Asher: Hawk Valley Mountain MenAlpha Male Mountain Man Curvy Woman Instalove Steamy RomanceAsherHigh in the mountains of Hawk Valley, I find my peace. After my ex-fiancee left me two years ago because the simple life wasn’t for her, I swore of city girls and focused on what matters—my hardware store in town, my cabin in the mountains, and healing my broken heart in the clean air and the still, … heart in the clean air and the still, starry nights.
When a blizzard is forecasted to hit our small town, it’s time to bunker down and weather the storm.
The last thing I expected was to find a curvy, gorgeous woman in serious need of help. A woman I’m immediately attracted to…and who, it turns out, is every bit the city girl I swore to myself I’d never fall for again.
Stephanie
When my best friend suggests a weekend away in the nearby Hawk Valley mountains at her parents’ cabin, I’m stoked. Being an elementary school teacher is hard work, and on top of that, I’ve been doing everything I can to take advantage of new experiences—something my controlling ex-boyfriend never let me do.
But work and an impending blizzard prevent her from joining me. Since I’m halfway there, she tells me to enjoy the cabin on my own. I’m determined to make it there anyway. Things are manageable until I hit a tree.
And then, emerging from the snowy shadows, I see him…
The sexiest mountain man I’ve never laid eyes on.
ASHER: Hawk Valley Mountain Men is an insta-love, happily-ever-after, STEAMY romance. No cliffhangers, no cheating. This is a standalone story part of the HAWK VALLEY MOUNTAIN MEN series.

I really enjoyed reading this book about Asher and Stephanie. It was a sweet romance, not too hot or steamy, but more loving and sweet. Both had been hurt in the past by people who claimed to love them and they were willing to take a chance on love again. It was a beautiful story.
It was also worth a good chuckle when she thought he was a serial killer in the beginning. A recommended read.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Once I started I could not stop. Stephanie is driving to Hawk Valley mountains to stay at a cabin that her girlfriend parents own. The blizzard was making it hard to control the car she ends up hitting a tree. Stephanie walks around to find help and stumbles on a cabin. Asher opens the door and could not believe how someone could knock on his door with a blizzard hitting them, Asher brings Stephanie in out of the cold. It became hot and steamy with lust.

I loved this story. The characters were well developed and had their own backstories to explain their views on the world around them.
Asher lives in a cabin in the mountains with his dog Sadie and runs the hardware store in town. It’s been two years since his ex-fiancee moved back to the city, two years for Asher to heal his broken heart and swear off city girls. When a blizzard hits, he heads home to wait out the story but on the way he finds a woman that needs help. She’s curvy, gorgeous and he is attracted to her immediately, but she’s another city girl!
Stephanie is on her way by herself, to her friend’s cabin for the weekend which is a new experience. She is an elementary school teacher and although her relationship ended six months ago, she figures that a weekend away can’t hurt. Stephanie is determined to make it to the cabin, but the weather and the road conditions have other plans that involve a tree.
Really loved the freak out. (You will have to read the book, if you want to know!) Loved how they talked to each other and how they let the way they felt just be, instead of trying to overthink it. Loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book. It made me thoroughly happy and it will make you happy too!

Sometimes a City Girl is the perfect match for a Mountain Man
Asher is the first book in the new Hawk Valley Mountain Men series by Mazzy King. I adored this short, steamy, hot, sexy, sexy and more sexy novella. It pulled me in from the first page and I did not stop until the last………….when I was still wanting more!!!
Asher Hillsong moved from the big city to the small community of Hawk Valley a couple of years ago when his grandfather passed and left Asher his hardware story and mountain cabin. Asher had happy memories of Hawk Valley from when he would spend the summer there with his grandfather. So he decided to put away his suits and high paying job and take over the running of the store. Of course not everything went according to plan as his fiance at the time left him for another man that it turned out she had been seeing for the last year. She moved back to the big city and since then Asher does not like the big city and vowed no more big city girls in his life.
Stephanie Ramirez is an beautiful, smart and curvy elementary teacher, fifth grade literature to be exact. Her boyfriend of a couple years left her six months ago and quickly became engaged to someone else more perfect. You know the skinny, blonde with big boobs type. He was a ass that always criticized her, made her dependent on him and was very controlling.
Stephanie has come to Hawk Valley for what was supposed to be a girls weekend with her best friend Lisa at Lisa’s parents mountain cabin. The only problem is that Lisa cancelled when her son became sick but she told Stephanie to go without her and still have a good weekend away. She became lost after following her phones GPS going up the mountain but then when the snowstorm hit, with blizzard like conditions, she hit some ice and the next thing she knew her SUV was giving a tree a very nice and hard kiss.
Asher has closed up his store a bit early and headed up the mountain to his cabin when his dog Sadie starts barking and Ashe spots a car that has gone off the road. He finds the female driver unconscious and breaks a window to get her out when he sees she has a cut on her head. He decides to take her to his cabin to fix her up instead of trying to drive back down the mountain.
What ensues when Stephanie awakes on Asher’s couch made me laugh so hard I was almost falling off my own couch. But thus starts their “who is a murderer” banter with Sadie’s tongue also getting into the mix.
I really enjoyed reading the story of Asher and Stephanie, and let’s not forget Sadie also. The story is well written, has a great story-line, wonderful characters, witty banter, emotion and a lot of hot and fogging of windows steam. Asher is a definite must read as I think the whole series will be!!!
Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!

This is the second book in the Wylder Bluffs Mountain Men series. This is Ariel and Asher’s story. Ari has returned to the scene of her heartbreak, the wedding that never happened, to be with her twin sister Elsa when she delivered her baby. It has been nearly two weeks, no baby and she is going crazy. With Elsa’s encouragement she leaves, one night out and she is determined to prove she has moved on. Then she meets Asher, he is photographing a wedding reception. They are instantly attracted to each other. As the pieces quickly fall and lock into place, looks like Ariel is not returning to Dallas, Texas any time soon or on her own. A.great short story sure to warm your heart and other bits as Ari and Asher become one. Enjoy!

Book one in the Hawk Valley Mountain Men series a short well written story, I want to read the next book. Mountain man Asher Hillsong and elementary school teacher Stephanie Ramirez’s story. They meet when there is a snowstorm coming and Asher is on his way home and his dog Sadie alerts him to Stephanie’s car being wrapped around a tree. Asher takes her to his cabin as she is bleeding. Both of them have had bad experiences with ex’s and they have a lot of things to let go of before they can be together. I want to read the next book in this series. I really enjoyed this story, it flowed nicely and the characters are so lovable. Stephanie and Asher were hurt badly in past relationships, both scared to risk their hearts again. I liked seeing how Asher got over his issues and went after the woman he had fallen for. This is a completely safe read with an alpha male that is so kind and compassionate and a sassy and loving woman. Their happily ever after had me smiling as well.

Stephanie is going to go to her friends cabin for the weekend for some rest and relaxation. She is driving in the mountains, to the cabin, in a terrible snowstorm. She ends up hitting black ice and sliding into a tree. Asher has lived in the mountains for years running his grandfathers hardware store and living in his grandparents cabin. He and his dog Sadie are on their way home when they find Stephanie and the crash site. Asher and Stephanie have both been hurt by other people who professed to love them but things didn’t work out. They have one night together and are both conflicted on where their relationship should go. I’ll leave you read the story to find out how this story ends. Will they got over their fear and find the love they both are searching for? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Stephanie is headed to a friend’s mountain cabin for some alone time, when she crashes in a snow storm. Asher owns the hardware store in town, and closes up early because of the impending storm. On his way home, he finds Stephanie, and takes her to his house. They spend a great evening together, talking about anything and everything, and getting to know each other, but quickly realize that this is only for one night. They’ve both had their hearts broken, and are leery of jumping into something with someone who leads such a different life. Can this city girl and mountain man figure out how to make a relationship work? This is another cute book in this series. I love that Stephanie and Asher are so comfortable with each other, and could have honest conversations. I think that Sadie the dog is just adorable, and her people judgments are a good guide for Asher.

Short New Chance romance
3.5
Good romance well written, although a little simple, on two people who have been betrayed by their ex and who after an unexpected meeting spend the night together.
Stephanie has a car accident in the snow and is saved by Asher. After her first fear, she finds herself attracted by the charm of this mountain man who quickly confides to her. Their solitude and their attraction bring them together, but their pasts also separate them.
