★ A TOP 35 AMAZON BEST SELLER! ★I should have died.I should have been forgotten. But I didn’t, and I wasn’t.Living the life most women only dream about, I was madly in love with my soulmate–Asher Valentine–amazing husband, loving father, and rock’s favorite frontman. A man who loved me every day, in every way, since we first met as teens. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter who was the … teens. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter who was the light of our life. My all-female rock band was tearing up the charts.
Then tragedy struck, and I lost it all.
Now, after waking from an eight-year coma, all I have is a stack of journals, an antique key, and a big black void where my memories should be.
Used to be.
And I have him–this man with wild hair, tattoos from head to toe, a soft voice, and an even softer touch that gives me butterflies. He’s clearly hopelessly in love with his wife.
I’m told that’s me.
But that wife is gone, and she took everything they once had, leaving me in her place.
A broken replacement. A new version that doesn’t quite fit.
I’m slowly falling in love with him, but will he ever truly love me? Or will he forever be in love with her, the phantom woman who haunts us both?

The author has written a note to the reader. It will only take a moment of your time. Please do not skip over it in order to rush right to the story.
Asher Valentine is in a peaceful place but doesn’t feel at peace. The personal life of a celebrity couple is something that we rarely get to see. We see what they’re willing to share with their fans. Personal pain is rarely seen and family usually stays in the background.
Dreams may be a hope for the future. It could involve a crush or a loved one. Some may think they’re powerful enough to feel real. Dreams can also affect our emotions. At times emotions run so high here that tissues may become a necessity – you can always say that something was in your eye. They can also be frustrating.
The author does a great job of keeping things moving so that the scenes won’t feel as if they’re standing still. Telling this story in the first person was a smart idea. The reader will know what the main characters are feeling and thinking. In a small way I can relate to Ember. For about the last six months part of my mind has been locked away. And I have to thank the author for changing that. I think that I was meant to read about Ember in order to open that part of my mind that went to sleep for a little while. Depending on your situation you may feel the same way.
For some it might be a painting. For others it might be a movie. And then there are those where words help to create something magical. And that magic found its way to me. It’s a story that will get you to think about things. It’s a story that at the very least will touch your heart. It will grab it and not let go until you find the peace that comes at the very end – and don’t be surprised if you end up with a smile on your face.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! Just when I thought I had hit the peak of all the feels Asher would give me a new surge of emotions overcame me leaving me teetering on the edge of my seat with my heart racing.
All the amazing men in this series have been fierce, loyal, loving and committed to those they loved so I expected nothing less from Asher. His devotion and dedication to Ember was the kind everyone should be so lucky to experience in their lifetime. Through all her struggles and doubts Ember earned a special place in my heart. I couldn’t help but imagine myself in her shoes and watching her reclaim her life was beautifully inspiring.
Asher and Ember’s story was more than worth the wait. Through the ups and downs and good times and bad times Asher and Ember carried me along with them on their raw, beautiful, difficult, and unforgettable journey. Their once-in- a- lifetime love showed just what the vows “for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish” truly meant.
5 EXPLOSIVE Stars
I have been excitedly waiting for Asher and Ember’s book, those little nuggets of information that were dropped throughout the first 5 books in this series upped my level of excitement about this book and it was absolutely worth the wait.
Tragedy, which ended up being a too close to some real-life events so close in fact that I had to stop reading. I was heartbroken since I had been looking forward to this book after dwelling on it for a few days I talked with the author and I found that if I skipped a few chapters that I would be ok, and I was.
I started at Chapter 7 and was immediately sucked into this world that I already loved with characters I was very curious about. I adored Asher, he’s beyond swoon worthy, he was so sweet all the while he was happy and still so incredibly broken. My heart hurt for Ember, over and over. She had so much to deal with from every aspect and it was utterly heartbreaking all while finding herself and falling in love again.
Their names fit so beautifully because the chemistry between Asher and Ember set my world on fire.
