Faith Jones is an Earth girl…and she’s not. She’s half Aleran. And not just any half – a royal half. Her mother is the queen, her sister is the heir, and her twin is determined to kill every alien on the planet if that’s what it takes to find their kidnapped mother.Faith’s job is to hide her identity and infiltrate the Jax family household to discover who betrayed them and ordered a hit on their … ordered a hit on their lives. Faith thinks she’s got it all under control, until she meets Lord Jax’s oldest son, Thordin. He’s sexy. He’s hot as hell. And the first time he sees her, he tells her the one thing she absolutely does not want to hear…Mine!
Her head says no, but her body? Well, that wanton traitor seems to have a mind of its own.

We finally get to Faith and Thor’s story. I love Faith and we met Thor in the last book. Both have their own problems and really don’t want anything to do with each other. But we all know that when you meet your mate that doesn’t have anything to do with what you want anymore.
Faith knows someone in Thor’s family might be a spy and while she is trying to prove it she gets caught red-handed. So now everyone thinks she is the bad person. Thor is also in suspicion from the ball. Will these two be able to help each other out and get over their mating ritual at the same time?
So far I am enjoying Faith’s story greatly. I went down a star due to how short it was. I was just getting into it when it was over again.
Grace Goodwin delivers as always! Lots of steamy action, great heroine and hero.

I was granted an ARC of Grace Goodwin’s “Ascension Saga: 4 (Interstellar Brides®: Ascension Saga)” via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
Three princesses on a journey to find their mother the Queen and who ever kidnapped her. If you’ve read the first three books in this saga you know Trinity’s story and now we get to read about Faith. Faith is undercover trying to get information about where her mother is and who kidnapped her when she meets Thor. I like the way Thor knew right away that Faith was his mate. I really enjoy reading the Ascension Saga’s and I look forward to reading the rest of the Saga.
This is bk 4 of the series we get to see Faith embark on her journey to discover who portrayed her family and find her kidnapped mother. This book was super easy to read and story plot kept my attention. Thordin and faith have excellent chemistry together. I can’t wait to continue reading the next book in the series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
And just when you thought Trinity and Leo’s story was enough, we finally get to see what shenanigans Faith has been up to! We haven’t seen Faith since she entered the citadel . . .
And, whoa, has she been busy. She’s infiltrated the Jax family household, trying to figure out who betrayed them and set them up to be killed when they arrived on Alera. What she didn’t count on was her ardor to suddenly come on so strong nor did she count on Thor to be her mate!
I’m loving the relationship between Thor and Faith. And that there’s a primal pull versus a “status” that’s put them together. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
This is the start of Thordin Jax and Faith Jones’s story there is suspense, danger, drama, romance, with these two finding out they are mates. But it is not going to go smoothly for them there is a traitor in the Jax household. I can not wait until I read the next book this series just gets more interesting with each story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ascension Saga, Book 4 is the first book in Faith’s trilogy. Faith is undercover within the Jax household, trying to find any information about the traitor giving away secrets. But trained, she’s not, so she gets caught while searching Lady Jax’s rooms. Now labeled as the traitor, Faith is concerned about what her immediate future might hold, but things quickly get even more complicated. What is Faith going to do and how will she calm her Ardor?
Ohhhh this was such a great beginning to Faith’s journey! I absolutely cannot wait to keep reading about Faith and Thor! I love that Faith is proving to be trustworthy and brave, especially within the home of her potential enemies. I love that we get to see some of how mated couples respond to danger, in all different ages and lengths of their relationship. I love that we are already getting a glimpse of what Faith’s special gifts are, too – and how at odds it could be with her sweet personality! I don’t want to give much away, especially in regards to what happens to her and Thor, but I’m super curious about what all is going on and seriously, what a way to end this book! This is a great series full of mystery and romance and finding your destiny!
great read but cliffhanger
This is the fourth book in the Ascension Saga.It is Thor and Faiths story. It is another great read but, it ends on a cliffhanger.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ascension Saga: 4 is the start of Volume 2 in the Ascension Saga. It begins the story of Trinity’s younger sister, Faith. Each of the sisters in the Saga – Trinity, Faith and Destiny are strong women with distinct strengths that have helped them throughout their lives. Their mother, the Queen has always been aware that they live in danger from enemies to her throne and has prepared them to defend themselves. So, in this book, we find that Faith has infiltrated a home of a wealthy, high ranking person, Lord Jax to try and find information about where her mother is being held. Oh, my! It is in the home of Lord Jax that Faith meets his son, Thordin Jax and the electricity between them is breathtaking and the chemistry heats up the story with amazing sexual tension and HOT scenes! The Saga gets better and better. Thank you, Grace Goodwin!
I knew before I started reading this book that it would end with more questions and a cliffhanger… and it did so be aware If you don’t like cliffhanger you might want to wait a bit and read the complete series together.
The story is sexy, fun and the characters are amazing! It’s written in a way that
new reader could probably understand the story without reading the first three book, yet it’s not repetitive for the one who did.
The Fantastic Saga Continues!
The saga continues with Faith and Thor’s story. Faith is undercover in the Jax household to help find the traders. When Thor sees Faith he knows she is his mate! The saga just keeps getting better and better! They keep looking for the Queen and her captors! I can’t wait for Book 5!
This is book four of this sci-fi/fantasy/romance series. This book kicks off the arc that features Faith and Thordin’s story. The overall plot of the series continues with danger, drama and tense political intrigue. I really liked Faith and Thor. Their chemistry was very hot and the attraction raw. Does end on a cliffhanger in preparation of book #5.
Grace Goodwin’s Ascension Saga is a serialized story in the Interstellar Brides’ Program and I’m having a great time with the stories. Story 4 picks up with the Queen being transferred somewhere unknown, giving us more insight into what’s going on, and then we jump to Faith’s story, which I’ve been waiting for.
Likes: While I enjoyed Trinity’s story, I liked seeing the dichotomy in terms of how Faith is faring in the Jax household and I liked the elder lord. Granted, the younger is all sorts of Captain America yummy. Of course, in all good story fashion, things don’t go as planned and I loved seeing this side of Faith, who might well be showing her twin up in terms of earth girls are bad a$$es.
This is the start of Faiths story and her Ardor has arrived and oh boy Thor has claimed her but its not going to be easy and is intense as they are still looking for the traitor and there are a lot of questions. Im excited to see where this is going to go and can they stay mated.
Now this is the begging of Faith’s and Jax’s story and really liked the start of this book and can’t wait to read more from this couple.
I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and volunteerly decided to review this wonderful book
AMAZING world building, erotic, and Sci-fi ROMANCE at its BEST! A MUST-BUY!
The way that Grace Goodwin writes her superbly descriptive and sensuous prose had this reader/reviewer on the hook within the first paragraph of Book 1 of the first Volume of the “ASCENSION SAGA.” If you have not already done so, I must strongly suggest that you purchase this book and then clear the calendar for the next couple of hours with a glass of wine (or water if you prefer it) and dive in. While I could STRONGLY suggest that the reader begin the story with reading the “Ascension Prequel” and “ASCENSION SAGA (Books 1-3)” before reading “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4),” one could start with “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4)” and the story would be just as compelling. “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4)” is exactly what the title suggests . . . the fourth part of the story about a royal ascending to the throne. “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4)” is the first Book of Volume 2, which focuses on Faith’s story. However, what neither the title nor the blurb tells prospective readers is how easily Goodwin’s smooth pose will capture a reader’s imagination, how rapidly the alternating voice between the heroine and hero of “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4)” will endear the characters of Faith and Thor and a few others to a reader’s heart and have that reader rooting for their happiness! Nor will the blurb reveal how the intensely complex, action-packed, and compelling plotline will pull readers out of their world and take them to the matriarchal world of Aleran, a place of deepening mysteries! For those who are already fans of Goodwin’s INTERSTELLAR BRIDES Series, some of her fan’s favorites make appearances and give a glimpse of life beyond the epilogue. I voluntarily read an ARC copy of “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4)” and this is my honest review and 5+STAR recommendation! As a practice, I do not give more than 4½ stars to a novella, but “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 4)” is just too good to limit and there are two more parts of Faith’s story to read! Happy pages!
