This was a really enjoyable series. It kept you guessing how the Author would let Daiya & Kai fulfill the ‘test’ part of the prophecy right til the last!!
Kai didn’t always show the best of himself as his jealousy & anger came through in parts of this book. It was his ‘Hunter’ blood switching on causing these issues!! I thought hormones & temper tantrums may also have played a part
On the flip side Daiya always blamed herself for everything & also became quite self sacrificing. Her traits we’re viewed as ‘pure’ & ‘honorable’. I personally felt like shaking her a few times as I thought she was showing quite a bit of immaturity & selfishness!!
The edge of your seat drama & the danger levels spike in this final book. It really is exciting reading!! I stayed up til 3am to finish the book All the characters from the previous books return & some new ones are introduced. A really satisfying Epilogue helped smooth out any unresolved questions about what had happened
A definite recommendation from me. It probably is more suited to YA/NA readers but I’m in my late 40’s & thoroughly enjoyed most of it

Ascension is the final book in Grace White’s Lilituria Prophecy trilogy, and boy did this series end with a bang!
Ascension picks up right where book two leaves off, so please do not try to read as a standalone, as you will be lost and missing out on a great series! These books have been one of the most unique paranormal romance series I have encountered in a long time.
In an attempt to fulfill the prophecy, Kai and Daiya have bonded as they fall deeper in love with one another. Trying to keep everyone safe, however until they can figure out their next steps in avoiding the Dei Venatores hunting them, they decide to separate to lessen the threats to those they love. What ensues is a fast paced and adventurous journey as the couple must fight for their survival as they make hard choices to protect those they love, including each other.
When faced with life and death choices, even when the lines of good and evil start to blur, will their love be enough to save them?
Grace White did an amazing job of keeping this book high energy and very suspenseful as well as thought provoking as the characters learn more about the prophecy and struggle with the decisions facing them. Daiya and Kai’s romance is also prevalent throughout as they attempt to fight everything trying to keep them apart.
Daiya and Kai are extremely strong lead characters, but the ancillary characters in in this book, such as Daiya’s sisters and Kai’s family as well as the Dei Venatores are well written and become crucial to the story.
I cannot say enough about how much I have enjoyed this entire series. Ascension was an extremely fulfilling ending to the series, and while I want more because it is just that good, I felt really satisfied with the journey Grace White took me on as a reader.
If you enjoy PNR, do yourself a favor and snap up this series today. It’s fun. It’s unique. It’s fast paced. It’s completely binge-worthy! As a reader, it’s everything I could want in a series. 5 stars!
