was well worth the wait. We final learned Asher’s story. 8 years ago while at his special place with his wife a tragedy takes place that leaves Ember in a coma. Now 8 years later his wife Ember has come out of her coma. Asher is elated to have his wife back. There is just one problem. Ember doesn’t remember who she is or her life. This is a story of a man deeply in love with a wife who doesn’t know who he is but is determined to win her over and/or at least hope she gets her memory back. This was a story of struggle, love, determination and persistence. Asher is the ultimate faithful husband who has been true all this time but now that she is awake he is struggling with the loss of her memory. Their struggle to get back what they once had was one that wasn’t easy and definitely not either one expected. I loved Asher to pieces and his struggle was extremely emotional to read. Ember struggled as well with not even recognizing the person in the mirror and the people who loved her most. Given journals Ember had written along with past stories, caused Ember to have conflicting feelings with who she is now with the person she use to be. I love a story that leaves a profound affect on me when I finish it and this story definitely did that for me. Of course seeing that old gang is always a treat since I loved all the previous books. Two new characters were introduced in this story and I am looking forward to their books and what their story is. The ending of this book was fabulous. I could have read more about Asher and Ember. Their story was a real treat. 5 stars for me. Hopefully we will not have to wait as long for the next book. I love this author’s way of telling a story. Kudos. 5 stars for me
First and foremost, this can be read as a standalone, however, for those of us who have been reading Carian Cole for a while, have been waiting for this story for what seems like forever. Though I have read several books in this series and the spin-off, I have not read them all (yet) and was not lost. Okay, now the review. I am at a loss for words. Asher by Carian Cole is a story about true love and everything that comes with it. Love and marriage is not easy by any means, but when you love with all your heart and know you are with your soul mate, anything is possible, right?
Asher and Ember were always meant to be. Best friends, lovers and everything else, they knew they were it for each other. Even with all the craziness of being rock legends, their love was always true. But when tragedy struck, was it all over? Not for Asher. Ember was his life and soul and that was the end of it. Even though now she cannot remember her past, he is ready to be her future. My heart hurt and soared while I read this. It was a beautiful and heartbreaking story and I devoured every second of it. This is truly a must-read!
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
Asher is here , yay! I had high expectations for this long awaited 6. book in the Ashes and Embers Series.
Asher Valentine suffered great loss. But he never lost his faith and the love to his wife, Ember. But miracles do happen. Only what happens when they happen at their own agenda?
Asher is a unique read, unputdownable, a read cover to cover in one sitting book that gave me all the feels. I loved the storyline, I cried my eyes out, I wanted to dnf the book, but I couldn’t stop reading. So, simply I was torn about the book.
Asher starts as a slow burn, but switches to high on drama and fast paced, so fast I had to hold on for the wild ride I was in with this book.
Wow. Like many of you, I have been waiting for what seems like forever for this book and let me tell you, it was worth every single moment of waiting.
This story was filled with heartbreaking fear and sadness, unwavering faith and hope, and so much deep feeling, you can feel it bleeding off the pages. I just loved it and don’t have the words to do it justice.
“I love you twice. Now and forever.”
When Asher and Ember say these words to each other, you can feel the honesty in them. These two will make you believe in destiny. They will make you believe in the power of true love. They will make you believe in forever.
***** 5 totally worth the wait stars*****
We knew Asher was an good man, but boy did Carian write an exceptional man. I could use words like patient, loving, kind, understanding, and devoted, and but my words do not even scratch the surface of the depth his character portrayed. For 8 years their love story hung in a state of stasis – teetering on a ledge of hopeless limbo and profound, unwavering faith that she would come back to him.
She did.
But she didn’t.
But then she did …
This story takes you through the aftermath of a tragedy that took away a wife and a mother, sister, and friend. When Ember awoke, she tried to put the puzzle of their lives back together, but a couple of pieces were gone… Cracks were formed as he chased a ghost while she ran from her. She found herself looking in the mirror of someone else’s life… and then realized that to truly find herself again, she needed to accept and embrace the person she had become, not who she was, but who she is now. Would Asher accept the new Ember?
He did, for course, but boy did he fail miserably when faced (literally) with the new Em. That moment when he finally cracked, or explodes, was this piercing heartache you could feel through the lines on the page. It was also the first time I was like “Finally, he’s real!” No man can be that perfect… But underlying it all… Was still the perfectly composed Asher of unrequited love… And until finally… those pieces fell back into place.
Like all Carian’s books, she sucked me in and captivated me from the first chapter. Her artistry of words is superb. Her characters have depth, humility, and grace (well maybe not Mickha lol). I loved all the cameos but wish there were more. Would have loved to see more Gram (who wouldn’t) but also expected Aria to be more involved as the motherly figure Ember had lost.
Won’t ruin other surprise guests that poked their head into the story … But I now have a million questions about our creepy bench dude – and creepy is a all I can come up with. His words actually made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and shivers run down my spine. In fact, I was more surprised that Asher blew up as he did over her change in her appearance more so than creepy dude’s involvement in that change. That’s when I expected Asher to explode.
This is a story that tested time, and won. Their love story is epic. Asher, of all the brothers, has a sweet spot in my heart. The oreo cookie couldn’t have been more yummy.
Regardless, don’t want to say more cause I don’t want to ruin it for anyone… But creepy bench dude was so very creepy. Im intrigued by his story, but still, the shivers running down my spine.
Like many, we have been waiting with baited breath for the 6th book in the Ashes & Embers series, and this book exceeded all expectations! Asher and Ember led a storied life having gotten together and having a baby at age 15, finding success in their music careers and staying hopelessly devoted to each other until one fateful day when an unfortunate accident sent Ember into a coma for eight years. During this time, Asher has clung on to the hope that she would wake up and life could resume as they never lost this time together. Unfortunately, Ember had no recollection of her previous life, and the journey to regain some memories and learn about her life is one full of heartache for herself and those who love her. Asher refuses to give up on Ember, and their journey is emotional one as they try to resurrect their past life. Carian did an amazing job in portraying Ember’s feelings and confusion in trying to reconcile her past life and her new life with new memories. Their journey to a happily ever after was not an easy one but Asher’s devotion and love for his wife as he never gave up on her won out in the end. I highly recommend you read Torn before this so that you are familiar with Kenzie and Tor and the backstory.
No one quite knows how to break my heart and then lovingly rejuvenated it like Carian Cole- she somehow puts the pieces back together again with such tender care, such beauty, that I feel like my heart is just learning to beat for the first time. Like I can see the world with more hopeful, more open eyes. Like I understand true love and devotion in an entirely new way- one that heals my own fractures and pain, just as it does her characters.
Fans have been awaiting Asher- we’ve grown to love him in other stories and got to see in Torn just how painful and heartbreaking this story would be. All I can say is that Asher and Ember are more than worth the wait. Their story is haunting, bittersweet, and heart shattering at times, but it is also beautiful, hopefully, and deeply moving. I had to force myself to slow down my reading so many times just to revel in the beauty of this story telling, to let me heart FEEL all that Carian inspires me to feel.
Asher and Ember had a perfect love story- jump started when they were so young. They never fought, loved fiercely- were the couple others dreamed to be, in perfect sync. Perfect soulmates. So what happens when that perfect love is ripped to shreds by tragedy, when your love story has to start over again? What happens when your soulmate is no longer the same person, doesn’t even remember your love? Are you still soulmates? Can love rebuild without the rich, soulful history of its creation? And what if you don’t even know who you are? What if the man you think you love is in love with another woman- the version of yourself that you no longer are, that you can’t even remember, that you no longer want to be? And when you try to find that love, whose love is it really- yours or the ghost of yourself? Can you love twice, when you aren’t the same people who feel in love with each other first?
I tear up just writing this now. This is such an emotional journey. Falling in love was easy. In fact, falling BACK in love was easy, too. What isn’t was Asher and Ember dealing with the complexities of doing so, reconciling their own identities when the foundational love that was the core of them is no longer there, and will never exist as it originally did. Carian writes her characters with such care and tenderness- they are dynamic, complex, and nuanced. Their alternating POV gives us such a tender and intimate insight into their hearts and souls. Both characters perpetually exist at the nexus of hope and despair in this story. I empathize and hurt with them, celebrated and rejoiced- their emotions so palpable I felt them deep within my chest. Their experiences are so artfully constructed, I was moved to tears more than once.
Even unbreakable love requires work, requires patience and intentional care. These two soulmates would never give up on the hope they had for their love- nor could they deny the deep, life altering way true love takes root within you, even if it isn’t easy, understandable, or carefree…or in this case, even familiar. Love isn’t a feeling- it is an act. And it doesn’t have to be perfect- it just has to breathe. What a beautiful journey this book takes us as we follow two incredible people fighting for love after everything came crashing down. This is now tied with Torn/Tied as my all time favorite, and the best in the series. I’m STILL emotional!
A truly captivating and mesmerising book. I could not prevent myself from crying while reading this book. I could feel the pure love between Asher and Ember. Their love will last for forever.
At one point of the book, the situations felt so sureal. I could feel Asher’s pain and linging for his Ember. Asher is everything a girl could ever ask in a man
Asher is undoubtedly one of my most anticipated reads for 2020 and it did not disappoint. In fact, I could not have imagined how this story would evolve and it took the wizardry of Carian Cole to show this tale. The imagery she uses is astounding ( I have so many highlights) and everything made sense. But it is a tale of heartbreak and I only put the book down to allow myself a few breathes. It’s a story about transformation, about recovery, and history and knowing where to put it.
Carian Cole perfectly captures the heartbreak of Embers’ coma, her recovery, and the ensuing confusion that wrecks this beautiful couple. Ember is learning everything again, how to eat, how to walk, and while her body begins to regain strength, her mind is slower to respond, and her heart is somewhere in between. Ashers’ love for Ember is legendary. He’s such a romantic man, truly devoted to her, to them. He finds getting his wife back is not what he thought. Memories are tricky things and he has some expectations that may not be met.
I loved how this played out, even as heartbreaking as some moments were. Their connection is deep and the phrase two hearts beat as one comes to mind. There are such times of joy, set-backs and joy again. For every step forward, there’s a chance they might not make it. But I loved the evolution of this couple, how they learn to embrace the future while allowing the past to serve as a guide.
If you haven’t already read any of the Ashes and Embers series, you could read this as a standalone (by why would you miss this wonderful series?) and I highly recommend readers take in Torn first, to get a good idea of the family dynamics at play. I’m so happy with how this story turned out and it is definitely one of my #mustread recommendations for 2020! 5+++ Stars!
Carian Cole took me to a heartbreaking and exceptionally emotional journey of true love on Asher. She showed and explored that kind of epic and soul shattering love that exists in our dreams and legends.
Asher and Ember have been linked and intertwined since the time when most people don’t even know the meaning of love. They made a life of happiness and bliss. They are popular and genius music stars and they have a beautiful family. Their story comes to a screeching halt when Ember goes into coma after an accident. And Asher stayed by her side moving heaven and hell to make her come back. And she did after eight years. Only the old Ember is lost. She doesn’t remember anything or anyone. How will Asher fight this losing battle?
My heart cracked open and bled for Asher. The author has some extraordinary brilliance while it comes to bring out most painful, raw and soul deep emotions. I could feel the desperation, the frustration, the depression, the agony and the agitation of Asher’s heart trapped in a nightmare. My heart broke for Ember who lost everything and had to start a new life that will never be the same. But true love is a powerful weapon. And so they will get that back in a different and probably better version. The author took me through the emotional hell when Asher and Ember struggled like crazy and one time, I just wanted to give up. But the angsty and mind numbing intense story does come with an epic ending. This story was about believing in love in darkest days of life.
Asher by Carian Cole was an emotional tornado but it left me whole rather than destroyed. Standing ovation for the author’s incredible writing.
Received ARC for honest review
Asher is the sixth book in the Embers & Ashes series by Carian Cole. Each book can be read as standalone. It is recommended to read Torn (All Torn Up series) but not necessary. I didn’t read it and still completely fell in love with Asher and Ember’s story.
They found love at fifteen. They were married at eighteen. At twenty-nine tragedy stuck. Almost eight years later they had to find a way to fall in love again.
Asher and Ember’s love story is an epic one. The moment they met at fifteen they knew they found their everything. They became parents, rock stars, and grew even more in love over the years. They were excited about their future one minute and the next it was taken away. Ember was in a coma for close to eight years. It was a miracle that she woke up but she woke up in someone else’s life. She was told her name was Ember and she was married to Asher. A stranger in her eyes. A man with wild hair, tattoos, and eyes with so many emotions running through them. She was so confused. They were told to take it one day at a time. That she needed to heal. That her memories may or may not come back. One thing was for certain…Asher was not going to leave her side even if she didn’t know him.
Asher’s love for Ember was never-ending. He never gave up on her. He knew she would come back to him. Back to their daughter who was now her own woman. He was so happy that she woke up. It’s not the same Ember he lost eight years ago but he loves her just the same. He wants their life back. He wants her back. He wants her to love him back. He was so confused since it felt like he was cheating on his wife. This Ember was different but he still felt that she was his everything. That never stopped.
Ember has to find herself again. Asher has to let her. It’s definitely not an easy ride. I felt so much for both of them. They are both going through something they never expected. It would be so easy to just give up but that’s not them. Can they fall in love all over again? Will Ember ever remember their life because her accident?
Overall…I will say it again…they have an epic love story. It’s full of heartbreak, passion, love, loss, laughter, and family. The writing is fantastic. The story is emotional. The characters are poetic. It’s a love story I will never forget. It definitely makes me want to read a few more books in the series since I read a few already.
Quotes:
“I love you twice. Now and forever,” I whisper.
“You’re very thoughtful. And…bizarre,” she says.
“How so?”
“Because you’re sitting there with all that long hair, tattoos everywhere, that deep voice, and you’re talking about lavender and frothing milk.”
I grin and shrug. “I’m like an Oreo cookie. Hard on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside.”
“Em?”
I shake my head. “Sorry…I was distracted by the face of death in the middle of your body.” And that chiseled six-pack it lives on.
So worth the wait!
Asher is the heart-wrenching story of love lost and found again between Asher and Ember Valentine. Ms. Cole packs every single feeling into this book! And I do mean every single one. My emotions were taken on the most epic roller coaster ride ever! I felt that I was right there with Asher and Ember, crying when they cried, laughing when they laughed, and cheering them on from the sidelines when they were both having a bad day. To have a love like Asher and Ember – it’s just magical.
The road to a HEA is never paved and these two have a long road ahead of them. Your heart will be ripped out, but slowly put back together. Asher is a must read!!
It’s here! YAY! I feel like I have been waiting on Asher forever! It was completely worth the wait! Asher and Ember’s story was so much more than I could have hoped for! I am so sad I am finished with this book – this is one of those I wish I could read for the first time all over again! FIVE STARS!!
